I was very disappointed with the service. ProTyre used to be really good, but has gone downhill in recent years.
I had booked a week in advance for 3 tyres and to explore a squeaking noise coming from the front left suspension or steering arm. When I arrived at 9:30, only two of the tyres I ordered were in stock, so they had to source a third from Bradford. I was told the car was ready at 2:30, and when I asked about the noise, I was told they didn't have time. The price was over £100 more than I was quoted. When I questioned the guy about it, it suddenly came back down to the quoted price. On the plus side, the tyres and fitting were ok.

I have used Protyre on Tong Road for a few years now and have found them to be reliable and honest. If there is way to work around an issue to save me a few quid then they let me know and even though my car is on its last legs they always do what they can to get me back on the road as soon as they can.

Very happy with the service go for my tyres when needed and (mot) would definitely recommended been going for years and wouldn’t change, staff friendly and you get free tea/coffee.

4 Tyres changed in just over thirty minutes, great service.

Very good and professional service

Honest and helpful staff. I was booked in for a new tyre as I thought I had a slow puncture or something. They ordered the tyre for me & then having checked the car, informed me they just replaced the valve. This is great as we know some places would take the piss. Very happy & appreciative.
