SCAM CHARTER COMPANY. DO NOT BOOK with them in any way.

I have a 3 year relationship with this company, Private Jet Charter (PJC), with several flights over these years. I booked/paid for a private jet, Phenom 300, with my PJC contact Richy Sams, on May 10, 2024. The 17,000€ payment was made by bank transfer from my Spanish bank to their UK based bank. The flight was to take place on September 2, 2024 originating from Madrid and destination one of the Balearic islands. I have spent the last week calling every contact I have at PJC. The plane was never reserved for me and my money has been in someone's UK account since May. All PJC phone lines are either disconnected or the mailbox is full and not accepting messages. All email to contacts at PJC now bounce back as undeliverable. I received no notice of a change of contact except an email from a Steve Giles who is only interested in my future travel plans, to book new charters. He is the only PJC employee I have found with an active contact email. His only response to me was "sorry, your flight is a problem with the UK office, I can't help you". Problem is the UK office no longer exists. DO NOT BOOK A CHARTER FLIGHT WITH THIS COMPANY OR ANY other Charter COMPANY WHERE THE EXECUTIVES OF 'PRIVATE JET CHARTER' MAY EVENTUALLY SHOW UP. Some of their names are
Hugh Courtenay (CEO), Egon Hebovija (Sales Director), Samm Fisher (web shows still working for PJC), Steve Giles (web shows still working for PJC).

Avoid at all costs

Much the same as a previous reviewer, I paid 34K GBP for a return flight from Birmingham to Palma weeks before the flight. Less than 24 hours before we are due to take off, I get a call from their Sales Director ( Egon) saying there has been a "mix up" with the payment to the plane operator and I if I dont pay the operator the full amount again, then we will lose the flight. Almost 4 weeks later as I write this, the money has not been refunded to me with every excuse under the sun as to why. Employee illness. Internet outage. Employee holiday. Everyone has gone home for the day. and so on. I simply do not understand why they behave like this towards a repeat customer unless they have liquidity issues themselves. Solicitor now instructed to pursue the matter. Avoid at all costs.

This is the first time I have used this…

This is the first time I have used this company and it won’t be the last. I booked this trip to take my elderly parents abroad as I found the standard airport procedures too stressful for them. From start to finish (apart from a glitch in the payment procedure from the banks) Fahd was a pleasure to deal with and very thorough and professional. My family thoroughly enjoyed the flights and ease that came with flying private. Thank you so much.

Well done Fahd and PrivateJetCharter

Worked with Fahd on a recent trip, and service level was excellent! Transparent communication, great follow-up and strong focus on high quality service. We had a mix up on the dates over a w/e and he did an excellent job in finding a solution to it. Would highly recommend them

Fah’d was brilliant

Fah’d was brilliant, working with me to make sure everything was just right for my wife’s birthday.
The aircraft and crew were amazing, providing the best service.
Will definitely recommend using this company and service as they attended to everything with patience and attention to detail.

Fahd made everythng easy

Fahd made everythng easy. I needed a safe and easy way to move my family of 8 from Naples, Italy, to Verona. Fahd offered exceptional service and perfect communication from the time of the initial quote, to the booking, to our actual travel day. We were met at the Naples airport car rental return by FBO personnel who walked us through the Naples airport, which does not have a separate FBO security checkpoint. No detail was overlooked, and everything came off without a hitch, including satisfying my niece's dream of having a mimosa on a private jet! I highly recommend working with Fahd and Private Jet Charter.

I will never use PJC again.

PrivateJetCharters.com ruined a trip to Lapland for my wife and myself.
We were travelling with our children and 4 grandchildren to visit Santas village.

As a party of 10 it was more viable to travel with PJC rather than on commercial flights.

We paid £59,000 to PJC 6 months ahead of the return flight.

After a smooth outward flight my wife was contacted by Sam 24 hours before our return flight to advise that that an ex member of staff had failed to pay the carrier for the return leg and that unfortunately due to either a lack of company funds or a problem with the bank account, PJC were unable to pay it.

If we wanted to fly home from Lapland we would have to pay a further £25000 ourselves by credit card to the carrier that day.

I contacted Sam directly to clarify the situation and made it clear that if we had to pay as a result of PJCs error I would be going straight to my contacts in the media.

I also asked Sam to get his manager to phone me to discuss the situation. He assured me that a Director - Hugh Courtnay would call me back

He didnt.

I also left a message with Tony Godley and asked him to call me back to discuss the situation that PJC had put my family in. Again this didn’t happen.

Sam later telephoned my wife 2 hours later to advise that the problem had been overcome and they had got money together to pay the Jet Company. Unfortunately this meant that we missed 2 hours of seeing our grandchildren in Santa land

I have completely lost confidence in PJCs ability as a broker.

I’ve certainly lost confidence in the management, their lack of contact is perhaps the thing that has frustrated me most here.

I will never travel with PJC again.

Let me begin by saying that I apologise profusely for the inconvenience and no doubt stress that you have had to endure.
I have looked into the sequence of events that unfolded and unfortunately there were two main issues here. Firstly, as you have mentioned, it is indeed the case that an ex-employee did not follow strict set Company procedures and failed to instruct our Accounts Administrator to pay over the money due for the return leg at the same time as the outward leg. Not to put too fine a point on it, this disregard for our procedures, which are in place to avoid such an occurrence, is one of the reasons this person no longer works for us. Secondly, our Accounts Administrator is quite new to his post and with more experience would have picked up the fact that a payment was outstanding well in advance and would have rectified the situation very quickly.
I would also like to apologise for the fact that I did not return your call. When your call came in on my mobile I was tied up and when I had the opportunity to listen to your message, I then immediately called our Operations team to find out what was going on. It was clear that the situation was about to be resolved and as it was also clear we were communicating with you, I decided rightly or wrongly that more people becoming involved was unlikely to be constructive. Our CEO Hugh Courtenay was not in the office on the day you travelled, but he did become aware of the situation later that day. However by that time the situation had been resolved and he knew that the flight had departed on schedule. He did not feel further input was required at that time.
But let’s return to the crux of the matter. We have obviously let you down, there is no hiding from that, and we do not wish to hide from it. The wellbeing of our clients is of the utmost importance to us and indeed we could not have remained in business for more than 30 years if this were not the case. Therefore, in order to underline this point and by way of an apology, we would like to offer you a credit of £5,000.00 towards flights next year. This would allow us to make recompense to you and also afford us the opportunity to try and rebuild your confidence in us.

My experience was absolutely wonderful

My experience was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we were collected from our hotel to the moment we were dropped off, it went smoothly and there were no problems at all. All thanks to Ms.Nour Chidiac who took care of this trip from A-Z and stayed in contact with me all throughout the day. Wonderful work and I will definitely consider PJC as my first option when chartering in the future.

Excellent quality and responsiveness

Steve Giles did an excellent job finding us an empty leg flight which cut our expected cost almost in half and got us a bigger, better jet! This was our first private charter and he patiently answered all our questions. He was always easy to get in touch with and remained super responsive, even followed up after the flight to check on how it went. We would definitely do business with these guys again should the need arise.

Sam Fisher at Private Jet Charter was awesome

My wife and I recently took a trip to Turkiye. We had a relatively limited window of time and wanted to explore as much of the country as possible. As a former owner of a US-based Part 135 charter operator, I knew that our best option to cover the ground we hoped would be to travel by private jet. With no charter experience in Europe, we researched charter operators with outreach in Turkiye, and found Sam Fisher at Private Jet Charter.

Not having worked with Sam and Private Jet Charter previously, it was with some trepidation that I prepaid for the entirety of the charter in advance. While the pricing of the charter seemed fair, I had no real basis to predict the quality of the execution.

In hindsight, any of my concerns were misplaced. Sam worked with our tour operator so that the execution of the journey was flawless. The Citation Sovereign from Pan Jet was in great condition and our flight and cabin crew were excellent. I would use Sam at Private Jet charter again without hesitation.

Excellent sercice start to finish

The most important thing to me when working on a private charter is communication and feeling like I am taken care of. Steve Giles really impressed me with that. He was taking care of the whole proces, So it all went smoothly. The pilots were professional and pleasant. The plane was clean and comfortable. The FBO's they used we're great as well. I will definitely be reaching out to Steve again for my future private charger needs. I highly recommend them.
