Frustrating that the lights need recharge too often,
I've had a set of Ace lights for a little while. They are great when on the bike (I don't use the app) but it is really frustrating that the charge runs down quite quickly even when the lights are not being used. I have to always make sure I charge in the daytime if I need for the evening. I have other much cheaper lights (albeit not as bright) that have hardly ever needed charging.
Poor customer service.
I have both a Beam front light and an Ace rear light. The beam is a fantastic light, very bright and secure mounting system. The ace rear light, though bright has probably the worst mounting system I’ve ever seen on a light, including the loop clip. I hit a very minor bump in the road and the whole clip flew out of the loop on my saddle bag and was the light was flung into the verge by the car behind me. Despite the light still functioning the casing is now cracked. The customer service reply was very disappointing and blamed me of not securing the light properly. I have had several rear lights from different manufacturers, both cheap ones from Amazon and better quality from Cateye, all of which I’ve clipped to my saddle bag without issue. If you want to take a chance with their poor customer service go ahead but I won’t be spending good money on them again, even on a ‘low cost’ replacement if it’s non functioning.

Lots of potential but bad customer service for people that have lights fall off
I think there needs to be a lot of work going into the app and customer service. It's no surprise the Icon3 now has a twist-lock attachment, because within the first week my rear light fell off after checking countless times it was on properly. I contacted the customer service and they never even replied to me. I think they should admit the fault of the old mount and at least offer people a reduced offer to upgrade their old lights. The app's functionality is promising but it has trouble staying in the background of iOS, I think this could be why people aren't receiving crash notifications, because the app has closed in the background. Advertising a life-saving feature and not making it robust is dangerous. Additionally, I question whether the metrics on the app are accurate if this is true.
The light itself works well and I do notice more respect from drivers. I really want this company to do well but I think there are so many of us out there that bought your expensive product and had it fail or fall off. What other lights fall off on a bumpy road?

I have sent to see.sense the email with the following content:
"Hi
I would like to know what is happening with the SEE.SENSE AIR item that I ordered from you. On 09/04/2021 I received a parcel with front lighting (See.Sense BEAM +). It's been so long and I still haven't received SeeSense AIR. Can you explain that?
In the attachment I am sending a photocopy of the contents of the package and the invoice.

Unfortunately, the ordered item has not arrived until today. They offered me a refund. But did I buy something to get money after 9 months? Alix Is this some kind of joke? They still sell this item as a pre-order but named not see.sense AIR - changed their name to see.sense KNOWNWERE. It is neither a good nor an honest company. I do not recommend ! ! !

Crash alert system is not reliable,
I love the lights for the battery life, mounting options, and the ability to change brightness, or flash mode. the problem I have is with the crash detection facility of these lights. I have been involved in 3 crashes with these lights enabled that involved injury, and on none of these occasions, has the system sent out a crash alert. Contacting See Sense, I just get questions and suggestions to reinstall the app, how was the light mounted, what phone system I am using, where was the phone at the time. I have lost all faith in these lights doing the job that I purchased them for. There are plenty of cheaper rechargeable light out there if that was all I wanted.
Good product let down by design flaw and customer service
Initially I was very pleased with the product (Ace rear light) the app was very good and I loved the safety features of the bike. However…. Like most other people on here it would seem the lights aren’t perfect yet. After a down pour the light was working fine. Rode to work the next day & left my bike, the light was doing its thing. I go to leave work and nothing, no connectivity not turning on with the app or button. I get home and put it on charge to see if it’s run out of charge (unlikely I thought as it normally lasted a long time) charging indicator came on like normal, then I noticed the dreaded condensation!
I sent a ticket to the customer service team who took roughly 2 days to respond basically telling me off for putting the light on charge when there was condensation present. Eventually got them to send a replacement out, however the replacement doesn’t connect to my phone. I’ve tried other see sense lights and they connect fine. Had to email customer service again but as yet I’m still waiting for a reply. Disappointing really as like I said could be a great product.
My only concern is I recommend them to other people, hopefully they don’t have to go through this rigmarole, can’t say I’d be recommending them any more.

See.Sense lights…
Brought a set of See.Sense lights second hand but brand new in a sealed box. Only did three rides and the rear light has stopped working. Now going through the email rigmarole of who brought the lights to validate the warranty. See.Sense theses are your lights as I proved to you with photographic evidence. Expensive lights that have a 46 percent bad reviews. Think you need to stop taking hard earned cash for let’s face it poor quality. Just like to add these are useless in the wet as they take in water. I’ll keep you updated as to the email trail. Hold your hands up See.Sense and replace these units.

Great customer service but unreliable product
On my first ride the rear light fell off (along with the bag clip supplied with the light). Customer service was responsive and replaced at a reduced cost.
The front light then stopped working after a firmware update. Customer service were again responsive and replaced the light under warranty.
The second rear light is now not working and appears to have water inside.

Compelled to rate you poorly
Compelled to rate you poorly as you're asking me to review my purchase before you've delivered it. this may be an automated process, but surely to avoid antagonizing a customer or making them wonder if the delivery has been intercepted, surely you should wait until the Delivery and whole experience can be commented or rated against.

Light Lets Water In
Have a SeeSence ICON however everytime I get caught in bad weather the light lets water in which ultimately frys the internal circuits. Each time I have sent it back and have received a new ICON in replacement. I am on my fifth at this stage however it suffered the same fate at the weekend on contacting SeeSence who advised I am now outside the 2 year warranty and nothing more can be done. From my experience my advice to anyone is not to buy the light as there is a design fault in the outer casing and if you have one already and experience similar problems ask for a refund initially rather than accepting replacements.

So this is a review after 2 years of…
So this is a review after 2 years of owning the SeeSense ACE lights. I can tell you I’ve used the lights maybe 30 times on rides and consistently after a big ride (60-70 miles, of which I have done 8-10) these lights have a tendency to just stop working, or lose connectivity to the app.
My latest fiasco has left me with lights I cannot use as the firmware update failed to load on the rear light so now it doesn’t even power up, and there’s no hard reset.
So I write to SeeSense who say “ It may take a few reinstallations to allow the firmware update to complete. My apologies for the inconvenience!”
Great - I’ll just keep installing and uninstalling the app, which by the way is not the actual problem.
My advise to anyone reading this is - go buy some Knog lights, they’ll cost you more but they might actually work.

Top customer service
Pre ordered a handlebar bag and it arrived a month or so later and was very impressed with the cost and quality.
Unfortunately, the zip broke so I contacted see.sense via Instagram and within 5 mins was told that they'd send out a replacement with no questions asked. Absolute top customer service and highly recommended.
Got a light on pre order with them arriving in December 👍
Don’t buy from them, customer service is very poor.
I ordered and prepaid on the 26th June 2020 for a bar bag which I was due to receive in late August. I have emailed them on two occasions for a update and received no response. I have today visited their website (18th August 2020) to learn that uptake has not been what they expected, they haven’t yet placed their order with their suppliers and my order will not be filled untill the end of September 2020. To say that I am disappointed is a understatement and clearly they are not upto much as company to do business with. My advice would be don’t buy from them!

Good lights long lasting power
Good lights long lasting power. But saddle bag clip useless rear light fell of once but stupid me put back on saddle bag. Got home and light had disappeared. Waste of money that's why I would not buy again.

If only every company was as good as see sense
I have owned two see sense lights for a year or two, the rear unfortunately stopped charging so I contacted see see sense regarding a repair being carried out. I posted the light back to them in Ireland and within a couple of days had a new light delivered to my home....
I was very impressed with every stage of the procedure, every email was answered very quickly and professionally .....see sense are a very caring company and should be commended on the way they run there business .....thanks once again see sense 👍😁
Very impressive customer service
I was bought a set of lights from this company last Christmas as a present and have used them regularly throughout the last year. The lights themselves seem to be very good and have lots of features like phone apps, crash alerts and adaptive lighting depending on surroundings. To be honest i probably haven't used them to their fullest as I've tended just to turn them on, cycle and let them do their own thing i.e keep me visible and safe on the roads, something they've done without hitch for just over a year.
However 2 days ago my rear light started behaving erratically and stopped responding to button presses etc. I emailed the company to ask for advice and immediately received an automated response and then a follow up email from an engineer the following morning first thing to ask about the fault i had reported. So far that is as far as the exchange has gone but its a case of so far so good as far as i'm concerned. I will update this review as things progress.
Update 24/1/19 - the light has been returned to the see.sense for repair. It did in fact start to return to something resembling normal working behaviour prior to being sent but their engineer agreed that it should still be returned to them for a free service given its recent faulty behaviour. So far I am very impressed with their customer service, replies have been very quick, positive and helpful.
Update 30/1/19 - The light was returned to me today in the post working 100%. To be perfectly honest I’m not sure if they’ve sent me a brand me light or if they’ve done a superb job of cleaning and replacing components. The fact that I can’t be totally sure should tell you the “as new” condition of the light. As you can probably tell I’m very impressed with see.senses customer service, great communication, service and a turn around time of less than a week (including postage!) is really excellent. I’d definitely highly recommend them and their lights.
Update 03/06/19 - The above repair job unfortunately didn’t last. Being a fair weather cyclist the first time after the return of the light that I got badly caught out in a rain storm and thus tested it properly was last month and although the light stayed on for the duration of the cycle two days later when I went to use it again it was dead. Subsequent charges resulted in a temperamental light that refused to turn off etc. I contacted see.sense again and after a bit of back and forth they asked me if I’d accept a new ‘ace’ light which I’ve just received today. Hopefully this one lasts a little better in the good old Northern Ireland, four seasons in a day, weather that we have. The company are still very easy to deal with and although I’ve had ongoing problems I think they’ve done a really good job of resolving them.
