Superb customer service and compared to other local garages, best price for new tyres quoted. The guys working here are gentlemen and I can't thank them enough for repairing my tyre late on Friday afternoon. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend 😊

Excellent service, easy access and a good price.

I turned up 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment, as requested at 08:15.
Nobody arrived until 08:30, at which point there were three of us waiting to be seen to.
The gentleman who worked there made no attempt to acknowledge that we were even there, before he opened the garage up.
Upon doing so, he just walked in and left us outside with not so little as a good morning, please come through.
We took it upon ourselves to walk in and explain our bookings etc.
When I came back four hours later, I had to ask if there were any issues as all the gentleman who worked there did was hand over my car key and comment that the job had been done.
No worksheet, nothing.
They had stamped my service book, and kindly just left my dashboard on the tyre pressure settings.
After booking a Gold service, I expected at least a decent level of feedback but unfortunately never received that. As a result, I will not be going to this garage again.
I've given two stars, as they did seem to change the oil etc which was desperately needed.

Have used the Bathwick Tyres bath in Bridgend for a number of years for tyres, servicing & MOT’s for a number of years.. great service on tyres but questionable on servicing &MOT’s.
Unfortunately, the MOT’s are farmed out to a neighbouring workshop who is always overbooked. Their work is prioritised over Protyre’s.
Dropped my car off for a 8.30am MOT today (collection 9.15) only to turn up at 10.00am to be told that it wouldn’t be looked at for at least another 2hrs.
….terrible service!
Will keep using for tyres but will go elsewhere for the rest.

Had an MOT recently. Was perfectly done, didn’t cost too much. They kept me updated throughout.

The guys were very welcoming, explaining how long it would take and were spot on. Car air-conditioning now working a treat!

Required 2 new front tyres as one was worn other had a slow puncture. Struggled at 3 other garages as no tyres in stock. The guy checked what stock they had and advised they can do it there and then so accepted. Was then told tracking was way out and asked if I wanted them to sort this and would take 10 minutes and cost £40. Job completed I paid and off I went. Got five minutes up the road realising as I’m driving straight my steering wheel was pointing at 1 O Clock. Immediately turned around and took car back. The car then went on a fairground ride up and down on the ramp 5/6 times and was also taken off site for a drive without asking me first, assumed they were testing the steering. This lasted for 45 minutes and which point I was now very concerned. Upon question John Wayne / Del Boy he stated they have tried correcting the tracking and can’t fix the issue and done the best they can stating there could be a worn bush ?? Advised before I took the car there my steering wheel was completely straight while driving. He then waffled on about when is the car due an MOT which I replied that it’s not even 3 years old yet. And he then offered to put on the ramp again but could not guarantee he could fix this. I really started to get angry but stayed polite as I had my 15 year old son with me. I was also going away that afternoon and had told the mechanic this and needed the car as I was travelling a 2 hour drive. I asked for him to put in writing what they had done and what they couldn’t rectify. I asked is my car safe to drive now and was not given an answer yes or no!! All I was offered was a refund of the cost of tracking!! I’m back from holiday now and have to take the car to another garage to sort out the tracking! I will never go there again ever! I’m still livid with the way they were with my car. Would advise you never ever go there

Always helpful with friendly, efficient staff. They know what they are doing and do it well. That's why I always get my tyres from Protyre.

I hit a pot hole in my car and was dubious about my tracking. I rang on a mid morning and was booked in the same day. I needed some track rod ends , which they were able to do the same day.
Very helpful, very professional and I was happy with the experience. Thanks.
