toooo many ads it's driving me nuts. like too many!

This could be great but everytime you reopen the app you are bombarded with ads even if you’ve just watched some. SBS was once ad free but now this sours what could be a good experience

The amount of repetitive ads is one thing but the truly annoying part is the inconsistency of the delivery of the streaming service.
Constant stoppages and long pauses is incredibly frustrating.
Specifically for the Tour de France.
On most occasions I give up in sheer frustration and have to wait for the highlights the following day.
I applaud the commentary team, they are superb, but as already stated it is a great shame that continuity of the streaming service is poor.

On demand used to be my go to be my go to app. The best cont of them all imo. They've shot themselves in the foot now with the endless advertising and glitches in streaming. With about 10mins of ads every show it's painful to watch now. It's now the platform I go to as a last resort. Such a shame.

App is complete rubbish! Unstable and unreliable! Public broadcaster junk - no doubt the taxpayer paid millions for this

The app and station is utter crap...fullstop

Love the content but the app has so many glitches and is extremely frustrating to use. Usually the only to get back to your homepage is to turn the smart tv off at the wall and restart I don't know why this is because all other apps I use don't have this issue. I acknowledge SBS is underfunded and an excellent product but surely it's possible to make it more user friendly

SBS has frequent "ad breaks" which feature very few ads and lots of endlessly repeated trailers. Sadly this makes much of its content close to unwatchable. SBS on demand is also heavy on breaks, but by far its worst feature if that it moves you to another show a few minutes before the end of the one you are watching. You only get a few seconds to cancel this and I have not yet succeeded.
In short, lots of good content but presented in a way that seems determined to drive you away

Trying to watch the Eurovision. Ads way toooo long and toooo many. Obviously everyone is logged in to watch and their streaming services is not handling it well. Freezing every 2 mins. Absolutely disgusting. Pull your finger out SBS.

Can't sign up. They tell me my email is invalid. After reading reviews I'm not even going to bother finding out why.

SBS On Demand - What an abysmal waste of time. Almost impossible to navigate, understand, sign in or watch a movie! So complicted to use - its nothing more than an insult to any persons intelligence! What ever happened to the SBS of old?

I haven't watched SBS for several months due to the high add content. I went in today to watch a movie however I did not get to the movie 8 (EIGHT) adds in a row and I left the streaming app. Why do these companies have to be so greedy, why can't they learn that moderation brings more viewers. I can't understand how SBS and other streaming companies are allowed to get away with this. We pay for devices and internet so it is not so free. Really poorly done SBS.

Too hard to sign in to, I know I have an account but suddenly my Gmail address is not good enough. I cannot be bothered trying to navigate the reason why my simple email address is no longer acceptable. I'll move on to a much easier channel. Bye sbs

Is your only viewing audience and ad generating dollars (SBS on Demand) Targeting gamblers who are aLeo Indian nationals? Why is this the only Ad looping every 5 minutes? If we have to endure Ads then mix it up a bit!

SBS's, so-called, lead international reporter, Ben Lewis's coverage of what's happening in Iran, today, is almost - but not quite, as unbelievably bad, as his coverage of the previous US election, which led to what happened today, incidentally.
Is he just a paid-up member of all the left-leaning unions, and political parties, in Australia? Or does anyone actually think that him supporting the old Iranian regime, is a fair position for an independent international journalist to take in today's world?
Thousands of Christians - including many women, who just didn't believe they had to hide their hair, have been killed in this extremist regime. And thousands of new Australians - like me, know that's the sad reality of the world we live in today. How can he not know that?
I will never watch SBS news again - until he's removed.
ABC's equivalent reporter, Matt Doran, is the guy who is actually covering what's happening in that region with empathy, and with the facts.
So disappointing.

im going to highly recommend to everyone that SBS on demand is Not worth wasting your time on! YOU CANNOT WATCH ANYTHING ON THIS APP WITHOUT GETTING HAMMERED WITH ADVERTISING ADS EVERY FEW MINUTES!

I don't know what happened to sbs. They appear to have an obsession with ancient black and white nazi war movies and boring vampire movies.
