I’m genuinely grateful for the care and professionalism I experienced during my autism assessment with SEIK.
After waiting seven years on NHS lists, I came into the process feeling understandably cautious. From the beginning, however, I felt met with warmth, respect and kindness.
Costa created a calm, safe space where I felt truly seen and heard, and I appreciated the thoughtful way my partner was included. Dr Eleanor Akaho was thorough, measured and professional, and the final report reflects my lived experience with accuracy and dignity.
In the past, I have sometimes felt minimised when raising questions about autism. This experience was different. I felt listened to, taken seriously and treated with care.
I would not hesitate to recommend SEIK to anyone seeking an adult autism assessment.

I self referred for an adult ASD assessment and from start to finish SEIK have been amazing. The initial phone call is really informative and there's no pressure to book an assessment. The journey itself is incredibly supportive, the team respond really quickly to any questions I had and were so reassuring and supportive. The assessments themselves are broken into two appointments and this is after filling out online questionnaires. Both of my assessors Costa and Eleanor were lovely. They made me feel at ease and they're very gentle. I felt very supported and heard from start to finish. It took me a long time to pluck up the courage to make the phone call and explore the possibility of getting an ASD diagnosis, and I am so glad I chose SEIK. I have previously commented on the assessment process of this excellent service. I can now also comment on the end point following receipt of my reports. Both psychological and psychiatric reports were detailed and covered every aspect of my assessment. This service also provided a cover letter, if you don't want to share the full report you csn use the cover letter only which clearly states diagnosis.

SEIK have provided excellent service from start to finish. A thorough assessment process and regular reminders to follow up on required actions. Every interaction with their colleagues by email and video call has been fantastic, their customer service cannot be faulted. I would (and have!) recommend SEIK for anyone seeking private neurodivergent assessments and treatment.

From start to finish the process was clear and we were well supported as we had an ASD assessment for our young daughter.

Excellent from start to finish for ADHD assessment and titration. Really responsive admin and the assessment and titration was also very fast and smooth. Very reasonably priced as they are a non profit company.

Speedy responses to emails and lovely staff

I was recommended SEIK psychiatry by my therapist, and I would recommend them 100%. Firstly, I think it’s great that SEIK psychiatry are not-for-profit, and they provide a very competitive fee compared to private companies. They were very supportive and helpful throughout the process, and great at communicating.

Both the psychologist and psychiatrist involved in the ADHD assessment were very professional and great listeners. I’m really glad I chose them to do my assessment.

Seik has changed my life, it was a fast, accurate and detailed diagnosis. I was diagnosed with ADHD and have received an amazing amount of support and advice which has helped me to peruse my future in dentistry. I would definitely recommend!

Overall, my experience has been really good. Email communications are helpful, especially the reminders regarding booking a review appointment and submitting the health data required for those appointments.

The staff and doctors that I dealt with throughout this process, from my first assessment to now, have always been professional and friendly but also really lovely and kind. Everything is explained and questions are always answered. The reports are detailed and understandable.

The use of the portal definitely made things easier (I intially started my journey with SEIK when the portal was not up and running yet).

The fees charged are also reasonable and despite being much cheaper than most private clinics, the service is exceeds that of those clinics based on what I have heard from other people's experiences.

I had contact with Jess from the onboarding team when exploring if this was the correct service for me to engage with for an ADHD assessment.

Jess was outstanding, she was easy to talk to and made efforts to answer all of my queries fully and in a timely manner. I felt heard with Jess and felt safe, she is a real asset to SEIK.

I found SEIK Psyhchiatry to be incredibly quick and efficient, from start to finish, engagement was clear and I understood all the steps through to diagnosis, support following this was clear and helpful. In addition this was the most affordable ASD Diagnosis services around.

The process was seemless, fast and well communicated. I knew exactly what to expect and the professionals were friendly and understanding. Best option for private ADHD assessment.

After a long time waiting via the NHS (even with Right to Choose pathway), I opted to go completely private for an assessment instead. I trawled through so many providers - but SEIK stood out as much more affordable than most, with a robust assessment process kickstarting within weeks of getting in touch.

Once diagnosed, you do need to book a few weeks ahead for each titration appointment, but the team were very helpful and friendly, and are on hand to answer all questions.

If you go for medication: the pharmacy linked to SEIK changed recently - but I've still had a very good experience getting my prescription quickly. Some of the ADHD meds are very expensive but I saw conscious efforts from SEIK to find the most cost-effective providers for patients.

I have just had my Shared Care Agreement signed with my NHS GP who were satisfied with the reports received from SEIK (they have the right of refusal so this is a huge relief).

After years of trying to get an assessment and treatment plan in place, I'm so pleased this is finally sorted and recognised by my GP (I can now access much more affordable NHS prescriptions which is a real life line!).

I have had two experiences with SEIK Psychiatry - both of which were very positive. The first time was as a family member during my sibling's (child) ADHD assessment and the second time as a patient myself seeking an (adult) autism assessment. Despite financial constraints and doubts, I took a leap of faith when I was searching for a suitable assessment provider for my brother. The fact that they were not-for-profit and were neurodivergent-led initially drew me in. And indeed, after having gone through the assessment process twice, from different perspectives, I am really appreciative of how inclusive and neurodivergent-friendly all the processes and assessment parts felt; it was clear to me that each step of the way had been designed with ND people in mind.

Everything from the onboarding process to the video-call assessments and the final conclusion report was thorough and efficient. All the staff, including the admin team and the specialists, were empathetic and keen to explain each step of the process and what to expect next. My parents, who were involved in both mine and my brother's assessments, were not initially very knowledgeable about mental health and so, I would like to especially thank Dr Kavita Praveen for going out of her way to help my parents understand the questions, key terms, and concepts by rephrasing sentences and communicating in Hindi not just once, but twice. I also felt that both specialists in my assessment were very aware of the nuances that come from gender and culture which is a strong part of my identity and very important to me.

Thanks to SEIK psychiatry, I feel that I can now better understand myself. Although I am still processing my diagnosis and waiting for my final report, I can gradually implement lifestyle changes to adjust to my needs. I am also very happy seeing my brother's overall self-esteem and stress improve regarding his school life, after having gained the necessary exam and class adjustments. He even recently got an A in one of his sociology papers! Him doing well has also made my parents realise that he has always been a bright kid who just needed some extra support and I feel that my parents' newfound understanding of our behaviours has better improved our family dynamic.

I have shared my positive experiences with my best friends and cousin, and recommended SEIK Psychiatry to one of my friends who is interested in seeking an AuDHD assessment in the near future.
