Sharper Image Massager
2 years ago I was gifted the Sharper Image Percussion Massagers. Used it maybe 4 times in those 2 years and went to use it yesterday...it wouldn't turn on. Called Sharper Image and was basically told, "Well, it's been 2 years and your battery is dead, so there's nothing we can do." They couldn't even give me a recommendation for repair. This product is trash if it only has a 2 year shelf life for as pricey as it was. I have other products that have lasted more than 5 years and still working while this trash massagers battery is dead already. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on this item nor expect decent customer service for support!

Do I need to give it a star? Ordered a walking pad for Christmas- in grey. They sent it twice in hot pink and have not refunded us at all! So now I have no walking pad and I’m out $257.00. We have called and emailed multiple times and have not been able to get a refund. Please do not buy from them!

The rating of one star should be "Negative one star"...I ordered a pair of heated socks for my husband as a gift and they only heat up to a lukewarm temp and the heating element lasts for 4 hours, not 8 as is advertised. Am unable to return the product because it's a "Personal Item". This is a $100 gift and does not meet expectations.

Grifters! Return shipping is charged on full refunds! Buyer Beware this website peddles tech products you can get at half the price elsewhere. They offer you gift cards and points but you can't use them and everything is about next purchase with exorbitant mark-ups.
Don't Buy Infrared Heating Pad!
This product (Infrared Heating Pad) is terrible! I tried to get a refund on the first one, but because I opened the product (which is the only way to try it), they told me I couldn't. Instead, they sent me a replacement heating pad which is just as useless as the first one. Save your money folks and don't buy this overpriced useless heated pad! After contacting them today (1/27/25) Sharper Image offered a gift card which I rejected, so they promised me a full refund which I hope to receive shortly.
Really terrible company - literally a scam site
Really terrible company that has tried to keep my money at every turn due to their own website errors and purposeful attempts by customer service to repeatedly refund me for the incorrect (lesser) amount. They have been bought by a Venture Capital company and are not at all interested in customer satisfaction or support. Avoid at all costs!
Terrible Arthritic Gloves! Nothing is Returnable!
Ordered gloves that are promoted to help arthritic hands with massage and heat. They are extremely uncomfortable. Sharper Image won’t allow return.
I will never buy anything from them again!
Disappointing birthday gift from…
Disappointing birthday gift from grandma. My mom still shops at SI because of the prestige that it once had. But the gift, (a remote control truck) was a piece of junk that just tore through batteries. And by her comments, I bet she paid a pretty penny for it. I threw it out in the trash the other night with great relief.

I see now I should’ve came here before ordering. I was gonna order a massage chair, but I wanted to know how much it would be if I wanted to return it. They told me that I couldn’t get that information until I ordered it so I did and I got the information. It would cost $130 to return if I didn’t like the chair within 90 days. And then I told them to cancel. They told me it was canceled. After a half hour I didn’t get an email except for the order that was made. But not the cancellation. So I called after a half hour asking what’s going on and they said I was too late. The order had already gone through And I can return it if I wanted to once I received it. But it would cost me $130. So because I bought white glove. They’re gonna have to make an appointment to drop it off and set it up and I will let them know then that this is canceled. And then I will call my credit card company and let them know what is going on. And I will cancel the charge. I will never order from these people again
50 Ways to Cheat Your Customer
1. I ordered two items, instead I received two of the same item.
2. They sent me a return label, but when I saw that they were deducting $21.99 for return shipping (that's what it says) I purchased my own label for approx. $10.
3. Website said they were awaiting return although tracking says it was delivered on the 23rd.
4. Am now being told that not only will they not reimburse "partial" shipping (although I purchased my own label) but that the remainder of the $21.99 debit was for a "handling fee" and that the return policy says they will charge that.
5. a. The website called it "shipping charge." b. the return policy does NOT address a "handling fee."
6. I have not yet received *any* refund although it hasn't been that long--not holding my breath, but did look up my charge card's dispute rules.
Sleazy, unprofessional, and BTW, got the same item which they failed to send me on Amazon for half the price.

Worst products at an over inflated price point ever, might as well shop Temu, This once great innovative company has fallen so low lately. Saw in their listing a Bennie with a LED light on it for a "Discounted" price of $47.38 - the same Bennie is on sale at our local Boscov's store for $4.98 ... ridiculous the prices they are charging.
Christmas gift fail!
Was gifted a smart posture corrector by IGIA by my husband for Christmas! It was terrible! The fit was junk and the product was cheap and useless. Tried to return it because it was 89.00 and the company refused indicating that it wasn't eligible because of the open package. How else do you determine if something fits or works unless you open it?
This isn't the first experience with bad quality from sharper image. However it is the last experience.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I ordered a Christmas gift on December 6 and as of December 26 I’ve heard nothing. No email saying it’s out of stock or running late. I’ve reached out to them 3 times, and keep hearing the same story: “it’s about to ship out and you’ll have an email by tomorrow letting you know it shipped.” Overseas customer service has absolutely no information about my order.
Bogus shipping credit
I ordered quite a bit and they give you shipping credit instead of free shipping but when you go to use these credits it is denied as unknown number. So I have credits I can never use. Last time ordering from them.

Where do I even start... First, I should say that if you decide to return an item, it is an absolute nightmare. Not only do you pay shipping and handling ($32.99??), which will be a "rebate"... as a GIFT CARD for your next purchase. So what? Does this mean I just keep perpetually buying from Sharper Image to negate this shipping cost. Regardless, when I tried to return the item because I wasn't too happy with customer service, I was told that it would be no problem and once I receive the item, I can easily return it. Boy, was that wrong. I finally received the item and tried to return it.. another $32.99 fee for shipping and handling. They said that since it wasn't "defective," I would have to pay that. However, I couldn't even test the item out because if I did, it would be deemed as non-refundable!! Not only that, they sent me a gift card that expired 2 years ago and they didn't send me everything I had ordered. Now, I am trying to get this refund (which by the way can take 30 days) and am out like $70+ because of their policies. Point is, never ever buy from them. If you do, please don't be like me and read the return policy before you do so.
Nine phone calls and six weeks to get a refund
Like many other reviews, my experience involves a bad product, poor customer service and having a difficult time getting a refund. My original purchase was $100, but once they deducted $34 in shipping charges, I was left with a $66 refund. Initially, I was sent the wrong product and when they replaced it with the correct product it was faulty. It took three calls to get a return shipping label sent to me and then it took six additional calls to get my partial refund. In all, it took six weeks to resolve a problem that most other companies resolve immediately.
Rest assured that I will never shop at Sharper Image again.

I’d give them a zero if I could. They have had me going around in circles for two days and I’m thinking I’m nuts. Then I come here to trust pilot. I’m wishing I had done it first after reading other reviews. I’m not nuts at all. They are terrible. No matter how many times I try to make sense of what they were saying it was illogical and misleading, so it isn’t me at all. I asked for a simple explanation of what the price was what the price was after the discount what the price was after the gift card how much was the shipping and handling it was crazy. For instance, the original price is 59.99 but with the special code it s $47.99. The gift card was outdated. The “cash back rebate is supposed to be a reimbursement of the horrendously high shipping i paid on the original order. First I was told that could only be used for shipping. Then she tells me that you can’t use two coupon, etc on the same transaction. Now I’m mad….so she offers me a deal. I could get 20% off the original price! Guess what that price was? Same $47.99 price online (20%off). I thought Sharper Image was a good company with a fine reputation. BIG MISTAKE so stay away from them or you’ll pay more and get a headache. They are playing games with their customers, like the 3 cups rotating and you pick which one the marble is under. Ask all the questions you want but they don’t seem able to give a straight logical answer to a simple question.

Do not shop this company. Their return policies are not customer friendly. I was charged a $31.90 return fee for an item that cost $85.10 with tax and shipping. I returned it because it did not perform as described. My refund was $36.36 only because I chose a gift card instead of a refund to my credit card which would have been less.
