I previously had a good experience with Protyre Newark (Selectra Tyre Ltd NEWARK NG24) in 2023, so I returned on Tuesday, 29th July 2025, at 10:30 AM to replace two new tyres and add a wheel alignment service — all fully paid in advance.

Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. I requested the two new tyres to be fitted at the front and the existing front ones moved to the rear. The staff member refused, saying he was too busy, and only agreed after I insisted — but with a rude attitude. His customer service was poor throughout.

After the work was done, he claimed the alignment issue on the front left tyre was fixed. However, when driving afterward, my car pulled to one side, worse than before. Clearly, the alignment service was not done properly.

I’m very disappointed with the service I received this time and won’t be returning. I do not recommend this technician due to his unprofessional behaviour and poor service quality.

Was told I would get confirmation of the job being finished in around an hour from my appointment, 2.5 hours later following no confirmation I called and was told yes it's finished. Thanks for letting me waste 1.5 hours of my time guys!

Good service, rearranged tyres on car as requested, above the normal normal.

Staff were super helpful, professional and courteous.
The team found an unexpected problem with my car and proposed a sensible solution.
Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The service and staff were excellent. The only downside was having to question why I had to booka time slot when the obligation could not be fulfilled.

Rang up in morning for ac re gasingn and was told to bring in straight away and excellent job done

Had all 4 tyres replaced. 1 wasn't inflated properly and I have still yet to receive a receipt.
