Moving our cat Dexter from London to Dubai was something I was really nervous about, as a crazy cat-mum, but PBS Pet Travel and especially Abbie made the whole thing completely stress-free. The process was explained so clearly. There were no hidden surprises, no gaps in the timeline, and everything went smoothly without a single issue. Their pricing was much more affordable than the other quotes we looked at.

Abbie was just wonderful to work with. She is so supportive and has this calming way about her that really put my mind at ease. Her communication was brilliant, and she patiently answered every single question and concern we had. Thanks a lot for your outstanding service!

I honestly cannot recommend PBS Specialist Pet Travel enough, and especially Abbie, who was absolutely incredible from start to finish.

Moving our two dogs from the UK to Canada was probably one of the parts of our relocation I was most anxious about, particularly as one of our dogs, Rogue, is a nervous and occasionally reactive Bernese Mountain Dog. From my very first conversation with Abbie, she completely understood my concerns and never once made me feel like I was asking too many questions — and there were a LOT of questions! 😂

Her communication was exceptional throughout. She always replied quickly, explained everything clearly and gave us so much advice beforehand to help prepare the dogs for their crates and the journey. It genuinely felt as though she cared about Rogue and Cookie as individuals rather than them simply being another booking.

What really stood out to me was the emphasis PBS put on the dogs’ welfare. Every decision felt as though it was made around what would make the journey as safe and stress-free as possible for them, which gave me an enormous amount of reassurance.

The Canadian side was handled by Sevenoaks Animal Logistics and they were fantastic too. The handover between PBS and Sevenoaks was seamless, everything was coordinated for us and our girls were safely brought all the way to us in Kelowna. After such a huge journey, seeing them arrive safely was an unbelievable relief.

Relocating pets internationally is such an emotional thing to entrust to someone, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Abbie went above and beyond for us and made what I had expected to be one of the most stressful parts of moving countries so much easier.

PBS handled the travel for my two dogs from the UK to the US. The customer service from Abbie was top-notch--above and beyond what I expected. She communicated clearly and frequently, answered all of my (many) questions, and even handled a situation outside her control (brought on by the airlines) with professionalism and excellent communication. In addition, they had the best price among several companies I checked with. Can't recommend them highly enough!

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. The process of getting our dog to South Africa was hugely stressful and complex but PBS handled all the many bumps along the way calmly and professionally and helped us see it through to the end after we nearly gave up on it when timing became complex. Their agents in South Africa were just as wonderful and gave us great comfort during the very scary phase when the animal has left the old home and before they arrive at the new. When it is a precious pet, you really do want to trust the people you hand them over to and PBS are the best.

Ali was different. She was patient, professional, and truly responsible. She carefully reviewed my documents, marked every mistake clearly, and guided me step by step on how to correct them properly. She also explained that checking and correcting documents is a key part of a clearance agent’s responsibility, because it is essential for pets to travel smoothly and arrive safely.

I am truly so grateful to Ali for her help. It was a very urgent situation, and she was incredibly patient in going through all of my documents and checking every mistake carefully. She clearly marked each error one by one, which helped me correct everything in time and allowed my kittens to arrive safely in the UK.

Before finding Ali, I had contacted many UK clearance agents and had even paid some of them in full. However, they did not properly check my documents at all, which resulted in my kittens missing their flights twice. This was extremely stressful and heartbreaking for me.

Ali explained to me that it is the responsibility of a clearance agent to carefully review the documents and point out any mistakes, because correcting those errors is one of the most important keys to making sure pets can arrive safely and smoothly.

What touched me the most was that even before charging me any service fee, she had already taken the time to guide me through correcting the mistakes and making sure all the documents were properly completed. Her kindness, professionalism, honesty, and dedication meant so much to me during such a stressful time.

Relocating overseas can be a difficult and stressful process. Add to that, bringing a pet with you, the stress and emotion can triple.
We are so incredibly grateful to PBS Pet Travel for their support and diligence in our move from New Zealand to the UK. It hasn’t stopped the nervousness and concern we pet parents face but we were constantly reassured during the whole process and knew all the details were being taken care off.
Lucy and Jason worked closely with our NZ pet transporter and kept us up to date as our dog Honey flew across the world. Pick up was seamless and only took a couple of hours with great communication throughout.
Honey has arrived safely and is quite relaxed, signals that she has had lots of care from everyone involved.
