We had a wonderful and most relaxing weekend at Puddleduck Valley! The Stables was a true "home away from home" accomodation with spotless and modern interior. Our children were both very excited about the triple bunk bed!! A wonderful touch when we arrived was a basket of eggs (from the farm) and homebaked delicious scones. But what made the weekend extra special was spending time with the family (Melanie, Phil and the wonderful children Heidi and Abigail). Our children are the same ages as Heidi and Abigail and they became instant friends. They showed us around the farm, introduced us to all the friendly animals (favourites were Pippin the dog and the rabbits Peter and Mopsy!) We were invited to do clay faces down by a stream which was a very different and enjoyable experience, rowed in a boat and fished in one of the ponds, kids collected eggs in the morning... However, Melanie and Phil were very sensitive as to let us decide how much or how little we wanted to interact and take part in experiences. For us, it was perfect to immerse ourselves in the relaxing atmosphere. The experience for the kids was certainly made even more special by spending time with Abigail and Heidi. Anyone, who decides to spend some time at Puddleduck Valley, will have an amazing and relaxing time surrounded by stunning countryside and greeted by the most wonderful family. We found it hard to leave and will certainly come back and recommend Puddleduck Valley to all our friends! Thank you for a fantastic weekend!!
