Very disappointing experience with PACK & SEND.

We booked a pickup while relocating from Perth to Adelaide. On the scheduled day, nobody came to collect our boxes and we could not reach anyone by phone. The following day, we were told the pickup had been missed due to a public holiday in Melbourne (but there was no public holiday in Perth), and a new pickup was arranged for the day of our flight.

After waiting for hours, we received an email claiming that we had missed the pickup. PACK & SEND stated that the driver had attended but could not contact us. However, we were home the entire time and no one called, rang the doorbell, or knocked on the door.

We were then told to take the boxes to their depot ourselves, despite having paid for a pickup service. With a flight to catch that evening, we had no choice but to spend an additional $68 on an Uber to transport the boxes to the depot. The situation caused significant stress and nearly resulted in us missing our flight.

In the end, we paid for a service that was never properly provided, incurred additional costs, and received no meaningful resolution. Poor communication, unreliable service, and a complete lack of accountability. I would not recommend PACK & SEND based on my experience.

DHL who were engaged by pack and send did not attempt to deliver my parcel to the address on the box but instead took it directly to the post office of the town. The person it was addressed to C/- the original address which was a motel, wasn't able to collect it from the post office as they put a 'card' in the motel box and wouldn't allow pick up by anyone but the motel owner who had to get the card out of the box themselves. Ridiculous which went my parcel arrived on a Friday but the person it was addressed to couldn't get it till Tuesday and I paid extra for fast delivery.I would have just sent it direct to him at the post office if I had have been advised of this when setting the delivery up.

I recently sent two boxes of household goods from Perth to northern NSW, and they arrived safely and reasonably quickly. I'm very pleased with the speed they were sent, and the price....highly recommended.

Ended up taking 10 days for my 3 packages to arrive from Perth to Melbourne. 1 got lost on the way but luckily it turned up again, it was quite unpleasant not knowing whether the package was going to be found or not as the communication from Packandsend was quite poor.
