Progressive glasses absolutely rubbish sent them back after speaking with some obnoxious woman on the phone and still waiting for refund weeks later after trying to send proof of return postage as their email address kept pinging back as not known doubt I will see the refund arrive ,never buy anything from the Daily Mail it will end in tears

If i could give zero stars i would.
Avoid Pressplay, the items i bought were faulty, i returned them at a cost to me & this was over a month ago, still waiting for a refund each time i e mail they reply asking for more information, i do not know why The Daily Mail continue to let them advertise, my biggest regret is not reading the reviews prior to my purchase, lesson well learnt....

Bought a chakra bracelet after seeing advert in TV Choice.
This fell apart after three days. I was getting it ready to return when I saw the reviews. After seeing the stories I will just bin it and put it down as a lesson to read company reviews before paying for anything.

Why does the Daily Mail keep allowing these crooks to advertise in their paper..... Stay well clear & don't ever order anything from them.... Those 5 star reviews have to be fake because I can't believe anybody would give this company 5 stars.

I ordered a flip phone as I am disabled, I find button phones easier to use. Sent it back for a refund, they refused, they said I damaged the phone, therefore no refund would be given. I queried this, as far as I know the phone was returned in perfect condition. I couldn't prove it. So no refund. GRRRRRR. Not a good company to do business with.

Purchased a flip phone really not easy to get contacts entered into the phone I send it back cost £8 they returned the monies less £4 to paypal which I never used for years DO NOT use this company even though the ads in papers look good

I am now taking PRESSPLAY to the small claims court they lie to you all the time and the goods are all seconds .

Zoom monocular arrived later than promissed works nothing like the Daily Mail advert claims blatent false advertising will inform Advertising and Trading Standards .After returning it.
Same product can be purchased for £12.99 inc. post on Ebay.

I've just seen a full page ad in the Daily Mail for a Zoom Monocular which prompted me to write about my experience with this supposedly "amazing" product, which is actually totally rubbish, so that people can save their money and spend it on something that fulfils its promises. The zoom on my phone is better. There is no customer service. To cut a very long story short, my goods didn't turn up as promised, the tracking didn't work, my emails were ignored and I had to get my money back through my credit card company. Several weeks later the goods turned up and I informed the company to return them. Heard nothing so the amazing Zoom Monocular (blurry, out of focus, could just about make out a Robin in a tree a few feet in front of me which was actually much clearer on my phone) went straight in the bin. An absolute scam. Don't be fooled by the full page advert in a national newspaper. I even reported this product to Trading Standards. You have been warned!!

Purchased cordless handy vac, faultless service, ordered Sunday came on Tuesday without priority delivery cost. Fantastic, handy item and very powerful. Gonna buy more for pressies as brilliant price

I have just received pressplay mono zoom binocular. Don't buy it based on the claims made. It's a nice wee present for a kid but vastly over rate regarding it's magnification. It makes you wonder were they get these people in the adverts who make these vastly over rate claims.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS…My Mum who is in her 80s bought 2 flip phones, one for herself and one for my dad. They had to wait for my son to set them up so they lost out on the 14 day return which they knew and accepted. One phone wouldn’t turn on and the other while putting in contact number’s stopped working. Mum sent them back at her own cost and was told they both work so you can get them back if you pay postage or we will dispose of them…Don’t waste your time and money with this company you would be better throwing your money down a drain.

I purchased two fans from Press Play as a result of receiving one of their marketing leaflets. I quote from their leaflet: "Keep comfortable this summer and get blasted by cool 16 degrees Celsius air" (not unless the air is already at 16 degrees Celsius, as it is just a regular fan. There is no ability to "set the temperature to 16c" unless the ambient air temperature is BELOW that figure, in which case it can HEAT the air to that figure.) It is just a regular fan, with a heating function. It is no different to any other fan, the leaflet is MISLEADING as it reads, "With the ability to cool the air down to a refreshing 16 degrees Celsius"... this is NOT the case. Had I realised they were just regular fan heaters, I would not have purchased them! They refuse to pay for return postage, despite the fact their advertising is misleading and the only reason I purchased. I have complained to the Advertising Standards Authority.

the item (zoom monocular)is not a zoom and the phone attachment is useless.I have e mailed them several times and they do not respond.Give them a wide berth

By changing its return policy . how can an item thats been open be returned in the same condition as it was sent in the same packaging when the item did not work when it was tried and no refund will be sent .
this is not a shopping channel but a place to send out items that will not work and you payment will not be returned.

I have bought 3 Zoom telescopes with Free tripod and phone holders as presents. The recipients have been delighted. I don’t understand these poor reviews.
The company informed me when they got my order. They told me when they had been dispatched and they arrived on time. What more can anyone ask for.
I am intending to order another for myself.

I telephoned pressplay today to ask where my monocular and was told there was a delay as they are being cleared by customs! I trusted the add because it was in lifestyle motobility magazine, im glad i didn't pay express delivery. Customer service, uninterested.

Received our 2 necklaces for our birthday today, but when we tried to put one on the weak chain broke off! What do you intend to do about it? we will take them to a jewelry shop and ask for a strong chain to be fixed, if it is possible you must pay the cost. Very upset. Ms M. Collins.

I purchased a “Zoom monocular “ from this company.
Don’t be fooled, this does not have any Zoom feature at all. It is simply a monocular. For the price it is just about OK but nothing special. How they can advertise it as a zoom monocular I just don’t understand.

Can only relay my experience and warn you to keep well clear. They sent the wrong item and refused to sent the correct item. Wanted me to return the incorrect item, at my expense before promising to sent out the correct order. They insisted I had ordered incorrectly but refused to send me the recording they said they had of my telephone order. A poorly run organisation with a very unhelpful customer care. Frankly, I told them I didn’t believe them . From my experience I would recommend you don’t waste your money.
