Stay away from this company. They failed to deliver an order that they can't even source and after months of emails they still haven't refunded me. A total scam and fraudulent company.

Avoid - They take orders for items they cannot supply and promise refunds but the money never arrives. Steeling from trusting customers.

On 30th June order placed and paid for after no info that item was not in stock. July 27th order cancelled and refund requested as I was being told that it was not in stock and info was always that it was expected in the next 7 days.
Three requests so far for the refund which is always passed to accounts.
Info about these financial parasites now with trading standards. if you are affected consider doing the same.

Save yourself a lot of hassle and get your equipment from somewhere else. Items not showing as out of stock when ordered but a few days after I placed the order was told all items are out of stock and they could not give me a supply date.
I cancelled the order and was told I would be refunded.
They do not respond to emails to encourage you to ring the customer service line which happens to be a premium rate 0844 number so far it has cost me around £20.
Have been promised a refund by Becky & Lisa but still no sign of it after 6 weeks.
Have just filed a claim with my credit card company to try and get the refund.

We ordered some products 1.5 months ago. We made the payment. After that they said they don't have the products in stock. We cancelled the order and asked for a refund. They cancelled the order and since then we are waiting for a refund. In every call, they say 3 days, they say 1 will, tomorrow, they say they paid, it will reflect in the accounts in 3 days, etc.

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!
Trustpilot needs to start creating a no star section for companies like this, because giving them one star is misleading. I give myself no stars for even ordering from this company because I didn't do any research or check them out beforehand.

Placed an order for some new detection sensors for the house. Firstly, I received no order confirmation at all! 5-days later they emailed to say they didn't have these in stock and where awaiting further supplies from the manufacturer, no date given. 17-days after ordering I had to chase progress and got the same sob story that they are awaiting supplies, at which point I cancelled the order and requested a refund which was promised within a few days. Contacted them again a week later chasing the refund and got the same story - "sorry we will process the refund in the next couple of days" - at the time of writing no monies have materialised!

Alarm bells started to ring and I began what I should of done before placing the order - check their reviews on Trustpilot and Google - there you will find the same comments and experiences. Further research shows that they operate from a corner shop in a residential area in the middle of Birmingham - not a warehouse at all, as there name implies and finally the only way of trying to speak to them is to use a premium rate 0800 number - which says everything really.

If placing an order with these guys - I wish you the best of luck.

Ordered plastic brackets for sensors. Delivery was expensive but needed the parts quickly and they arrived in 48hours well packaged and as detailed.

I ordered online four relays and made a mistake about the type.

I wanted to return them and pay any difference and additional carriage but they seem blighted by the modern method of not wanting to talk to anyone and had to send an e mai to open " Ticket" in which I described my mistake and asked for them to be changed out, 36 hrs later, no response whatsoever.

Would not deal with this company ever again.

Placed a order and advised a couple of items were not in stock. Big mistake to say ship when complete. 6 month later still waiting. Not a easy company to contact just a expensive 0844 number and a ticket system that does not work. Pity you cannot give minus stars!!

This was my first experience using Security Warehouse and unfortunately it was disappointing.

I ordered several Texecom alarm components which appeared to be in stock on the website, however after placing the order I was informed the items were actually on back order and no firm delivery date could be provided.

After waiting several weeks without any confirmed dispatch date, I decided to cancel the order. The order status has since been updated to “Cancelled”, however at the time of writing I am still awaiting the refund and have had to chase this with customer services/accounts.

Communication has generally been polite, but stock accuracy, delivery expectations and refund processing could be improved.

First time using security warehouse but won’t be the last. Decent communication and great delivery

Perfect, couldn't get the kit anywhere else and so fast.

Used Security Warehouse in the past without issue. However most recent order was held due to items becoming out of stock, this was regardless of the items showing in stock on the website.
After 3 months I had to cancel the order and chase a bit to finally receive my refund.

A shockingly bad experience returning two faulty smoke detectors.

It took Security Warehouse more than three months to claim that a returns parcel hadn't arrived, by which time it was too late to claim compo from Royal Mail who had subsequently lost it on the way back to me

From the tracking I could see that Royal Mail tried to deliver to Security Warehouse on two successive days in October but reported as there being no answer on the 20th, and the address being inaccessible on 21st.

Royal Mail 'carded' Security Warehouse to arrange re-delivery or collection, but they apparently couldn't be bothered so arranged neither, consequently the parcel was returned to the Royal Mail National Returns Centre but sadly it was never returned to me.

Despite repeated hasteners from me waiting for my refund, Security Warehouse didn't bother to tell me of the loss of the parcel until early January, but having exceeded the 80 day claim limit it is now not possible to seek any redress with Royal Mail.

I'm giving Security Warehouse a few more days and then if I still haven't received my refund I'll raise a claim in the County Court using Money Claim On Line. I wonder whether Security Warehouse will be open to receive the Court Papers...?

Edited to add:
I have carefully checked the Order Confirmation email relating to order number 96675 and there are no Ts and Cs either included or attached, so unfortunately the Security Warehouse defence fails at the first hurdle.

As for their claim that I hadn't indicated whether I was seeking refund or replacement, I told them in a message on 22/01/2026 at 6:59 pm that I was seeking either a refund or a credit note. The choice was theirs, but they probably didn't receive that either....

If you're thinking of buying from Security Warehouse, then hopefully you'll read this and look elsewhere...

Still waiting for goods after paying for 2-3 day postage

I returned an item to this company who advised me they had received the item back and were processing a refund. This was 5 months ago. I have chased them over and over again, they just keep telling me a refund is being issued. Avoid this company.
