Sent my immaculate saddle to them to sell. They took dreadful poor quality pictures that did not showcase it as well as my own photos. I asked for it to be returned months ago but no response. Finally got it back today minus my cover which they now tell me they don't have any longer, not sure if lost or thrown away. Pretty disgusting service all round really. Now I have a saddle to sell without it's correct cover. Never again

Response to SD response. I do not want a cover advertising them, my saddle should go with it's Jeffries cover.

A fabulous concept and very quick to get the trial saddle out but disappointed as wanted to part ex my Fairfax Gareth Dressage saddle and was told I needed to pay for the trial saddle first, submit a valuation form for my fairfax and if happy with the offer then I’d be refunded but after paying for the trial saddle and submitting mine for valuation I was told they weren’t buying any stock at the moment. It would have been better to have told me that upfront so I could have made a more informed decision. I have kept and paid for the trial saddle and very happy with it despite this small frustration.

Fantastic service. Very fast to respond to email enquiries, saddles I got were in the condition as described, and was refunded very quickly upon return of the saddle. Love that you can trial 2 saddles with paying a deposit on only the most expensive saddle - very nice given how expensive saddles are. They were also very understanding of my DPD dramas trying to return the saddle to them, and worked very quickly with me to reschedule the dpd pickup which ended up meaning they got it back well after the 5 days of the trial period!

Highly recommend if you've not got the disposable income available to just take a punt on any saddle without trialing it first! My horse and I are very happy now with our new-to-us saddle that fits us both!

Quick delivery, agreed to extend the trial period to 6 days because our saddler couldn’t make it within the 5 days (although this wasn’t needed because it fitted perfectly). Good price too!

I have followed this company for a few years on social media and love the content they create. It's so helpful and informative, they will definitely be my first choice when I need a new saddle.

Rubbish customer service! I entered my details to sell a saddle and was informed that I would receive a quote within 3 working days. When I didn’t, I emailed to inquire whether they had any record of my request and received a short, sarcastic reply telling me ‘yes, we do have over 200 valuations to get through’. Not great business to state a timeline that you are unable to meet and then reply in a sarcastic, unhelpful manner.

This is the third time I have used Saddles Direct, in my option they have certainly proved themselves to be a highly competent and professional company to do business with.

Claire was a pleasure to deal with. She was very informative and had a good selection of saddles. She was great around Thomas, nothing was too much for her. I highly recommend her and actually going to the shop for a fit. Many thanks, will definitely use again in the future.

From the courier pick up from home to the sale of both of our Fairfax saddles Saddles Direct have impressed. The process from start to finish has been efficient, and totally pain free !
They do all the hard work and gave the saddles the exposure to the market by fab ads and by their saddle fitting / trial opportunities.
