No delivery of order
I ordered an e-mountain bike from Rutland but the bike never arrived. I had to chase them for answers and was told on a number of occasions they would check delivery and call me back. This never happened, despite me paying a deposit. I eventually cancelled the order but had to wait for my deposit to be returned.

Excellent after sales support
Excellent after sales support from Millie when the Bosh battery died almost 2 years we bought the Motus from Rutland. Battery replaced under warranty by Bosch and Rutland refunded the admin charges we incurred when we took it to our local Bosch dealer.

Another Great Experience with Rutland Cycling.
Rutland Cycling are simply one of the best online cycle companies going. In addition to a wide stock selection at competitive prices, they also offer great service from attentive staff. Each time I've ordered and made an enquiry, the experience has been the same.
This time round, I was given incredibly attentive, supportive and polite service from Shannon at Customer Care.
Shopping here is highly recommended, they are so accommodating and offer help and support beyond what you might reasonably expect.

First class experience from beginning…
First class experience from beginning to end. Bought a lovely e-bike, the guy (Joe) discounted the pedals even though the bike was in the sale. The end to end user journey was fabulous, I was kept updated at all times by Millie. I also had a small issue with a warped rotor and Rebecca agreed to reimburse without all the hassle you get from 'other' online retailers. Delighted and impressed,

Superb bike fit
Superb, I did have slight apprehension regarding having a full bike fit due to the cost however what you get is absolutely spot on. Definitely ensures your pride and joy fits perfectly. Just recently completed an endurance ride which massively highlighted a number of issues which Phil at the Nottingham branch has been able to rectify. It’s definitely cost effective too as I don’t need to buy a number of new items that I thought I would have to purchase. Don’t hesitate, it’s worth it 👍🏻.

Spoilt brats at Rutland trying hard to get honest reviews removed here instead of dealing with their gross negligence. Check out the awful companies house profile as they hold their big hands out.
UPDATE2 - BULLYBOY RUTLAND BRATS trying to get review removed telling porkies. "Rutland Cycling flagged this because they believe it contains harmful or illegal content" any truth in that defamation cry babies then sue me you have all my details. I be happy to expose that case in a court of law with great publicity. Maybe you should ask daddy for some advice first.

What an absolute nightmare to deal with presales. Heaven help you with any post sales!! This is the worst, by far, cycle outfit I have ever had to deal with.
I contacted the 0330 number this morning regarding an - Apache Matta Tour E5 2021 Hybrid Electric Bike Silver 18" -
Spoke to a very helpful young man who informed me they had one in stock at the 257 Barnwell Rd, Cambridge CB5 8SL store for free trial. I had discussed I needed to try the bike on the stairs to my flat one floor up in walk mode. Some work fine (Suntour motor was best) and some useless. Had most trouble with mid drives though Bosch was OK. Anyway I contacted the store and after an age it was finally answered by someone barely who barely spoke English. Muddled through for a couple of minutes but she was clearly very distracted by something else.....eventually as Im talking to her she is talking with someone else at the same time!!! I gave up and dumped the call.
I again tried 8 times to call later in day with no answer. I then got through to kevin who was equally vague about the bike and what to do. I said I want to book a test ride next week. I said if I pay for the bike can I take it to my flat to try the stairs 10 miles away. Not happy with that at all. I even suggested I would pay in full instead of just leaving a deposit. He then claimed test drive is only 30 mins max.........sigh and it would need to be serviced in workshop on day. I finally gave up. I am amazed the cowboy outfit is still in business with this shocking attitude to customers. never again. Halfords looking great in comparison and only too happy to oblige potential buyers. They also do a FREE 6hr test ride on their ebikes, Full 2 years warranty, local store where you can deal with real people instead of attitudes, and £1500 cheaper (July 2022) time to party on the change :).

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear about your recent experience at the Barnwell Road Store.
I have spoken to the store regarding the issues you have raised. We do not condone negative comments towards a colleagues nationality especially when they are doing their best to assist. As a newer member of staff they were seeking advice on how to provide you with the correct and accurate information over the phone so I do apologise if they couldn't be of assistance.
Barnwell Road have also advised that the store offer a 30 minute test ride which is standard for all of our stores. This can be for any bike you wish to purchase and not just for the bikes we have on demo. All bikes that are to be purchased or test ridden do need a PDI which is a pre delivery inspection and this if for safety. We would not be able to release a bike without this having been carried out in case there are any issues with the bike. Therefore the bike could not be released to you straight away as requested. The workshop team would need to safety check the bike prior.
The 6 hour e-bike test ride at Halfords is for demo bikes and not for all bikes that they have available to purchase.
I do however hope that you get on well at Halfords and if we can be of any further assistance in the future, we would of course be happy to help.

Exemplary “Customer Service” - can’t thank the Warranty Administrator, Andrew Lewin enough for all his efforts to sort out a warranty issue for me.
Will always try Rutland Cycling first for all cycling needs.

Amazing service, just ordered my second bike through them and wont be my last, tried so many bike sizes and colour combinations to get something that is in stock and a perfect fit to what I want

Genuinely excellent service, knowledgable staff, and a good stock of parts even for some of the more obscure bikes! Fixed a wobbly kickstand on my recumbent no problem. Good bunch of people!

Best Customer service EVER
Was shopping on the website and got stuck with an error message regarding my postcode...
at 7 pm was able to chat to a very helpful customer advisor.
She managed to find a solution so I could order my item, send me a link payment and did everything possible for me to have a great shopping experience.

Waited over 3 months for delivery of my…
Waited over 3 months for delivery of my new Ebike I can’t understand how there advertising bike for sale when they don’t have them in stock even thought there website says in stock with great regret I had to cancel my order as I just didn’t believe them anymore and the thought of having any issues with the bike and going through all this again just simply isn’t worth it for me .

Your pre order had been pushed back unfortunately, however the sales team offered a £250 deduction as a gesture of goodwill for the delay which you accepted.
I can see that the bike has now arrived, been prepared for you and booked for delivery tomorrow.
I do hope that you enjoy the bike and please let us know if we can be of any further assistance in the future.
Slow & inefficient
I ordered a bike helmet on sale. It came packed with a small piece of bubble wrap that covered a small portion of it, and then just black plastic wrap. I ordered Sat, it arrived Thursday, 48 hour royal mail delivery, except as it was royal mail, I got a 'You were out card', so it arrived 7 days later.
Sadly, though I fit the measurements it was too small - so is returned at my cost, and as it's Saturday, according to their site, I can expect a refund to be processed in maybe another 10 days, and when that comes through, I can order a different one. It's not terribly efficient or helpful.
