Penny pot dentist in Ashford kent what a wonderful place the staff are so helpful and pleasant been there 2 times now the lady is saw was so pleasant and helpful told me what I needed to have done the receptionists are so cheerful and very nice to talk to they make you feel welcome when you enter the place im not going to change dentist because penny pot is so well maintained clean tidy and friendly 10 out of 10

Be aware of the terrible policy of this practice.
Became a patient at this dentist as I was in the middle of moving to the area, and was told I needed a filling on my first check up. Had to pay privately as I wanted a white filling. £180. My current private dentist can do the same for £160 and is in walking distance of my current home. I informed them I would do this as it was closer to me, and was told I couldn't be on their books as id not be exclusively having treatment with them. So I was penalised for being honest. Now im even wondering if I needed the filling in the first place or if it was a money making exercise, it doesn't come off well for this practice.

Woken up with a ravening toothache last Wednesday the pain was horrendous called Ashford pennypot and got a emergency appointment for 8.40 was in the chair and tooth extracted all sorted from initial phone call to be seen all within a hour

My partner and I were patients at Pennypot Hythe for several years and my parents have been patients since the day it opened, none of us ever had a problem with the practice until my partner became unwell with bone cancer. Following his remission we explained to the practice that his teeth are now very brittle and extra care would be needed when examining them but multiple times when having a filling his dentist cracked his teeth, when we raised this concern and asked for another dentist to give a second opinion we were told that you cannot switch dentists within the practice and if we wanted a second opinion we would either have to pay or go elsewhere (which would result in our removal from their practice). We had no choice but to move to a new dentist, who has since left no damage to my partners teeth in the 4 years we have been with them.
This just goes to show that our concerns were valid but I guess NHS patients dont get a voice..

Went to pennypot this morning for the first time as my regular dentist/hygienist has retired..I saw Hannah the hygienist and explained that I'm a very nervous patient and had a couple of bad experiences ..well I can honestly say its the first time ever that the procedure has been painless!I'm thrilled as I can now go to the dentist without worrying ...thankyou so much Hannah not only were you thorough but completely understanding ...thanks to the lovely girls on reception too.. Thoroughly professional Dental Practise, if only I had been in the vicinity of such pleasant people long ago. Kind, cheerful, informative, just all round great experience.

Dr Manoj is a miracle worker! Had been suffering great pain from broken tooth and expected this badly infected one would have to be extracted together with the adjacent one. But he has painstakingly rebuilt the two teeth and I could only say “Wow!” A really super caring professional and all round great guy! Very highly recommended.

I was referred to pennypot deal by my local dentist been there today to have a cracked tooth extraction as I am so scared and anxious of the dentist was getting upset before I hit there but soon as I walked into the surgery the Dr Rajagopal and the lovely nurse put me at ease straightaway talked me through the procedure she let me squeeze her hand and 9 minutes later all over I was just being a big baby as the procedure was pain free thank you all very much

Absolutely excellent service so far, reception staff are super friendly and extremely knowledgeable and efficient at their job which is refreshing and my dentist Apil was superb throughout my first appointment, literally explaining everything to me, excellent at his job and really seemed to understand what I wanted to achieve. Would highly recommend

Absolutely delighted with the treatment after being referred from my dentist in Dover with a broken tooth and abcess.

I was apprehensive because of the referral, thinking that the necessary treatment might be "complicated".

To be honest, I was somewhat taken by surprise when the dentist said everything had been done!

The dentist and nurse were very friendly (not forgetting the receptionists, of course) and there was even time for a brief chat about my research interests: 10/10
