I would not recommend Paramount or use them again.
We booked a multi cabin cruise over a year out from sailing, under the assumption we were securing the best deal and also booking with an agent who had a great relationship with the cruise line.
A couple of months away from sailing, we noticed the total cost of the cruise had dropped by £4,000. Whilst the cruise line's own terms, as well as the terms of booking via other channels, allowed for at least future cruise credit to account for the difference, after some back and forth with Paramount, we established that this was not possible due to the terms Paramount had booked under. During this process, one of their managers told me on the phone "not all of our customers have the time to check prices every day" - a response which did not seem appropriate given the circumstances, nor professional. I would therefore argue they aren't able to always secure the best possible price and it was an expensive way of learning this.
Separately, we then experienced issues onboard with one of the cabins (which at the time of booking we specifically requested to be in a row) being moved to a noisy part of the ship. After following up, there was an immense amount of contradictory information coming from Paramount and the cruise line, which I have to be fair and say was eventually cleared up by the cruise line. However, Paramount did all they could to absolutely dissolve themselves of any responsibility or accountability. As the booking agent, they had a responsibility to monitor our booking.
Paramount are also happy to cherry-pick the cruise line's own terms when it works best for them; however in circumstances where you feel the cruise line's terms are appropriate to your booking, they have a reason as to why they do not apply.
Any issue we encountered was everyone else's problem, apart from Paramount's. At the very basic level of basic service delivery, they failed.
EDIT IN RESPONSE TO PARAMOUNT’S REPLY:
Regarding accountability: The cruise line also stated that Paramount, as the booking agent, shared a fundamental responsibility to monitor our booking for changes—a duty they failed to perform.
Regarding "no further communication": Paramount's final email to me literally stated: "I just want to use this email to close the loop from our side and make the position clear... ." I posted this review after they explicitly shut the door on us and ended the conversation.
Regarding their "considerable efforts" for a goodwill resolution: This is entirely false as they never mentioned it. In writing, Paramount’s exact words to me were: "Paramount will not be offering separate financial compensation in relation to this matter. Any goodwill resolution will come from Virgin Voyages directly." They did not pursue anything for us; they washed their hands of us.

Thank you for your review. Whilst we respect your right to share your experience, we feel it is important to clarify a number of points.
Following a detailed investigation involving both Paramount Cruises and Virgin Voyages, the cruise line confirmed that the cabin change was the result of an internal amendment made by Virgin Voyages during the correction of a booking issue on their system. This was not requested or actioned by Paramount Cruises.
Virgin Voyages subsequently confirmed this directly to both ourselves and the guests involved. A senior member of the Virgin Voyages team also spoke directly with you to explain their findings and confirm that Paramount Cruises were not responsible for the cabin change. Virgin Voyages further confirmed that, under their booking terms, cabin numbers are not guaranteed and may be changed prior to sailing. Following Virgin Voyages' direct contact with you, we received no further communication, and the matter was not raised with us again prior to this review being posted.
With regard to pricing, cruise fares, promotions, and any post-booking price adjustment policies are determined by the cruise line and the specific fare conditions attached to the booking. Whilst we always advocate for our customers wherever possible, we cannot override fare rules set by the supplier. In this instance, we did raise the pricing query with Virgin Voyages on the customer's behalf at the time, and the response received was in line with the fare terms applicable to the booking.
We firmly reject any suggestion that we avoided responsibility. Throughout this matter we actively investigated the concerns raised, gathered evidence from multiple departments within Virgin Voyages, obtained written clarification from the cruise line, arranged direct contact between Virgin Voyages and the guests, and continued to pursue a goodwill resolution despite Virgin Voyages confirming the issue did not originate with Paramount Cruises.
We appreciate the situation was frustrating, particularly given the care taken in selecting the original cabins. However, we do not believe this review accurately reflects either the facts established during the investigation or the considerable efforts made on the guests' behalf.
Paramount Cruises has been arranging cruises for many years and we remain committed to providing honest advice, competitive pricing, and ongoing support before, during, and after travel.

Had several e-mail exchanges with Paramount's representative (Robin) in order to fine tune the details. Replies were always prompt, informative and Robin had no problem responding to my requests and providing multiple quotes before I was able to confirm a booking.

After feeling a little uneasy booking on an online company I looked up, as didn’t have much luck in a travel agent, I was in touch with Andreia from Paramount Cruise, this lady went above and beyond to help book and organise flights for our holiday. I havent Given 5 stars as my trip is not until june 2027 so cant comment on that service .
Tina was very helpful with booking my trip , i asked many questions and she came back straight away . The day it was booked i had the airline booking through and also the cruise ship booking details through and welcome email from them also.

Booked through paramount
Booked through paramount. Purchased Premium Drinks Package for Cruise. However, started being charged for drinks, when queried with MSC they couldn’t change as we had no confirmation of Drinks Package, despite asking Paramount multiple time before trip. They have rep on board, but you’ll struggle to find them anywhere. Zero Contact details. This was my mums dream holiday that was pretty much ruined through having to try to sort this. Would not recommend Paramount as they don’t do anything to resolve issues.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and please accept our sincere apologies for the stress this caused at the start of what should have been a special trip, particularly given how much this holiday meant to you and your mum.
The Premium Extra drinks package was included in your F1 booking, and as soon as you let us know it wasn't showing on your onboard account, we acted immediately to get it resolved.
As soon as you messaged us at 1:21am, your agent Andreia picked up the case first thing that morning, contacted MSC directly, and asked you to purchase the package onboard so your holiday wasn't disrupted further. Within hours, our accounts team processed a full refund of the $570.28 you had paid out of pocket, and we have formally raised this with MSC to prevent it happening again. Andreia has also stayed in touch throughout your trip and since your return home.
We absolutely accept that no guest should have to spend any of their holiday at guest services, and we're very sorry that happened to you. We're glad we were able to get you reimbursed before the cruise was over.
In the unlikely event you need anything further, please don't hesitate to reach out to Andreia directly, we'd genuinely welcome the chance to speak with you.
