While it is brilliant not having to throw out the plastic cartridges every month it would be more honest to give a more realistic duration of the phox filter. We have such bad water quality that the most I can stretch out one refill paket is to 4 weeks at the most, however, the filtered quality declines already after 2 weeks… this means that a ‘12 months’ refill only lasts me 8 months at the most. A promise on the website of 4-6weeks per refill would be more accurate.

Product works well, but I find the glass tub style pourer a bit unwieldy, it empties very quickly too.

The water in my area is very hard and kettles scale up really quickly. It tastes ok but sometimes very chemical. However, since using my Phox filter, I rarely have to de-scale. Wish I could use it for my washing machine too!! I chose Phox because I wanted a good, eco-friendly filter - refillable filter (no more swapping out plastic filters) - which gives me clear, pure water that is clear, kind to my kettle and tastes absolutely wonderful. Oh and big bonus, packaging is compact and recyclable. Would give 6 stars if I could.
