I toyed with the idea of a battery and crunched the numbers based on cost v benefit over 10 years. I reached out to three suppliers including the installer who installed our solar panels. I decided to reach out to another supplier based on review by Solar Quotes. That supplier was RESINC Solar. Solar Quotes had recently nominated them as the best installer based on service. From the get go it was apparent that RESINC were customer attentive and focussed. A zoom meeting was set up in February and we went over my usage. Based on my usage a 10kwh Anker Solix X1 battery was recommended. An installation date was set. Even though they installed the system after 1/5/2026 they honoured the rebate that was applicable prior to 1/5. The installation went like clockwork. The installer guided me through the app. A follow up zoom call was arranged two weeks later. They fielded my questions and showed me how to input my TOU times and rates. A home visit was arranged in July. We went over data. Talked about the best rates particularly supply rates and off peak rates. Alternatives including free saver and VPP plans. My current provider was adjudged to be the best fit at present. They said that they will check in on me every year to see how the battery is going and possible ways to get better outcomes. I have found throughout the process that RESINC have been highly attentive and informative. With service like that what more could you ask for?

These days whenever I go online or use a computer, I always wonder if I’m doing the right thing whether Im opening myself up to scams that’s why it’s so reassuring when Resinc comes out to compare the energy market for me on my behalf, it’s also comforting to know Resinc is in the background still monitoring my system gives me a lot of peace of mind

We had a slight issue with the battery a few months after installation although it did take a few weeks for resinx to come out and fully sort it once they did everything has been working well since.

Sat down for my 12 month post install meeting with bailey and he was extremely helpful in finding a better energy provider and giving information about the battery
