I have a 2006 MX5 with the original key fob.
I tried to get inside the unit to try and clean the pcb board because the buttons would only work when pressed very hard.
I broke the small plastic barb that when pressed down releases the slot to get at the inside.
After some research and ridiculous quotes I came across this company. Highly highly recommended the service.
Every thing was done in a week and works perfectly.

Absolutely brilliant , its the second key i have sent to him . The service is Amazing i sent the key in the post on Monday, and received it back on Wednesday , Cant fault that . Will be using him again as iv got a few more keys that need sorting .

Fast turns around.

I was a bit concerned about this, especially sending a key just before Christmas. But the VW garage wanted £350 and it would take 10+ days.
I ordered, put the broken key in the post special delivery. An hour and a half after the key arrived at its destination, I got an email saying it had been fixed and was being returned.
I was sceptical. I was concerned. It felt too good to be true.
My key was returned to me the next day, and it worked. I have no idea what repair was made, (it would have been nice to know) but who cares? It works!

Quick, easy, key sent Saturday, emailed to say they were fixing, another to say dispatched, key was repaired and returned along with its old chip so I knew it had been replaced, and I had it back on Thursday. Recommended and would use again if needed.

When my ford transit customer key fob stopped working I contacted ford parts to see if it could be repaired. They said it couldn’t and quoted me £265 for a replacement!. After a bit of searching I came across remote key repairs, their website said it could repair my original key and send it back within the week for £65! . Key now works perfectly and they sent it back within 5 days. Fantastic service and would definitely recommend. Well done.

Although issues were faced a plan was put in place and communication was excellent throughout.

Really helpful keys for both of my vehicles (both Skodas from 2018) broke at the same time. The process was quick and easy. The Skoda dealer quoted £400 each to replace my keys so these guys have saved me money!

I contacted Paul via the website to explain the problem (a faulty key fob) find out if he thought he could help and see what the process was. Then it was a fairly straightforward process of sending my key fob off and waiting. A few days later my key fob was returned and has been working well since.

I'm really pleased to have my main key fob back in working order and would use the service again.

From raising my initial question about a remote problem to receiving the repaired remote back took 3 days. Although I have to wait 2 weeks to test the remote as the car is abroad, I have the peace of mind of a refund should it not work. A pleasure doing business.

Was debating getting a new key for my daughters car as some of the remote buttons on the key had ceased working. I then found this guy and it was so much more cost effective to repair the existing key, Given good knowledge and a good communictor throughout. Credit where it is due hes doing a good service here.
