After half a day of fighting with transactions failing left and right due to "Security Policy" errors, and a call with customer service, I realized that their prepaid visa cards were practically useless in any popular online store due to some sort of limitations that I still to this moment don't understand. Something about how your card doesn't have any billing info on it since it isn't connected with any banks or whatnot. Finally, after scouting the Internet, I found a store that actually accepted my card. In short, don't buy this if you plan on using it for any major online store. You'll just end up with a headache. I can confirm, however, that the card functioned and I have successfully made a payment with it.

The SecureSpend website has no option to add or update your name and location. Without a name and location associated with the gift card, the card may be rejected. There is no customer service. None! You can't talk to a person. There is no option to explain what the problem is. As far as I'm concerned this company is basically a scam operation.

This card sucks, it won't work anywhere. I'm going to report these people to the Florida attorney general.

Purchased a secure spend gift card on 9/3/26. Went to activate it and had to call customer service. I was told funds weren’t available. I had to email my receipt, front and back of card purchased plus the package it came in. Just checked my claim and it shows all documents received however estimated resolution is 10/15/26. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!

Do not purchase. I have bought two and put 150 and 200. Each time they locked my card for suspicious activity. I contacted and told them I made all transactions and they refused to unlock. The worst card I have ever used and customer service was very rude.

there are the worst and the customers service to every time i buyd it ti they locked it when i tried to activate it trough their site and i have to wait for that bisa again for 2 3 weeks of 60 dollars that i mede now for urgent the stupidest comapny and the worst i recomend dont buy them at any cost there worst of any kind

worst experience ever had, these bi**ches dont respond, i got the gift card from one pharmacy to give someone as a small gesture( the person refused), so i intent to use for myself. once i opended and activated, it was showing error every where, when i tried to check balance in their website it was error as well, i contacted helpline they said we need proofs and send us documents( reciept, physical card and packing all that), they said issue will be resolved in 3-5 days, i had to travel back to my home country as i have informed them before travelling, now they are not responding my emails, i now contacted with pharmacy from international number they said they cant do anything, this company should be closed as they are just doing frauds, like already their rating is 1.2 and all the people have suffered the same issue.

Received several SecureSpend cards as gift cards. Problems arose immediately: when you try to check the balance you receive a message: "A system error has occurred. Please try again later." You get this error when you are trying to activate the card. And multiple attempts to activate the card will also fail. If your intention was to use this card in an emergency, you will find yourself in dire straits. The people behind this card are obviously shysters. They should be prosecuted.

This company is a joke they do what they want cancel your card if you try using on Temu or any other app for that matter. The customer service is anything but that and subcontracted out to some 3rd world country where you can't even understand their terribly spoken English. Yet they're supposedly somewhere in Georgia here in the U.S. Never again will I purchase any form of card from securespend

Unfortunately, I purchased two (2) Secure Spend debit cards and am unable to use them for online purchasing. Secure Spend is not secure at all. I would like a refund.

Honestly I truly wish I could put negative Stars because that is how bad my experience has been with this company. I had a $500 gift card and there was $391 of charges that we did not make in fact we used the card one time and then we have no idea how anyone would have even gotten our card numbers but apparently they did and emptied the card. We tried to go online for about 3 days to look at the charges and try to figure out our next steps and all that and every time we put all of our information in and got to the end the website would say there was some sort of error and to try again later. So the next step was to start calling because we just wanted to know who's the company was that the money went to so that we could contact them personally and straighten it out which is what we would usually do. So it took about a week to finally get a customer service representative on the phone to speak to and then they give us the name of a company that we could not find anywhere online. So then they tell us we have to call back again cuz it had to be a certain amount of days before we could open up investigation. so we called back and we were told it could take 45 to 90 days to get it settled and in the meantime I called at least twice a month up until the last few weeks and we called once a week. Each time they said that they were just waiting for the funds to be reimbursed and then they would be mailing us a new card but that we should be getting at $391 back. Well we just got the new card a couple days ago and it was $20. And we have called several times trying to find out what happened trying to get the name of an information of the company that actually had the $371 charge, but we have gotten no help whatsoever, we have been given the runaround and basically we have been hung up on each time when we try to speak to a supervisor or anything like that. So, I know that we are not just dropping this as of yet. I don't know what our next steps are. But I am just wanting to warn any and everybody that even looks in the direction of one of these cards, which we happen to buy at Dollar General, so we assumed it was a company we could Trust. But be sure to never ever use this company, SecureSpend prepaid gift cards. And if you are any kind of store or company or something that is selling this to your customers then you need to know that they are just basically robbing your customers and these cards should be taken off the shelf immediately. And I have never been more serious.

I bought a Master card gift but cannot activate card because neither the website or customer service number seem to be active. They got the money, and I got a useless piece of plastic

I purchased 2 cards one with $300 and the other with $500 and I activated them and than I went to the giant an hour later and got 2 money orders I had no problems with these cards

If there was any minus infinity that is what it would be. They have no idea of the customer care. All their representatives seems to be infants sitting and resolving issues that can’t fathom to understand. Don’t believe any rAnd any representative whatever they say. Because whatever they say will not see fruition . You willl keep doing the same thing over and over again and yet they will not budge or do anything. They are trained to say sorry and I understand. That’s all .
