A very disappointing experience with Podobrace.
I placed my order during Black Friday, when prices were significantly lower. The store confirmed my order and the sizes, and assured me that the products were in stock. Despite this, I received no shipping information or tracking link for several days, and had to contact them myself to ask for an update.
Only after my messages did I learn that the items were not in stock at all, even though their website continued to display them as available. I was then told that my order should be dispatched within a week. However, today I received another message stating that they have no delivery date whatsoever, and they suggested cancelling the order instead.
At this point, it’s hard not to feel that the real reason is simply that I ordered the products during Black Friday at a much lower price — and they probably don’t want to ship them because it would cost them money. Absolutely disgraceful.
Because of their lack of transparency and misleading information, I suffered a direct financial loss, as the price difference now exceeds £50. The company offered no compensation for the inconvenience or for their own mistake.
Their apologies mean nothing. They claim to sell medical products, yet operate with less professionalism than toy shops. Perhaps they should switch to selling toys instead — although on second thought, maybe not, because even children would end up disappointed.
I do not recommend this store. Be careful when ordering — their “in stock” status is misleading, and customers are treated as an afterthought.
