A professional company
The whole process of getting my new window installed by the Sash Window Workshop was excellent. Appointments were made quickly and were kept and communication was very good. The window is a success, it looks good and keeps the cold and the noise out. The installers were punctual, polite and worked conscientiously. I suffered absolute horrors with a previous window installer so I really appreciate how well this installation was carried out.

How to get a good view
We chose a local firm - it seemed wise as we had very large tall sash windows in a mid-Victorian house. Initially, the ground floor first and then many years later the upper floor. Very satisfied with the arrangements that entailed more than one fitting day.
Minor fitting adjustments on both occasions promptly rectified.

I have no hesitation in recommending…
I have no hesitation in recommending The Sash Windows Workshop. Their end-product is unbeatable as are their quality control and project management. Their staff are helpful, reliable, attentive to detail and get on with the job. On both occasions when I have used their services to provide replacement windows, they have left the rooms as clean as they found them. Last week they organised the scaffolders the day before the scheduled fitting and the removal of the scaffolding at 8 a.m. the day after. It all went like clockwork: no fuss, no broken roof tiles. We are delighted with the result.

Feels like "home"
My windows have just been installed and I wanted to say thank you to you all for doing a wonderful job.
I balked at the the price (and still do frankly – it was the most painful decision / money I’ve ever parted with in my life without question) BUT the result has been dramatic, almost life-changing. I now sleep better and the heating in my property is more regulated – it feels like more of a “home”.
Thank you for hosting me at your warehouse and explaining all the options available to me etc – I found that visit so helpful and I’m really glad I came.

I am extremely happy with the windows …
I am extremely happy with the windows installed. The quality is superb. Stav Stavrou the surveyor / salesman was straight forward and flexible. Time was spent discussing the product, the pro's and cons of selections without ever being pushy. The literature was also helpful For context I had 1980's Aluminium windows that were shoe horned into the existing sash frames removed and new double glazed sash's with acoustic glass fitted to the original frames. I was warned not to expect too much benefit from the acoustic performance and can say I have exactly what I was sold. I think this is important. There was no overselling just honest presentation of the product. I was contacted pro-actively during the install by Stav to get any open feedback. Small items I mentioned from day 1 were all resolved by the time I came home on day 2. I also made a mistake with the install date and wasn't there to let the installers in. This was totally my error when I reviewed and the company just took the error on the chin and re-arranged for the following two days. Something I am grateful for. When I look to do work at the rear of the house in the summer I will be contacting Stav. If I could offer any feedback on the process I think the installers could have been a little tidier in the front room on day 2, there were a number of muddy footprints despite the amount of protection I saw put down. The product and the overall service however was great with the price roughly half what some companies had quoted without Acoya and acoustic glass.

Every individual has been polite
Every individual has been polite, responsive and helpful, from the fitters to the admin team. We chose to have our stained glass made by a local company, and the arrangements were smooth in the liaison between the two.

Expensive but worth it
Expensive but worth it. The new double glazed sash window looks just like an original with its thin and elegant glazing bars. As it is filled with gas not just air, it is also warmer than the cheaper windows. There is excellent weather proofing around the edges as well.

Fantastic products and service
After reviewing the Sash Window Workshop against another, cheaper competitor we chose the former.
The quality of the work is fabulous and worth every penny. We have a lovely house, so why ruin it with an inferior product. The new French doors are simply everything we could hope for.
