I don't normally write reviews, but based on the very negative experience i have had marketing my property with Sell Well, i thought i would write this to make future sellers aware of what to expect.

The only positives i can say for Sell Well, were the video tour they do as part of the online marketing and their fees are lower than their competition.

in terms of the negatives, there are many.

Poor communication throughout - This includes a lack of feedback post viewings. I often only received feedback after i chased them.

No single point of contact for my property meaning i got different information on viewings and offers depending on who i spoke to.

No contact to inform me a viewing was cancelled. I only found out when i rang them.

On a separate occasion I was told a viewing was cancelled. Later that afternoon, I received an alert from my house alarm that someone had entered my property. At the time I was away on holiday, so was quite concerned at this message. On checking the alarm system, I saw it was your agent conducting the 'cancelled' viewing.

Sell Well provided feedback on a viewing that never took place - A viewing was booked to take place and i received some feedback that 'the property wasn't suitable, but the viewer wouldn't say why. Something didn't feel right with the feedback, so i checked the security footage at my property. On checking the footage, the agent can be seen arriving where she remained for 20 mins and then left. No viewer arrived. Rather than saying it was a 'no show' Sell Well gave me feedback that was made up.

The average time to book viewings in was over 10 days from a viewing being requested to taking place. Compared to other estate agents, this is significantly longer. I am not sure why viewings take so long to take place, but i do not think this helps sell the property.

Offers put forward with no knowledge of the sellers actual position. 1st offer i received was from someone who's house had only just gone on the market. While i was happy with their offer i did not initially know their position. After 2 months they still couldn't proceed. 2nd offer was from an individual who didn't have an agreement in principle, was looking to buy my house as a second property and wasn't aware of the extra stamp duty he would have to pay. After speaking to a financial advisor, he had to with draw the offer as he couldn't afford it. Even worse though, was the fact Sell Well allowed him to offer on my property and another property at the same time. While they have to put offers forward, i wasn't initially told he was offering on 2 of their properties.

Due to the poor service I received i cancelled my contract with Sell Well (after their 16 week sole agency agreement) and have moved to another agent. Within 24 hours of it going live with the other agent i had viewing request, which they booked in for 3 days later. So a stark improvement compared to Sell Well.

I feel like i have wasted the last 4 month with Sell Well and based on my experience, i would not recommend them to anyone.

Perfect from start to finish. We had 3 valuations but Sellwell came across really professionsal and offered us a great deal. Karen come out to value and photograph/video our home and we achieved our asking price. The for sale board went up straight away and once sold (which was the day after) the under offer board went up. I dealt with Claire in the office who regularly called to offer advice and keep us updated.

Overall great experience working with Sell Well. I was buying a property through them and it took over a year to finalise, through no-ones fault but legal matters. I was assisted through the process by Claire who was friendly and professional from start to finish. Always on hand to give me updates on the progress of the sale and explain anything I wasn't sure about as a first time buyer. We finally got there! Thanks again for all your help, support and patience Claire & the Sell Well team.

I sold with another agent but bought with SellWell and they have been fantastic through the process, keeping us updated at every step. Tia is a credit to their team and has always helped me, even with my stupid questions. My only regret is not using them for the sale! I would recommend them to anyone selling.

Sell well have a very professional team. From the very start of valuation to completion the team worked hard with many viewings and kept me up to date with regular feedback and updates. Once a sale had been agreed, Claire took over and guided me through every step. Claire was really helpful, professional, polite and friendly, making it easier for me. I would definitely recommend Sell Well.

Julie amazing, helped us get what we wanted, from first viewing very friendly, advised us on what you look for, although first properties weren’t what we wanted, she helped us find what suited our needs, thank you Julie you are brilliant at your job. 5 stars 10/10

I contacted this agent having seen online a property they were marketing. They offered me an appointment to view within a very reasonable time and communicated by text message to confirm the appointment. On the day of the viewing the agent was early to the property and offered me the opportunity to bring my appointment forward. At the viewing the agent, Julie, was both friendly and professional, not something easy to achieve. She was prepared to answer my questions and had ready to hand information about the property. Well Done Julie and SellWell.

Sell Well were excellent in the sale of my property. Rebecca Mason was my point of contact and took the lead in selling and she did everything she could to make the sale go through quickly. She was always available to help answer any questions I had. I would strongly recommend using Sell Well if you are thinking of selling your house.

Great experience with Claire at Sell Well. We lost our first sale, however Claire kept me feeling positive and optimistic when I was feeling frustrated. Chased and provided regular updates. Couldn’t have asked for better service.
