I inquired for work that was already on their site, their response was they cant do the job, further queries was met with the same response with no clarity. What I would liked is clarity on why a service being offered on their site cannot be provided.

Edit - Thanks for the response what i would have expected is the below, that even if you could not do all the repair work, suggest options for e.g. Chips on kitchen cabinet - On your website you mentioned you do repair like this.

I felt the response from your team was abrupt and lacking in clarity in terms of why this work could not be done when you specialize in fixing kitchen units etc. Anyway i will leave this as it is and hope you can look to make your responses clearer when work cannot be done on why not.

Edit - i would recommend you update your site as this was one of the fixes I was seeking if you do not provide. It would help if you improve your assessment of repairs as even if you couldn't fix all that was requested to evaluate what you could have fixed. That's why perhaps calling up customers might help your business rather then single line emails, easier to drop an email though. Refer to kitchen-unit-repairs on your site.

An unusual repair, our new Caravan shower tray had a spider cracked caused by a screw from underneath. As it is a Lunar Caravan , spares are impossible so we called Plastic Surgeon , nice guy came out from southampton.
he was very honest, in that they could not guarantee the repair due to the shower tray itself being so flimsy. But our caravan dealer was happy for them to try.
A couple of hours later the screw point had been flattened and the shower tray fully repaired. Exceptional work.
you would hardly notice that it had been repaired.
Tested this weekend , works perfectly.
cant tell you how grateful we are. as if it had not worked the caravan would have had to go back to the dealers for a refund.

This company is one of the most professional bunch of people I have met. Cannot recommend them high enough. If anything goes wrong, they will rectify this straight away.

We had a burn mark on our UPVC window frame from an incense stick and use the Plastic-Surgeon service to repair the damage. Although slightly more expensive than other quotes, not too many companies handle burn marks, it was worth every penny. The guys who came by, came on time and were very polite and professional. The job was completed in 2 hours and looks like there was never anything wrong with it in the first place.

I contacted this company for a quote which they provided. I then called them to go ahead with the repair but could not get through on the telephone. I left a message asking them to call me back which they never did. I then received an email from them asking if I needed any further help. I replied saying yes, I wanted to get the job booked in. They are now back to ignoring me. I chased this up again but no response. Dreadful customer service! I will be going elsewhere.

I was cooking a Christmas pudding and the saucepan had run dry and I stupidly put it down on the worktop and it blistered in several places and looked awful. Clare arrived at the correct time and worked so professionally on it.It was like new when she finished and so much less hassle than having to have all new worktops.Brilliant. Well done

After a dropped coffee jar left a large chip in our silestone worktop, we were worried that we’d have to replace the entire surface! We got a quote from Plastic Surgeon and one of their repair men was at the house within a couple of days to carry out the work. Although we were initially concerned the repair would be visible, Chris has done an absolutely brilliant job and we honestly cannot tell where the repair is! The job took no time at all and he was extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend their services.

We contacted this company asking for a quote to repair a chip on our laminate floor. On their website it's clearly stated that ALL of their repairs come with a 12 months guarantee, no exceptions whatsoever are mentioned.

After contacting them we found out that for our repair the guarantee wouldn't apply, the reason they gave was that the position of the repair was in a "high traffic area". Even though this wasn't true, as the repair was a couple of inches from the sofa, where nobody really walks, it would actually be irrelevant as they state on their website that ALL repairs are covered by the guarantee.

We questioned this and after some discussion by email and phone the staff member (Karen) still refused to abide by the guarantee and agreed that the statement on the website could be misleading.

She said that the word ALL would be removed and it would be made clear that not all repairs come with a guarantee.

This was over a month ago now and this claim is still their on the front page of their website. How are we supposed to trust a company that don't trust their own technicians work enough to guarantee it?

It's obvious that this is just a misleading marketing claim designed to draw people in for them to find out later on that everything was just a big lie.

I had a repair done twice via Wickes, as that was the only solution they would give me due to a crack on the outer rim of my bath. Wickes were not interested in replacing and installing a new bath so plastic surgeons were contacted.
First repair on a p shaped bath lasted 2 days, the second lasted 6 months.
So glad I didn't have to pay for the repair myself.

The issue here is the area in question needed more support, this was not made clear to us, if i would of known, (and i would of thought someone with experience in such repairs would of known this), then i would of arranged to have the area supported so the repair would work. I had to ask a rival company for their opinion and that was just over the phone !

Our Newly laid wooden floor was damaged by wickes delivery men, after two months of wrangling with them, they sent Plastic Surgeon company round, the gentlemen Steve has made a wonderful job repairing the hole in the floor and deep scratches, my husband came home and couldn’t even see where the damage originally was it was that good, he was polite, friendly and has done such a professional job we are over the moon, we will be recommending this company in future, and cannot thank this company enough.

This company repaired some scratches on our kitchen cupboards for Barratt homes before we moved in. We now have a few more scratches and one chip which need repairing. Although this is advertised on their website, and there are before and after pictures of exactly what we need, they responded with they are unable to help with the damage declscribed!
Total waste of time.

Stunningly useless!

Took 2 months - yes TWO months to reply to my enquiry, then were unable to do the job (which a competitor did perfectly in about 45 minutes).

A firm to avoid like the plague!

After a nasty burn mark on our laminate worktop I booked a repair with Plastic Surgeon. Although not cheap it was still cheaper than a replacement worktop. The member of staff was professional and our repair is brilliant, we can barely tell it is there. Very happy and would recommend.

I booked with Plastic Surgeons for the repair of a burn mark on my kitchen worktop. I provided various photos of the area that required repair so P.S. experts could review and see what was necessary for the repair. I was told Plastic Surgeon was used to conducting repairs such as the one requested; I spoke on the phone several times asking about details on the workthat would be carried out (steps) as well as material to be used (as it was close to the stove and had to be heat proof). However, on the day of the service, the person responsible for the repair said he was unable to carry out the repair and walked away. He also mentioned that he was told he was only going to work on the burn and not in the entire worktop which of course did not align to what was agreed between P.S. and me. Since then I have received no communication from P.S. Nothing. I appreciate the honesty of the man responsible for carrying out the work, however, had I canceled the booking within 48 hours of schedule Plastic Surgeon would have charged £120  for the cancelation, yet, should Plastic Surgeon simply say "they cannot do a work, there's no compensation or an apology.
If the work was carried out, Plastic Surgeon would have charged over 1,200 pounds - at least 30% - more expensive than any other competitor. I was told this was due to high-quality work and the one year guarantee. However, the only thing Plastic Surgeons offered was the lack of professionalism.

we had a tiny knife mark on our kitchen work top repaired November 2019. The repair has failed and the knife mark is now visible again - £150 for 20 minutes work !!! I have today emailed Plastic Surgeon and lets see how their customer service stacks up. Will update on this site.

Update: Plastic Surgeon contacted me quickly - efficiently and sent a operative to remedy the work. Took much longer this time and hopefully will last. Goos response to a complaint.

Requested a quote, understandably the quote was delayed, due to the pandemic.
The quote was for a chip 1cm x 3cm and well under 1mm deep, in a white hi gloss laminate TV unit.
To be clear the TV unit cost £374.00
The quote to repair the chip was £365.00
How uttley disgusting, how.can it cost almost the price of the unit, to repair.
So if you have damage in a relatively cheap cupboard, table, etc Plastic surgeon fine finishers is not the financial viable option, it would be.cheaper to replace your damaged object

Really good repair job to my bath recently. Practically invisible. The repairman was smart and friendly and advised me of what he was doing and why. He also explained how I could keep it in tip top shape for years to come! Highly recommended :)
