To whom it may concern at Reeds,

After all my years of desperately relying on online restaurant reviews i had it a personal policy only write five star reviews or none at all because of the severe impact they can have those working as small, medium & local freelancers & entrepreneurs. However after my personal experiences with not just Reading branch related lawyer lady Joanna Been but also with whoever was behind the head office related general firm's info Reeds email follow up to me i just seriously had to make an exception and write an outright 1 star review: believe me if i could i would have genuinely been okay to give i don’t know how many negative stars or at least zero stars.

Among countless other things, lawyer lady Joanna took around 3 months since the initial message between us to send over a roughly 2 page pdf police disclosure to legal representative document. She among other things seemed to have told me to move on and that there’s nothing further to add etc…only to then email over a 2 page document she could’ve sent over months ago. I’m not a regular in custody and didn’t really know what was happening because hopefully i’m not a guilty criminal. I was falsely accused of harassment despite the fact that i want to be religious and believe in the sanctity of marriage the old fashioned way.

I don’t know what else i can or can’t smoothly say in a public review as police related situations seem to be confidential so i’ve tried to instead put together feedback and email it in as what somehow became a 69 page pdf attachment incl. Various different print screens of emails that got pit in writing to in case that helps as evidence for your potential internal investigation, feedback and/or disciplinary related things at work.

Also I didn’t actually expect this but according to Q&A sessions with AI chatbot, Joanna Benn might have broken multiple parts of the Solicitors Regulators Authority code of conduct. I tried to look up and read the SRA’s code of conduct and unfortunately as far as I’m Joanna Been did consistently seem to routinely potentially break SRA related code of conduct policies.

Sincere sorry to any and all the hopefully genuinely good type of lawyer ladies & men at Reeds who seem to have had their name massively hijacked by both lawyer ldy Joanna Benn and whoever was behind the email efforts to me via the general info Reeds firm email address.

Been dealing with these solicitors for 20 years. A solicitor called David came along, thought he was pretty good until he bellowed down the phone to me for calling at 9pm when I had an emergency and no one else to contact when he TOLD ME TO CALL ANYTIME.
I then sent him a message following monday saying I didnt appreciate him leaving me all weekend when he knows I got no one to contact other than him and my mental health is extremely poor due to my current situation.
He then goded me into saying il find another solicitor out of anger as he was basically saying I should find another solicitor and making me feel like I was a piece of shi with choice legal words.
They then sent me a letter saying they refuse to work with me and for me to stop calling the office, have left me in such a TERRIBLE SITUATION with no legal defense, no help, I've been stuck in what feels like TORTUROUS PURGATORY. cannot believe in saying this after 20 years of business... PLEASE AVOID THIS SOLICITOR FOR CRIMINAL DEFENSE. THEY lack SEVERE PROFESSIONALISM.

I do not feel Kate Macnab put the care or time she could have into my case, I left the court room broken and instantly upset with her help, I am now working with a lawyer for a civil claim against Wiltshire Police who also agrees Kate’s help was subpar. I told her I could not remember the incident due to a psychotic break, looking at the evidence with my new lawyer, I pled guilty to 2 things I did not do, they entered the local news paper and I tried to take my life.
