Early days, but very happy with our new Rockdoor installed by Home Smart Windows. Looks great, and installation by a great team went smoothly.

The guys at McDermott Windows Blackburn were nothing more than 100% professionals .
Cracked on with the job , removed the old doors and side windows and cleaned up after themselves to leave everything immaculate.
New door looks amazing and feels solid and secure with the extra element of not feeling any draughts anymore

Had two doors fitted in 2014, front south facing door never used, this summer noticed symmetrical cracks on either side of glass panel. Fitter said could only quote for new door as now out of warranty.

Read hundreds of reviews noting stability affected by UV causing same cracking and warping particularly on dark colours.

Door clearly not fit for purpose hence decision to progress via 2015 Consumer Rights protection.

Misleading and you would not expect to pay £2000 for a door to last 10 years.

All legal options will be explored including false advertising.

I am fully aware of the six year rule but are you aware of the implications of advertising that your product lasts 20- 30 years (45 in a different advertisement).

Plus reasonable expectations of the lifespan of a ‘high premium’ external door.

Your doors fail the test of time in Sun exposed environmental conditions and consumer evidence strongly suggests’ they are not UV resistant particularly those of dark colour.

Your business model tries to circumvent responsibility for these manufacturing/ material issues to fitters.

Absolutely fantastic door and service. The team at Rock Door were really supportive from the first day up until installation. The door itself is of great quality as well as the fitting. Would definitely recommend!

PLEASE BE AWARE! I purchased a Rockdoor from GAP in December 2018, a composite top quality "Elite" range door. It's now bowed to the point that it's started to crack....after 6.5 years. These doors were sold as top quality, they definitely are not. The door has bowed so much that it's now cracking in several places, Gap are not interested at all. Please bear this in mind if you're considering using this company and read other 1* reviews of which there are many - it's extremely disappointing, I now have to buy a new door, surely it's reasonable to expect a door to last more than 6 years? Whatever else they say and whatever excuse they give, 6 years should not be the life of a Rockdoor..."a top brand" apparently. I'm in business, if I treated my customers like this I'd soon be out of business! Just extremely disappointed in a company that I thought was decent, I was wrong.

Please read other reviews about their doors, I am far from the only one who has had this experience, it's outrageous. When I told them (GAP) I'd take them to court, the response was "go ahead". But ultimately they are just the distributor, Rockford make these products and should be responsible for manufacturing a fit for purpose door.

Update; see response from Rockdoor below, not a single reference to the fact that a door should last longer than 6 years. More importantly, they knew about the quality issue with these doors and chose to do nothing, again I ask anyone to read other reviews, they were absolutely aware of the manufacturing problem and yet they stand behind the 5 year warranty. Any reputable / respectable company would’ve offered to repair or replace what is a known faulty product…not Rockdoor!

Door looks great! Really solid, great quality, lovely design and perfect colour match to my windows. Purchased from a local
Company, great service there too.

Researched door and used approved installer from their website , door was fitted to a very poor standard and doesn’t even lock without using excessive force on the handle . No guarantee explained or given or energy advice label . Door is discoloured and not fit for purpose, the door that was removed shut and locked perfectly after 17 years of use but this abomination doesn’t seal and it’s one day old

We had a new front rockdoor fitted 5 years ago. It started bulging after the first year. I contacted the original fitter who installed a new one. The same bulging and distortion happened again the following year. Unfortunately the fitter had formed a different company and was not liable. The 10 year guarantee according to rockdoor initially when I contacted them was with the fitter and not the company.
After I wrote a bad review like this one, Rockdoor did get in contact with me and was very helpful offering to change the door via a different installer.
This has now been booked in for a couple of weeks time, hopefully all will now be well.

Awesome staff, very helpful and go above and beyond.

My son ordered and fitted my new front door; as he is in the trade he advised it was the best you can get. Now fitted I can concur that design, appearance and function surpassed my expectations, superb.

We’ve had the Vogue front door from Rockdoor fitted.
Very happy with it, it allows in more light. The quality of the door and fittings are excellent.

Our recently fitted Rockdoor Dune in anthracite c/w misted glass looks absolutely superb as our main entrance door to our front porch. Very well manufactured with top quality locking mechanism. A great addition which undoubtably enhances our listed property. We have no hesitation in recommending the company and product.

I’ve recently had a Rockdoor fitted, an Illinois Pinnacle and I’ve got say I love it. It looks amazing. The bevels in the glass are beautiful and classy, which gives the front of my home, a real positive impact. The door itself looks and feels solid, no wonder it’s called a Rockdoor! Yes they are expensive, but my mantra is “you get what you pay for.” And as long as you have a trusted fitter who knows what they’re doing, re fitting it correctly, I genuinely believe that Rockdoors are good value for money.

My main door is beautifully done with great finishing and sturdy quality. Very satisfied with the work! Highly recommended.

We’ve just had our new door fitted today. The quality is fantastic! I designed it myself using the tool on the website and it’s turned out better than I could ever have imagined.
