First ever experience of club fitting…
First ever experience of club fitting and couldnt be more impressed. Scott Fraser explained the whole process, showed great patience throughout but also took time to explain the "techie" stuff and what the process hoped to achieve. Ive come away with a beautiful set of Mizuno irons (turn over from fitting to pick up was only 7 days) so now cant wait to get out on the course.
They also gave me a great deal on a trade in of old irons so really cant praise them enough.
Great set up that allows you to concentrate only on hitting shots with no distractions.
Would highly recommend for all parts of anyones game.

Having recently been fitted for Driver and irons I had a final fitting for 3 wood and utility clubs with Ross yesterday.

Full bag replacement!!
I chose SGGT in the past to fit my son for a Driver and Hybrid & decided to return myself earlier this year to replace a full bag of ageing clubs. My journey started in the February and By the June the whole bag was replaced, including the putter. I went in to each fitting with zero brand loyalty as wanted the clubs best suited to my game and boy have the worked. My handicap was 14.0 in April and as of August I am currently 10.1 - Special mention for Scott Fraser who fitted me for Mizuno Irons & TM Stealth 2 Driver, woods and hybrid and James who completed my Putter fitting for an Evnroll EV12.

Driver Fitting - Ross Leeds
Can’t express how good an experience I had at SGGT this was for a Driver fitting with Ross, everyone was friendly and made a effort to make me feel comfortable. the knowledge and options available to me were impressive. I highly recommend this service I got fitted into an optimal head a shaft which I seen drastic improvements from. Get yourself to SGGT for any your club fittings!!

Iron and wedge fitting
I was recently fitted for irons and wedges with Scott at SGGT. The last time I bought clubs was 10 years ago and they were effectively ‘off the shelf’ clubs. I viewed my next set of clubs as an investment and I thus decided to try SGGT. I went with no expectations of what I was looking for and to be honest that was the best approach I could have taken.
During the 1.5 hours iron fitting, Scott took the time to explain the limitations of my current clubs and what we would look to improve with new clubs. We went through various types of clubs and weights and kept coming back to one set of irons that were perfect for my swing.
The iron fitting went so well that I scheduled a wedge fitting for the next week. This is where I feel the customer service shone through. My technique for chipping was bad, to be kind. Scott gave me the option of tailoring the wedges to my current swing or learning how to chip properly, I chose the latter. Scott preceded to show me how I should be chipping, thus I was able to get tailored wedges to (hopefully) improve my chipping. Following this fitting I have noticed a significant change regarding my chips, I have more control and ability to stop the ball.
In conclusion, if you are in two minds of getting fitted and you play golf every week, I would strongly urge you to go to SGGT and get fitted.

Went for a fitting yesterday for my irons, should have done it years ago, Ross Leeds went through everything I wanted and was looking to gain and put together a club im delighted to say produced exactly what I was looking for, looking forward to getting out and playing a round with them..

Iron fitting with Ross Leeds…
I had a iron fitting with Ross Leeds this afternoon and after many years of playing this game we all love I can say hand on heart this was by far the best club fitting experience I've every had. Ross's knowledge, experience and patience is to be commended. I'll definitely will be back for a driver fitting soon. If you're thinking about purchasing a new set of irons and given the investment you're about to commit to, I wouldn't think about going anywhere else!

I had a hybrid fitting and a gapping session with Ross on Saturday, brilliant service! All the staff very welcoming, Ross was superb really put me at ease and very knowledgeable of the clubs and data. The place is like a Mecca for golfers 5 star

I first used SGGT in 2021 and have since retired to Spain to play golf. I flew back to Scott and hIs team because of the great experience I had in 2021 and I remain hugely impressed and totally satisfied. I wanted a refresh of all clubs to take my game to my next level and spent 3 hours with Ross - his knowledge, understanding and patience was fantastic and it was clear he understood what I wanted and worked really hard to help me achieve this. His professionalism is worth every penny and I look forward to doing my part of the bargain (once I return to Spain and the sunshine from a wet but very welcoming Scotland)

Something I should have done ages ago
Extremely impressive from start to finish. Welcomed the tour of the facility and what lovely welcoming set of guys you have there. No rushing, great explanations and an extremely professional fitting leaving no store unturned- and the clubs work on my course- I am a very happy bunny.

Great Experience - highly recommend
Great experience from fitting to club pick up - highly recommend. This is my 3rd visit to SGGT, previously fairway woods and now irons. Scott was great in the fitting, created a relaxed environment and guided me through the different shaft & club options. Confident I have the right equipment for my golf game. Iron and wedge fitting - perfect.
I had a iron fitting with Scott and a wedge fitting with Ross. Customer service and attention to detail was amazing. I've had the clubs now for several weeks and they are fantastic. Thoughroughly recommend SGGT. I will be using them again.

Brilliant start to finish
Very friendly, personal experience. Never failed to go above and beyond always explaining things and helping you understand why you need certain things etc, didn’t hesitate to show me things around the workshop, came away feeling 10x more confident in my golf game and earned a return customer.

Best fitting experience ever.
Had an iron fitting with Ross Leeds on 12-4-2023. I was amazed at the extent of his knowledge & attention to detail & time spent in getting the right combination to build the clubs best suited to me (my new clubs are well divorced from what I have been playing with). I will have larger grips, lighter & longer shafts & heads 2% upright. Nothing was any bother to him. I have been fitted for clubs before but certainly not to this extent. The professionalism of SGGT shone through & I would highly recommend as your first call for fitting.

The only place to go for golf clubs
So realistically golf clubs are expensive, when spending this kind of money you want to have confidence that you’re buying what’s best for you and your game, where as other golf shops just want to make sales at SGGT their aim is to make sure you leave happy and confident with your clubs whether that’s new ones, your current ones or your current ones with adaptations. The facilities they have are unbelievable and better than any I’ve seen anywhere else. What also impressed me was you don’t just hit a 7 iron of a mat you use proper Titleist golf balls hit them off a mat but also the grass tees, also you go to a chipping area and hit wedges out of a bunker and around the green off different lies too for a more realistic fitting with irons during the fitting they fit you with 4i, 6i, 8i and pw to get a more accurate fitting compared to the standard 7i used everywhere else.
The staff have an unbelievable amount of knowledge and experience and are so helpful, in terms of buying golf equipment I see no reason why anyone would go anywhere else I travelled over 1000km round trip and had a one night stay which shows how much better SGGT are than anyone else in the golf industry (they also have a really cool coffee machine and really nice biscoff biscuits which may need restocking after my visit)

Had a great fitting today
Had a great fitting today. I knew something was off with my current set of irons but wasn’t sure why. Scott & his team are tremendous. No stone left uncovered and got to the bottom of my strange feels in no time.
No sales pitching, just honest feedback. Highly recommend!👏👏👏

Multiple excellent experiences with SGGT - been for wedge, driver, fairway, hybrid and iron fittings. Will never sell you something that won’t work for you and will be very honest through the process - been told my wedge technique needed to improve..overall you can’t get a better golf club fitting experience. Would recommend to anyone.
