If I could give this firm zero stars I would. They lie and cheat - mis-selling the terms and conditions of their contract when initially luring you in with advantageous rates, but advising completely different Ts and Cs on the telephone from what the reality is. They then later point you to tiny fine print in your contract when you turn up with a lorry load of stuff - the terms of which had not been discussed on the telephone before you turn up; you having paid a removals company to move your things halfway across the UK and you have nowhere else to go. On arrival they tell you "not to worry" about the fine print when you query why the rate you were quoted changes after a few months. They simply hold you to ransom. You then find that their rate double after six months. You THEN find that they have also lied to you over and over about the vacate period and the billing Ts and Cs. 2 weeks' notice is not 2 weeks. It is SIX. SIX!!!!!!! This is an absolutely disgraceful organisation that I have had the sorry misfortune to deal with. DO NOT USE THIS ORGANISATION.

Friendly staff member who went by the name of stephen I think, helped me find my unit with ease. Would definitely recommend stockport central. Easy to use and helpful staff, 5 stars 🌟

Really disappointed with this place. They managed to capitalise when we were in a vulnerable position. We were stuck with them after our contractor had an injury. They used the situation to make the most money they could. When I rang up to vacate they didn't tell me that the date I had chosen would lead to me paying £367 for 2 days of October. I would have changed the date if I'd known. Their procedure for dealing with the complaint and the way they spoke to me were appalling. I would advise against using them.

Due to unforseen circumstances, we could not collect our stored items until a day later than agreed. The extra charge was £87. No flexibility or understanding of the changed situation. The system just charges.

I’m in between selling and buying a house so had to move all my worldly possessions in to storage. The Safestore team at Stockport made everything easy and stress free from the booking to turning up last Saturday to store. Many thanks to Sam Sarah and Harry!
