thruth hurts no wonder you want it hidden gonna cost me 1000s to repair my nose damage he refuses refund me so much for caring left me with panick ATTACKS and ruined nose thats needs rebuilding and scared from stitches that pulled nose down at tip and ear cartlidge leaving a raised edge completely ruined look ridiculus thanks alot and you act like its fine its not, you ruined my face and life thanks for nothing you should be ashamed your self i couldnt gotten worse surgery at back street surgery now you cheek not refund me so i can fix mess you made to my face

I had upper and lower blepharoplasty surgery in December 20. The procedure itself was not painful, just a little uncomfortable afterwards with the plasters. I found recovery for me was 3 weeks before I felt confident to apply makeup and go out. The scars healed very quickly and are now almost invisible. The surgery has transformed the way I looked, all the excess skin has been removed and I have no saggy eyelids or eyebags. I would definitely recommend Mr Uppal who was fantastic throughout.

An update 18months on, i am left with scar tissue on one nostril meaning i cant breathe out of one side of my nose. Mr uppal assured me he would sort this and i have since had 2 lots of steroid injections which have helped minimise this. Thank you Mr Uppal

Having been very self conscious of my double chin / no definition between my neck and my chin my whole life and getting married for the second time I decided to see if anything could be done about it.
I consulted Mr Uppal who talked me through what could be done without having a face/ neck lift.
I had two pre-op consultations , the second being very valuable as I had time to think about the procedure and any questions I had thought of were answered before I went ahead with the surgery.
Mr Uppal was very kind , not at all patronising and understood what I wanted to achieve. He is also honest and realistic which helped manage my expectations.
I am just under two weeks post-op now and am already happy with the result which I have been told will keep improving with time as the swelling subsides. I had one concern post-op but this was dealt with swiftly and my concern allayed.
I would recommend Mr Uppal and am glad I decided to go ahead ( I may even get a nice wedding photo ! )

I had my first procedure in Feb 2019 and although my nose looked amazing to start off with, swelling soon kicked in and scar tissue started building up. After 2 years and 9 months of waiting to see if it would improve and a few injections to break down the scar tissue, it was obvious that the bump of scar tissue wasn't going anywhere. This was in no way caused by an issue with the initial surgery, it's just in my genes to create excess scar tissue - lucky me!
Revision surgery was carried out 3 weeks ago to remove the scar tissue and although my nose has swollen again a little, I'm already so unbelievably pleased with the results. A couple of months of taping ahead of me to try and limit the build up of scar tissue and swelling, but I'm sure this time I'll have the perfect nose!
As with the first surgery, my experience at the hospital was great. Every single member of staff and Mr Uppal's team were friendly and reassuring. Laying on the bed in the theatre waiting to go under GA can be quite scary, but I was kept talking and before I knew it was waking up again! I can't thank the whole team enough for everything.

From the initial rhinoplasty consultation, to the procedure and post-surgery care Mr Rajan Uppal and his team have been thoroughly professional, reassuring and immeasurably kind.
In our first meeting, Mr Uppal listened to my requests and concerns and with his previous experience and skill was able to advise me on what will work best for my face and nose, leaving a result that will look good and natural. On the day of the procedure the whole team from the nurses, anaesthetist and Mr Uppal consistently reassured me and made me feel at ease with any nerves I had. The post surgery aftercare has also been brilliant, with zoom calls and the opportunity to see Mr Uppal if there are any persistent concerns. The result of the rhinoplasty was as I wanted with the natural look and removed the bump on the bridge of my nose, the swelling and discomfort was minimal compared to what I have seen online and my recovery was fairly quick.
I sincerely thank Mr Uppal and his team for everything they have done, this procedure has massively improved the look of my nose, my confidence and has changed my life for the better.

I am a 58 year old male and after disliking my asymmetrically projected nose for most of my life, I finally decided to do something about it!

In addition to Rhinoplasty, I was also looking for a Septoplasty to improve breathing which was a result of my septum deviating to the left leaving only 10% of the airway free.

I did my research on a number of Rhinoplasty surgeons over a 2 year period. I had some concerns over maintaining the shape of my nose and didn't want to end up with something unnatural that didn't suit my face.

During my face to face consultation with Dr Uppal, he explained what was and what was not possible, listened carefully to my concerns took notes and several photographs of my nose from different projections. He was then able to manipulate the pictures so that he could show the likely outcome based on my requests. He also helped me with recommendation of other improvements that I hadn't given much thought. (Reducing the nostrils so they were balanced and not flaring and reduction of a drooping columella). He also recommended open Rhinoplasty which he thought would provide a better final result.

Dr Uppal was able to provide me with complete confidence in his ability. The consultation was comprehensive, friendly and unrushed.

I had my Rhinoplasty & Septoplasty in early November 2021. This was a day surgery at the BMI St Margaret's hospital in Windsor. Dr Uppal and his experienced team made me feel very comfortable from start to end and I was able to go home at 3.00pm on the same day. Like most people, I had concerns over general anaesthetic but this was all a very smooth experience, and I was enjoying lunch soon after I was taken back to the ward.

I'm now 1 week post operation and can honestly say already that this is one of the best decisions I've ever made. Although its still early days, I'm delighted with the work Dr Uppal has done. My nose is completely symmetrical for the first time ever, it looks very natural and attuned to my other features and finally I can breath much better due to the Septoplasty.

My new nose is a dream come true, I am very pleased with the result and I am very grateful to Dr Uppal and his team for the excellent job and the care I have been receiving. His assistants are also very efficient and all my questions are answered promptly.
I am 3 weeks post-op, unfortunately I had a complication on day 5 (epistaxis) and I had to be admitted to hospital, Dr Uppal was extremely supportive during this time and even liaised with the ENT Consultant.
Swelling and bruises faded very quickly in my case, I can now breath through my nose but still feeling blocked so I can't breath well, however I was told this is normal and should improve over time. I can't deny that this post-op phase has been stressful for me but the amazing nose result and the ongoing care have made me feel positive and safe throughout the process.

I am 3 weeks post op and very pleased with how my rhinoplasty has turned out. I would highly recommend Dr Rajan Uppal. Although I feel the initial consultation(s) were alittle rushed. Post op consultation all question were answered and any doubts I had were put at ease. My swelling wasn’t as bad as expected, so do tape up at night as advised.

I had rhinoplasty with Mr uppal 12 days ago after many years of hating my nose. Mr Uppal was the first consultant I visited and within moments of being in the room I knew he was the right one for me. He put me at ease the second I walked in, and with someone who suffers badly with social anxiety that is a very impressive feat.

After the original consultation I had about a week/2 weeks to think over my decision before my second consultation to confirm if I wanted to proceed and also offering me the chance to ask any questions.

One thing I will say is I felt both the pre-op and post-op consultations did feel a little rushed and more time would have made me feel a bit more considered as I felt a few times I did not manage to ask questions I wanted to because I completely forgot with how quickly they passed.

I also struggled a lot with contacting Mr Uppal outside of our scheduled consultations and the few emails I have sent his team said they would forward yet I never heard anything back.

I am quite happy with the outcome of my surgery so far, though I am still in the healing process and very swollen. I have some concerns which still need addressing which I’m hoping will resolve any doubts I still have regarding my care.

Overall I am glad I went with Mr Uppal as he has clearly done an good job and has made a vast improvement on my nose. I just wish communication could have been better, so I felt more supported, especially during the very difficult time of recovery.

Mr Uppal was very helpful and open during initial consultations, taking time to explain the realistic achievements that could be gained via surgery and managing my expectations. At no point did I feel pressurised or rushed into making a decision to have surgery and all my questions and concerns were carefully and considerately answered. Mr Uppal's Practice Manager / PA Sharon was also very helpful in booking consultations and making arrangements.

On the day of the surgery (pre and post op), the team were helpful and caring (the hospital staff at Princess Margaret Hospital and Mr Uppal's own team) putting my mind at rest, checking how I was doing and making sure I was comfortable.

Since the operation Mr Uppal has been quick to respond to any concerns I've had (ahead of our planned follow-up consultation) and was very considerate and patient during the consultation (I had a lot of questions). Mr Uppal remains available to answer my questions should I need to follow up on anything / have additional checks.
