priceline made a flight booking but made an error of one letter on the passenger's name. I caught it immediately and called to change it, very calmly as I thought it's a very small issue which can be resolved easily. however they told me the airline only allows name change 72 hours before the flight. I was surprised but just to be sure, I called the airline and confirmed the same. so I waited. 72 hours before the flight I called Priceline to correct the name, and now they need to contact the airline to change it, and they "called" and "emailed" the airline several times for a full 1 day and a half without any response. I called the airline myself and got in touch with them very quickly, but unfortunately I'm not allowed to change the name as Priceline needs to call to request it. it's a nightmare of bouncing the ball. so I called Priceline again, and they said they have authorization from the airline and will work on changing it. after another full day, they couldn't change it because they never had the authorization from the airline. now the inconsistency is beginning to sound very fishy and frustrating. even more so, Priceline tells me it's already "12 hours" prior to the flight and they can't do anything any more, I need to deal with the airline directly. I called the airline again, and they said they never gave the authorization, and Priceline needs to call. bare in mind, every time I call Priceline it's at least 2 hours, the wait time, the bad signal where I couldn't hear anything, and the "let me check the notes please wait a minute" or "let me speak with the supervisor please wait", and at the end they couldn't change the name they didn't end up doing anything actually. if I had known that, I could have canceled my first ticket immediately and bought a new ticket from the very beginning.
at the end I had to pay the penalty for cancellation and booked a new flight.

They don’t even deserve a 1 star review. As a loyal customer who has spent ten’s of thousands booking thru this company I don’t care if I have to pay triple I will never use them again. I booked a hotel through hem and got a room that ended up not even having a working toilet. They refused to do anything to help me with the hotel. After finally getting the hotel to do a refund I’m being told it will be at least 72 hrs before I’m refunded but Priceline. So now I as a customer have to fork out more hard earned money for a hotel for the next 2 nights in hopes I will receive the promised money back. And because this happened on a Thursday it will be Monday or Tuesday before I see anything. They even had my email wrong and said they sent a 20% off coupon for my next booking to an email I had never even heard of. Don’t walk run from ever using them. I would rather pay $500 a night to holiday inn they ever give them another dime they are shady. And good luck understanding there customer service they speak very broken English

Never coming back after past loyalty
I just booked a hotel directly with the front desk for $5 more because I dint want to deal with priceline after two calls where the price changed and I was interrupted to "explain" how I was not making a good choice, and my "online search inaccuracies" had caused an increase 10 minutes later. When did priceline get so aggressive and fee heavy? Never coming back after 20 years of loyalty!
They are not trustworthy
They are dishonest. My hotel stay was modified from 4to1 day. Priceline emailed confirming the modification and indicated the amount I was to be charged. Instead they withdrew the entire amount and even in light of their own error have refused to return my funds. I have had 4 emails since and each one keeps asking for different documents like bank statements receipts etc. not not trustworthy

I booked a straight flight from LAX to BNA but 2 days after airline changed the schedule with 2 stops so my flight which 4 hours became 12 hours and I ended up cancelling the flight and Spirit refunded my 497.98 but I was charged 545.86. I called the customer service of priceline and they keep on transferring me to Spirit customer service. The difference on the refund was 15.98 for seat I was charged and 30.90 for trip protection. Since I am not taking this flight I was inquiring how can I get my remaining refund. I went in circles with Priceline and Spirit. This is worst experience i encountered and I am travel a lot all over the world. Priceline customer service SUCKS

No way to add the second day so I have had to cancel and go directly with another Hotel.

I have lost £760 as I cancelled to get a refund, which I can't of course. They won't let me reinstate the booking, it was only made yesterday. DO NOT USE. Sadly the people giving reviews already have

It’s a scam company, as I can now see by the 97% 1 star reviews.
I booked a hotel room and the website advised that payment hadn’t gone through. So I again attempted to book and it worked. They then charged me twice, for 2 rooms, and refused to refund the second room due to their “cancellation policy”.
I rented a car through Priceline in Melbourne Aus.
I rented a car through Priceline in Melbourne Aus. for a week trip. Picked a mid size vehicle that would hold 4 adults and 2 bags from Budget. Went to the counter and she gave me a stall number. Went to that stall and there was an SUV but no key for the vehicle. Went back to talk to the agent and she was rude and gave me a different stall. This stall had a small Toyota corolla in it. I went back to the counter to complain and she told me to take that car as that is all they had. I immediately called Priceline to start a complaint and to this day (6 months) have had no luck getting things rectified. I will never use Priceline again.

Absolute scam of a website
Absolute scam of a website. I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel obligated to report this company. They take no accountability. I canceled my flight and am unable to get a refund because they do not answer the phone. They only provide an automated system that directs customers to the airline, which then tells you to go back to them since they are the booking agent. They sent an email stating they have no responsibility for issuing refunds, even though they are the booking agent. Scandalous.

This company somehow linked itself to a hotel I wanted to book. Unknowingly I clicked through on the hotel website, got a quote and agreed a rate, then entered all the info and payment.
Just as I clicked confirm, I noticed the price had more than doubled. I rang them immediately and they said if the hotel confirmed the cancellation they would refund without penalty. This was over a month before but they are refusing to refund despite telling me on they phone that they would.
I have confirmed with the hotel the booking is cancelled but they won't refund as they say Booking won't refund.
They are also keeping 2 penalty fees for the same booking so they keep over £200.
The booking was actually made with Booking.com and I have no way to contact them as I don't have the booking number.
Horrific experience and I will never use Booking.com again let alone this company.
Do not book with Priceline
Do not book with Priceline! I booked a bundle package with 3 adults and 2 kids. Priceline did not add my 2 kids to the hotel reservations, although they are on the flight and airport transfer and now they are trying to charge me more.
I spoke to a supervisor by the name of Nicholas and he assured me he would take care of this because this was Pricelines error and I would get a follow up email. They never corrected this and now my vacation is ruined! 🤬

I booked a 4 star hotel under express deals. After booking, I found out the hotel was 3 stars. Contacted Priceline who said sorry we can't do anything about that.
AVOID - They are scammers
They are scammers, you find a good price for a property but you can't book it. It says it's not available anymore (although it is) and as you keep trying they keep increasing the prices.
