Please I repeat please do not buy anything from RC planet there customer service is horrible I recently brought a losi 3xl lst 549.00 dollar RC monster truck when I got the RC the turning didn't work bad servo I called RC planted the service they gave me was so horrible the sales lady gave me attitude and total disrespect I asked to talk to manager she then transfer me to a guy named Todd I explained to him I called horizon hobby manufacturer of the RC and they told me as long as I never ran the RC that RC planet would be able to exchange it for a new one and they refused and the manager Todd act like I was lying about contacting horizon hobby I spend 7 hundred there and regret it everyday please do not buy anything from this place there return policy and service everything in general is bad about this place

I ordered a receiver MT-202RE to replace the old one. This one works for 20 seconds and after that is stops for ever. To make clear the motor is runing and is ok. If the car broke (my is a Volcano18) put it in the garbage, don't order parts. You waiste money and time.

Never heard from them since.

They are nothing but the middle man, and if you have an issue with something you bought, they will just pass the buck to someone else.
They should stand behind the products they sell.
yes it does say inside the package to return to manufacturer if their is an issue, but you arent given that information until you open up a P.O.S., then the manufacturer wants you to jump through hoops.
Hows about i send it back where i bought it and you deal with the manufacturer. if they are making junk why are you selling it?

Ordered a gas powered RC car for my son. The car came apart ( pull started and rod that goes into the engine) and because the car was out of the box they forwarded me to the manufacturer, Redcat. Redcat sent a new pull start handle, rope & spring, but the motor rod it attaches to is still not attached to the old one. I let Redcat and RC Planet know about it, Redcat closed the issue on their system and never responded. I call RC Planet a month later and they refer me back to Redcat who wants me to now send the car to them at my expense so that they can repair it and send it back to me. I've requested a replacement (because who wants a repaired car that has never been started) or a refund, RC Planet will not offer a refund. I forwarded information on Redcat to the Better Business Bureau and they have stated that my issue is now permanently closed. This has been going on since February and we're now heading to the end of April. Neither of these companies (Redcat or RC Planet) deserve your business. Shop local when you can and only believe reviews that describe how these companies handle warranty issues, that's the truth of who you're dealing with, RC Planet and Redcat fall way short of being a trusted provider.

The beginning of the second week the charger caught my actual truck on fire. Thankfully it did not happen in the middle of the night. I live in a small area and the whole place could have been in flames.
The car only comes with a car charger! There are warnings everywhere not to leave battery unattended while charging. I had unplugged the battery and an hour later went outside and the cab of the pickup and the items on the front seat were in flames.
TRAXXAS is taking NO responsibility for the faulty charger. Claiming "an outside heat source"... think about it, I live in the mountains in Wyoming, there is no outside heat source.
I do not Recommend TRAXXAS ...
BUY a DIFFERENT brand. BBB will be reviewing the case.

Thoughtful and helpful human beings work at RC Planet. Wanted to buy the same Hornet I had 30 years ago for my 8 year old daughter, and was unsure about what accessories I needed, sending them a email with low expectations. Pleasantly surprised to get a response within hours from a person who had obviously read my email, understood my hazy memory, and gave me specific advice, without upselling. Then, when FedEx lost the package, RCPlanet was fast to respond to my plea for help tracking it down. When that failed, RCPlanet was fast to respond to my request to send another whole shipment out. They did that the same day, no questions asked, no grief about their potential loss if I were to also receive the original shipment. (Which I did, and because of how attentive all RC people were with my order, I was happy to take time out of my day to call them and request a return label for the duplicate order that I could have just as easily kept.) Haven't assembled the kit yet, so I can't yet verify that I bought what I needed, but I'm very confident that RCPlanet is ready to help me if I need it.
