After spending several months creating dozens of songs, they suddenly deleted all of them. When I checked my email, I realized they'd only given me up to three days to download my tracks — which is nowhere near enough time. It was incredibly unfair.

Riffusion was so good, but like anything google does, they mess it up. Now they want so much more personal information before you can use it. that's crazy. Seriously, take a look at everything google wants access to before taking the jump. Create a FAKE email with FAKE information and only use it for producer.ai. Do not use the account for personal use.
The ai is bad with producer. the lyrics are terrible, it changes YOUR lyrics, it doesn't understand what "metal" is.. it's a bad word so filters kick it out. NEVER had this issue with Riffusion or Suno! It does not follow your prompt at all. Adds whatever instruments it feels.
I am back to Suno again.

I LOVED Refusion... It was brilliant. Songs that could be easily edited, music generated at a simple prompt, it was fun, it was simple, it made my heart sing. I literally spent hours producing music that I listen to daily. THEN CAME THE CHANGE! It became Producer ai and the whole thing lost its ability to produce what you ask for, it's awful, it NEVER gives you what you ask for. PLEASE, BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL!

I've been a user since Riffusion was first introduced. I fell in love with it immediately and left Suno and Udio behind. Then it morphed into Producer AI, but the classic Riffusion is still accessible. After Google acquired it, it became a terrible music generator. Absolutely terrible. Lyrics are forced to change, articulation is messed up, it doesn't follow prompts, it can't adopt original voices, it can't fix songs with precision, and its ratio of getting good songs went from 1:3-5 to now it can get one song done but waste 30-50 broken songs. It's incredibly bad. In the previous model, it was very reliable. It's been two months since Google acquired it, and there haven't been any significant improvements, at least not to the extent of returning to Riffusion's capabilities. It's really disappointing for its users. I'm now back to Suno again, because the platform is much more developed.

There's a saying: "Don't touch a running system". But that doesn't seem to have sunk in at Google yet. Since the acquisition of Producer.ai and the update from FUZZ to Lyria3, this music platform has become completely unusable. Songs are limited to a max. of 3 minutes, lyrics are jumbled, twisted, omitted, or even invented by the AI, genres are misinterpreted, non-English pronunciations are very often wrong, melodies are outdated and unimaginative, and much more. Emails go unanswered, and there are no known plans for an update. The quality is probably better, but what good is that if you can't even produce a song with vocals? It's all very disappointing, because I wanted to use this platform... BEFORE the update.

They can do what they won't do which is offer a model that works. They removed everyone's songs & only gave very short notice & gave only 3 days to download Everything. They knew they were going to remove access to everyone's songs, tho they went silent for weeks before the google takeover. Just like udio did. No communication with members. Many people lost everything, because they didn't log in for a week or two or for months.
This is total disregard & lack of care for the people who supported them.

Those who were on a yearly subscription got screwed even more, as they're stuck with a model that is a skeleton of what it should be. They removed important tools like edit capabilities, extend, cover, etc.
Producer team never really acknowledged their out of integrity maneuvers, other than a brief comment saying, 'we know this transition is challenging...' blah blah'.

Months ago they pulled another fast one on members, when they removed certain features that people actually chose a sub for that feature. Again, they were stuck with something they didn't sign up for.
No surprise if/when they repeat a similar thing again.
Used to be one of the best Ai music platforms in the world.

Riffusion.ai was a great little programme, then they changed the name to Producer.ai, still was good. Then they got absorbed by Google, the product is now not even worth trying the free option. It needs to improve about a 1000% before I'll give it another go.

There is no email support at support at producer.ai. I'm a paid customer and have sent several emails to support over the past year and not one has ever been responded to. Not one. Giving users only 3 days to download everything they wanted to keep without giving them a way to do that realistically was another horrible move. Customers deserve better.

I discovered Riffusion when I was looking for Suno alternatives, since at the time the site still had the 3.5 voice model, and 4 was only available to premium users. As someone who only uses these platforms for fun and personal stuff, I never found a monthly sub worthy for my purposes, and Riffusion could offer high quality tracks also to free users despite some limitations that would only be (rightfully) unlocked on premium. I logged back in a few days ago after some time, and I found out the site has been renamed to Producer AI. Then it asked for Google age verification, which continuously failed. My entire playlists have been removed (thankfully I have downloaded everything) and the user experience has faced a tremendous downgrade. In detail:

- You are now forced to create songs through AI chat, which means you can easily lose your tracks through the conversation unless you save them to a separate playlist. In general, I find it far from practical because you can't get a list of generations like before anymore.

- The overall quality is a lot lower than it was before, and your prompts are not fully respected anymore. They also banned anything even remotely related to existing media, even if you merely want to get a similar vibe. I totally understand that this was required to avoid plagiarism, but let's not forget that the entire AI library (and I mean ALL AI) is constantly trained over someone else's work to begin with.

Absolutely terrible move. Sad to see Riffusion reduced to this.

Cant login, songs are deleted, its a shame for every musician on this planet

What happened? Seriously. How do you take a well-functioning program and absolutely obliterate every good thing about it with an update that's meant to be an improvement? Deleting songs without proper notice, a lack of prompt adherence, a music video creation function that does not work. What a shame. What a waste.

This company send some people a 3 day notice to download their music before it was deleted. Most users did not get any. They found all their music gone, the tools gone and the good models gone.

They had a working product and a community. They sold it all. Now we have nothing.

May we never forget...

Used to be great but now it is horrible, god awful. I liked making rnb songs inspired by boyz 2 men. This new voice they have is terrible, sounds like a folk singer who made it halfway in American idol and got voted out mid season. They need to bring the old voices back, those actually sounded good

Very disappointing service. Subscribed for a full year and out of nowhere they wiped everything for a "new model / product", abusing their customers as paying beta testers for their 3.0 model, that feels more like a step back to 0.3 pre-alpha. Now i have half a year of subscription left for nothing. Last time it took them 4 months to fix their product, just as a sidenote. They gave 1 month worth of credits, for a product that is unusable as a compensation, which disappear anyways as soon as the next month begins, but no extension on the subscription time.

I loved it every day Rifffusion and now until my play list got lost and all my songs

The company are cheats, don't answer complaints, heavy on promotion, non-existant when it comes to communication and support. Don't go near these people, when my sub runs out I'm off to Suno. You have been warned, don't throw your money away!

They will remove all your songs and sessions with every maintenance and update, this tool is waste of time and life, because eventually they just delete your shit.

It was the best tool to generate ai music, but since the update in February 2026 has reduced quality. I used to create great Amapiano and Afrobeats songs but now the songs don't sound very good. You should go back to the previous model.
Edit: I think they made some improvements; now the songs are of much better quality. I have one of the songs I created on repeat.

They ruined the entire platform. Deleted all the user generated songs, removed all the models and features.

This company can't be trusted.
