My experience was great. I bought a XL item and didn't super love the fit and sent a exchange request quickly for a XXL just in case it sold out. Then I tried on the XL again and actually super loved the fit. it was my mistake but the XXL was already on the way. Also to super complicate things I'm leaving the country on 4/20 and my exchange package got held up. Customer Service quickly emailed DHL fixed the issue and it's getting delivered today, explained I want the XL instead of the XXL they said no biggie and just return what I didn't want. Everything will be resolved in a timely manner. Customer service went above and beyond and was super great. Thank you mystery angel -klr

La robe est exactement conforme à la photo, rien à redire sur ce point. La livraison (via DHL) a également été rapide : commandée le lundi, je l’ai reçue le vendredi de la même semaine.

Cependant, j’ai dû payer 128€ de frais de douane, ce qui n’était pas forcément anticipé et alourdit considérablement le prix final.

Concernant la robe en elle-même, le design est légèrement court, mais ce n’est pas le vrai problème. Ce qui m’a surtout déçue, c’est l’expérience globale à la réception. Vu le prix et l’image assez prestigieuse de la marque, je m’attendais à un minimum de soin dans le packaging. Au lieu de cela, le colis ressemblait à un envoi type fast fashion (style Shein), sans aucun effort pour refléter l’univers de la marque.

C’est assez désenchantant compte tenu du positionnement et du prix, et je trouve ça presque honteux de ne pas proposer une expérience client à la hauteur

I really wanted to love this product, and the company. I love the idea behind, and wanted to support. I'm sure it works well for some hair, but my thick curly hair, not so. On Feb 10th I emailed to ask to cancel my subscription. No reply. I was sent out another set. I emailed again on April 7th. No reply, and yet another subscription on its way! GAH! I have emailed again today. Perhaps I've just been unlucky but I'm hoping they might reply to me once they see my review. I am not one to write reviews....BUT....when subscriptions go wrong, and money is taken, it does get my back up.

Absolutely amazing customer service !
Had a small mishap where I had to cancel my order, quickest response I have ever seen from a CS !
Everything was settled very quickly and I felt so reassured.
Then I got offered help for choosing the right size for my gown, which I was quite concerned about considering previous experiences with online shopping and a tight schedule before the event I was shopping for.
I was given very clear and extensive information about the sizing in general and the sizes of specific dresses I was interested in.
All exchanges were very kind and helpful, on top of being fast. I even emailed the customer service on a Saturday and received an automatic response informing me that it may take a while to hear back from them but then got an actual response a few minutes later.
They definitely made me at ease with the whole process and made me value the brand even more.
Definitely look forward to purchasing from Selkie again, as I know I will get all the help I may need and in a very considerate manner.

After having absolutely no luck with a wedding dress in stores, I bit the bullet and ordered the Ivory Queen of Angels gown. A big risk with my wedding so soon but I was hoping for a high reward after being so unlucky.

Delivery to the UK: was shipped and delivered in the time frame suggested online. This is why I gave them 2 stars.

Quality: incredibly poor for the price, the back of the dress is see through. There is an odd number of bustle loops, for the amount of bustle buttons. A bustle loop also arrived broken. I have recieved better quality items from Shein for a tenth of the price..

Customer service: non-existent, I have sent several emails from ordering to post delivery and have not recieved a single response.

I would never recommend anyone from overseas order from Selkie. It might be different if you can go into their store, but online my experience has been shocking. It just added to the awful experience I have had shopping for a wedding dress.
