I bought a gorgeous white Yamaha electric piano from these guys a while back, this review has been a long time coming but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to praise their professionalism, helpfulness, friendliness and excellent knowledge and customer service. I ordered a piano and they talked me through everything, it was such an easy and simple process, and when it was delayed (through no fault of their own) they kept me updated, were really apologetic, and on delivery day they came and set it up for me. Couldn't ask for more - I highly, highly recommend going to these guys :)

I rang red dog music as I wanted to downsize my heavy PA kit for something lighter, but didn’t want to compromise on sound quality. They invited me over for a demo, were not pushy in the slightest, and were happy to offer advice and also leaving me to browse. I made my choice and was offered a deal I couldn’t refuse. I would recommend this company as they are very knowledgable and have a truly amazing display of equipment to try out before you buy.

Excellent service, called Red Dog Music on Sunday, 10 minutes before closing, they found the right drum kit for my 7 year old, delivered it on Tuesday, absolutely helpful after sales. Thank you. He is a little drummer now.

The guys over at Red Dog are always very friendly and helpful and their prices are great! I buy all my music gear from them!

REDDOG is a fantastic company to deal with.. great knowledge I would expect but attention to detail, customer service, excellent staff retention and an ability to do a deal on the spot makes them (for me) the 'go to' company in Edinburgh. That said, they do their best to compete with international 'on site' PA companies. I will continue to use and recommend REDDOG in future.

Red Dog Music is a great place very friendly and knowledgeable, because they're all musician's they speak our language.
Richard, the manager, you could not wish to meet a genuine nicer person, we always get on really well and he's got a wicked sense of humour! I tried out a PA system and he was extremely helpful, I wanted to buy a Roland KT10 trigger pedal and he got one in specially for me but unfortunately it wouldn't work with my electric Drum kit. In future I'll always buy my musical equipment from Red Dog Music, they are passionate about what they do and in this day and age that's a rare thing!

The Yamaha I 600 stagepas , which is great sounding especially vocal,s.
If you purchase something , get it home and have issues or not 100% convinced you made the right choice, which has happened to me on several major purchases over the years, they have been more than helpful exchanging the item with no problem whatsoever, will remain my first port of call for anything music related.
Ps. They also do price match throughout UK. Why go anywhere else

Great Service

Over the past couple of years I have bought a number of items from Production Room/Red Dog Music and the service has always been faultless.

My latest purchase involved sourcing three non-stock items and trading in a synth I had previously bought from them. All the non-stock items arrived earlier than I had anticipated and I got a very fair deal on my trade in.

Throughout the ordering, sourcing and pre-delivery process their communication regarding the status of the various different items was spot on and deliveries could not have worked better.

As with my previous experience, Richard and Adam have delivered an excellent service and I would happily recommend them to anyone planning to make a purchase.

Dave Gardner at Red Dog was amazing in helping me find the right keyboard and accessories and then expediting them up to me. Could not fault his service and helpfulness. Highly recommend him.

Daniel was great, as soon as he identified that the mixer I ordered was out of stock (within an hour of me placing the order online) he called me to advise and offered me a more expensive model for the same cost to avoid delay. He kept me up to date throughout. I'd recommend the Production Room team any time. Thanks.

Bought an item before christmas online - said it was in stock with predicted delivery date, took the money then called to say delivery was not possible till new year, then 4th of Jan got call to say item now costs significantly more than that which was previously agreed/paid... either pay the extra or cancel order. Seems like a scam - beware.

Having been a Production Room customer for many years I know how committed they are to ensuring that their customers are treated well. Having gone in-store and ordered some Modular equipment which wasn't available in the Leeds store on Friday lunchtime it was available for me to collect on the Monday lunchtime - Many thanks to Daniel for sorting it all out and ensuring that everything was in good order (and also for helping me lug the case out to the car). Top service as always, thank you.

I can't praise them highly enough. Really friendly, helpful staff. I wish I had found them sooner. BTW one of the 1 star reviews is about not receiving a refund but only a credit note when the customer found the item cheaper elsewhere. I would say that this was very generous to receive a credit note. Unless the item was faulty the shop has no obligation to do anything. That is a completely unreasonable review.

I purchased a budget priced preamp through Production-Rooms' on-line store. This item was purchased seamlessly, with a prompt receipt and ETA.
On the day of the ETA of the product, I was informed that my preamp could not be delivered unless I pay additional £10, Their Response, "This is due to Brexit".
Ridiculous,P.Room should be more thorough on their pricing strategy and ensure that the price and postage they display at the point of sale, is the actual price the customer will pay without any hidden charges.
Nice Website, but I'm not confident of buying from them again.
