Colours nothing like it shows

Colours nothing like it shows, I checked my iPhone my wife’s iPhone and my works computer the colour looks the same but when it turned up nothing like the colour I had chosen, they don’t respond to your emails or refund complete scam I might as well set up the same business I’ll advertise white paint and send black and they say something like we can’t refund you because your screen setting might be different to ours and then say we mixed it specifically for you so no returns what a joke and rip off

We’re sorry to hear you’re unhappy with your order.

As clearly stated on our website, Paints4Trade.com includes a colour disclaimer which advises that colours are for reference only and are an approximation of the true colours. It also states that the quality, type, and settings of the output device used to display our paint colours will affect the visible colour. You accepted this disclaimer at the time of purchase.

We have made every effort to display colours as accurately as possible. However, as the actual colours seen can depend on the device or monitor being used, we cannot guarantee that any screen display will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.

Your order for our Timber Decking Paint was mixed specifically to your chosen colour/order, which is why bespoke mixed paint products are not eligible for return or refund unless faulty.

We also strongly refute your comments suggesting that our business is a “scam.” These remarks are false, damaging, and could be considered defamatory. We would therefore highly recommend that you remove or amend such statements immediately within the next 24hrs before we seek advice from our legal advisors.

Failed to deliver the order

I placed an order on Saturday last week with priority dispatch. On Monday when I wanted to amend the order you told me the black pigment has been already mixed in and there’s nothing you can do about it as the order is due for dispatch the same day.

After 5 days of waiting when I today decided to give you a call to find out why I haven’t received anything I’ve been told that the paint is out of stock.

I found that highly frustrating for couple of reasons. Not only you failed to deliver and I’ve lost valuable time. But you also lied to me to avoid order cancellation. And then on top of that no one even cared to tell me anything for days. This is extremely disappointing and makes us reconsider any future orders with your company.

UPDATE. I've paid £18.99 for priority dispatch and I have the invoice to prove that. My comment has been flagged by you for a review for "containing harmful or illegal content", whereas what should be actually reviewed is your competence. You have issued a refund indeed, but I lost valuable time and a potential client simply because I was unable to finish the job on time despite placing an order well upfront. Thank you very much, Paints4Trade.

UPDATE 2. My invoice literally states "Delivery (Priority Dispatch - UK Mainland ): £ 18.99". Why would I make this up? I needed that special paint asap and specifically bought it from you because of the fast delivery, which never happened. You're misleading your customers and now accusing me of lying instead of acknowledging yet another mistake.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry for the frustration and inconvenience caused.

We would like to clarify that your order was placed on Saturday 16th May on our 2–3 working day dispatch service, not our priority dispatch service. Our working hours for processing orders are Monday to Friday, excluding weekends, so your order was processed when we returned from the weekend on Monday 18th May.

That said, we completely understand your disappointment that the order did not arrive within the expected timeframe and that you were not updated sooner.

We’re also sorry for the confusion around the status of the order. This was not handled as clearly as it should have been, and we apologise for the poor communication.

As promised, your order has now been fully refunded. We’re sorry again for the inconvenience caused and for the time lost.

UPDATE: You did not pay £18.99 for priority dispatch. We suggest you review your original order.
