Appalling customer service I purchased…
Appalling customer service I purchased a plant stand it was delivered damaged, I telephoned and what sounded like an old lady answered the phone and said she would pass the message on, I complained to customer service twice sending photos of the damage and packaging and then still writing and asking for photos and description, I asked for a replacement but now it is out of stock!!! So was told a refund and havn’t received that either, I am disgusted with how this has been handled, if they had acted immediately I probably could have had a replacement, now not even a refund. Have since received a refund and replacement on order with a discount so closed in the end just took too long.

Poor service
Ordered two Bedding Bundles plus spare pillow cases. We received pillow cases and two duvets no sheets or pillow cases which were supposed to go with the bedding bundles.
Very poor service and now no idea when we will receive the balance of our order.

Advised order had been deivered - even got the delivery picture. But...the order is not complete and we're missing the bigger part - a set of shelves. No explanation from the company.

Absolutely shambolic company
Absolutely shambolic company, zero customer service! Only delivered half of order and won’t answer e mails! Stay away if you know what’s good for you…. I’ve lost £141 due to short delivery. Can’t leave no stars….. eventually got back and are sending the missing units!
No communication poor customer services
I ordered 2 Neostar Perma Therm Water Boiler and Dispenser @ £58.29 each happy with delivery but in less than a year one has gone wrong and I cannot contact Scotts of Stow either by email or telephone they do not reply to my emails and if I phone and click on general enquiries it plays music and then cuts you off tried many times. Poor to non existent communication I will not buy from them again and would advise against doing so what has happened to customer services?
Still awaiting refund
Disappointed in communication. Returned an item over 2 weeks ago by courier. No acknowledgement of receipt, no responses to my email and more importantly no refund!!! Wouldn’t use again. Very quick to take money 4 weeks before despatch but no sign of my refund.

Disappointing Customer Service!!
Placed an order on 13/13/24 for 2 men’s zip neck jumpers. Although the quality was very good the actual shape and sizing wasn’t appropriate so I returned the good at the start of January followed the return policy no problem. Very disappointed as I have NOT as yet received confirmation that they have received the goods and NO refund??!!!! I have sent an email regarding this and here we are STILL NO RESPONSE????!!!! I wish I had read the reviews before placing the order!!! Hopefully one would think a reply and a positive outcome will come from this review….watch this space!!
Muddled service
Ordered a clock which was slow to arrive, when it did it was the wrong colour. Returned it immediately but weeks later still no refund. They admit an error in processing but still refund slow. On Jan 6th refund arrived but not for the full amount. No explanation. Spent two mornings of one and a half hours on their telephone line option 3 for customer service but not answered. Thought I’d try a different option (1) and it worked as answered within minutes. Apparently cost of transit was deducted twice - another error. But why when they are responsible for sending the wrong colour. Very poor. Shall not use them again.

Ordered 5 drawer chest of drawers on 23rd October 2024. Confirmation email said it was to be dispatched on 29th October. No communication from them so emailed on 1st November. No response. Duly phoned them, on ridiculously priced 7p per minute phone line, to be told item was marked for despatch on 19th December! No surprise in agent's voice, apologised, offered to refund and cancel order. Wanted the item, so let it run, frustrated that we couldn't have it on original schedule.
Next communication was email bang on 19th December advising had been dispatched. Nobody's bothered to amend Scott's standard 'Confirmation' and 'Dispatch' emails that say it's being delivered by 'Hermes Tracked'. Hermes is now Evri, I believe. Next day ArrowXL text me to say they'll be delivering the unit and give me choice of days for two-man delivery. Arrow keep me fully informed from now on, confirming my choice, texting day before delivery, as promised, giving a two hour window for delivery the next day. On delivery day I got regular texts from Arrow on progress and could follow van on a map. Got phone call 30 minutes before arrival and item was delivered ahead of schedule.
Very happy with unit purchased, albeit late. However, poor marks for Scott's - and top marks for ArrowXL.
If considering purchase from Scott's again, I'd have to have firm assurance about availability and delivery. The 2 stars are for Scott's initial misleading delivery date and seeming lack of interest on my first enquiry.
Customer Service Abysmal. very disappointed.
I am sorry to say I would never order from Scots of Stow again. I ordered a Hartwell Armchair on the 23rd of November 2024 and I am still waiting for it. I have emailed and telephoned several times, but nobody seems to know what is going on regarding my order, twice they have promised to ring back and have not. Still, I await information regarding my order as I sent another email yesterday December 30th. I think the Customer Service of this site is abysmal. Be Warned.
as per sad gardener - lousy service
as per sad gardener: an item which was to be dispatched on 11 December has not been sent (they promise an email when it went out) and they have now not responded to 4 queries as to where it is. I have given them longer than usual because of the season. Had they sent me an email saying that there would be delay because e.g. '?flu had laid low the sales department', or whatever, then fair enough. But NO communication. Very poor service. I won't use them again. I note they don't repsond to negative reviews.

I ordered 2 items as Christmas gifts at the start of December. Only one arrived. I dutifully waited until 7 business days had passed (their website says they supply within 7 business days and may send items in the same order separately) and chased up on 12 December by email. I received an automated reply indicating I could expect a proper response within 48 hours. Guess what - 4 days later there’s been no response and still no sign of the missing item. I despair of receiving it in time for Christmas. Very poor customer service. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Can't get them to stop sending catalogues. Only bought from them once, never again.
