Sad failure to live up to Sharper Image former quality.
the products I bought are substandard. Floor lamp, daylight with zoom lighting and travel mirror. First I received a lamp with missing parts, and after return replacement process I was sent the wrong lamp.
This used to be a reliable, customer satisfied company. I would recommend shopping elsewhere.
Return policy includes running to Fedex, paying large price to return and waiting a long time for replacements...which were not correct.
This company is not what it once was
This company is not what it once was, ordered two products, inferior quality, superior price. Tried the website to get return labels, did not work, could not find my order, called customer service, took wayyyyy too long to resolve a simple issue. Sent only one of the two required shipping labels which I was charged for. Paid shipping both ways, and I have no useable products, Bypass this business. Products were not as represented online. Nowhere does it state if you are unable to use the products you will be charged shipping, in fact, says free shipping returns!
stupid company
this company is the more stupid company to ever buy anything from. they will totally screw up EVERYTHING and then NOT refund money. i have news for them: THEY WILL refund my money and they will never have me order anything from them and I WILL review them as they are (crappy company) on every site i can.

This is a TERRIBLE CORRUPT company. have been an avid fan of Sharper Image since their launch, and have loved their products. Now, this company has become despicable. i ordered an item for close to $700.00. at checkout they informed me that shipping was going to be 65.00 seemed a bit steep, but i agreed to pay it. i finished the transaction, they charged my credit card, and then took my money, and sent me a confirmation and delivery date. two days later i get an email from them that they had reconsidered this shipment and wanted an additional $450.00 for shipping! Ultimately, this means they lied, tried a bait and switch, falsely advertised, broke a signed and sealed contracted deal, and then tried to strong arm me into paying several hundred percent over the agreed upon price. i am horrified, will never shop here again, and will present this issue to every consumer advisory and advocate group i can find. i am also looking into a BBB complaint, if anyone else has had similar issues please reach out to me. i believe that this is ultimately illegal, and it needs to be brought to light and people need to be warned. i will NEVER shop here again, and all other buyers should steer clear of this corrupt company!

I purchased a infrared heating pad and was very pleased at first. After about two months it stopped working. Contacted Sharper Image and they said to send it back and they would replace it. Received the replacement but when you turned it on it immediately cut off. Called Sharper Image and asked for a refund and was told no but I could have a store credit. I no longer trust this company and don’t want to purchase anything from them!

I mistakenly placed order. Call about 5 minutes after to cancel. Order has not been processed or shipped. I was told I could cancel but can return once I received it. How about, if I return item @ my expense only to get store credit.. WOW! SMH..
Heated insoles are crap
Heated insoles are crap. I should have read the reviews here I guess. We ordered the heated foot insoles. They do not work. They are so flimsy and I wanted them for recess. As a teacher being outside a long time, I was trying to keep my feet warm. They are huge - sized for men not women, and they don't charge, don't warm up. The company will not allow a return because they are a "personal item."

Awful Company
Awful Company. Confused "deals" that offer 'free shipping','cash back rewards', 'gift cards', etc. that not even their customer service staff understand and can apply appropriately. It is so frustrating to deal with them that it appears that the confusion is purposeful.
I will never buy from them again and did so this time because of their past reputation. I believe you can find the same products at lower prices elsewhere.
Lies about Shipping & Customer Service does NOT LISTEN
I ordered 12/17/2021. Sharper Image promised it would be delivered between 12/21 and 12/24 - Yes I know it's Christmas. 4 hours later I get an email saying 12/28 - That doesn't work for me. So I call Sharper Image Customer Service and they me to wait to see what Fed ex posts the next day ... and Fed Ex says 12/23. So I check Fed Ex and it doesn't update over the next 4 days, still in CA - I'm in PA. I call on 12/22 and say there is no way it will make it to my house by the next day if it hasn't even gotten to a Fed Ex spot nearby. Emily from Customer service assures me it will arrive by 12/23 end of day. She DID NOT LISTEN. Late Today ... Fed Ex updates to - it will arrive 12/28. I am annoyed at being lied to and not being listened to. They could have fixed the problem at the beginning!!!
Misleading shipping fees, no help
Ten days before Christmas, I ordered a product from Sharper Image for my 5 year old nephew. I paid extra for what the website explicitly called “Holiday Shipping.” Two days after placing the order, I received the tracking info that said the gift would arrive on 12/28 - three day’s AFTER the holiday.
I immediately called customer service and explained the situation, and both the the initial rep and the “supervisor” told me there was nothing they could do. I told them I paid for holiday shipping and asked what “Holiday Shipping” meant, and the supervisor said “that just means anytime in December.” I then asked him if that’s truly what he believed, just as a human and not a customer service lackey, and he finally agreed it was misleading. However, he continued to say there was nothing he could do. I asked for a full refund, or a refund of the enhanced shipping, or comp overnight shipping, or they could send something else - and they refused any request I had to fix it.
The “supervisor” said he’s “escalate” my complaint, and I’ve never heard back.
Mistakes and shipping delays happen. But that’s not what this was: the website STILL says pay extra and get your product by Christmas. THEY ARE LYING. And when they ruin some kid’s Christmas, they won’t care and they’ll tell you “Holiday Shipping” just means sometime before President’s Day. It’s tough to swallow such reprehensible mistreatment of customers.

Sharer Image has theeee WORST customer service ever! What are you paying the reps...peanuts!?... seriously actual peanuts because that's the capacity level...I just tried (twice) to order some items for Christmas. The first time I called the rep (although sweet) was soooo unprofessional I had to hangup I couldn't take the background noise and being put on hold numerous X's. I called right back hoping to get someone more professional & efficient..not the case. Although nice the next rep was just as clueless and put me on hold a # of times, but I hung there cause I really wanted these items...we got all the way to almost the end and I had her recap the shipping address and my email...omg! It was totally all wrong! I repeated my address, and my email 6 times (seriously) six times and she "still" couldn't get it right...I hung up cause no way I was giving my CC info after that....WOW! Sharper Image "Do Better"
Keep shipping to incorrect address!!
We placed an order and Sharper Image sent it to an incorrect zip code; we never received it. Called and spoke with agent who said they would resend and refund our shipping cost. We got the confirmation from that, but, again, to the wrong zip code! Called a second time and went through whole process again - had the agent read back to us the address TWICE and she had it correctly. We just now got a shipping confirmation email that it is AGAIN going to the wrong zip code!!! Sharper Image keeps changing the zip code!! Called a THIRD time and got the same story as before! Demanded to speak with supervisor (they're all in a meeting, but will call back as soon as meeting is over.) and if it's not resolved by this afternoon, will be demanding a full refund and buying the products elsewhere. DO NOT BUY FROM SHARPER IMAGE IF YOU WANT TO GET YOUR ORDER!!

I made a mistake on my order and ordered a pillow case when I intended to order the pillow. I ordered 2 other items as well. The 2 items arrived and no pillow. I contacted customer service and they assured me the packages arrived. I took a picture of the packages (I had not opened them as they were the right shape and size of the items they were supposed to contain). And sent them. I called to follow up and was told they would resend the pillow. The next day I got an email informing me that it was actually my mistake (they were so nice they didn’t call it that!) but so that I was not inconvenienced, I could keep the pillowcase at no charge as a gift and they would refund 110% of the charge to apply to a reorder of the pillow. I called to go over this and the csr applied the discount and gave me free shipping on the pillow so it would arrive in time for the birthday. They went above and beyond offering the right solution when we thought it was their error and then when it was discovered it was mine the did even more! Would highly recommend this team!

It was truly a surprise when I received the power cord for my husband’s smartphone photo printer which I purchased from Sharper Image. After our puppy chewed through the power chord, I called customer service and a very friendly and helpful representative assisted me with my dilemma. I just needed another power chord for the printer. I was willing to pay for it but I wasn’t sure if they sold separate parts for their products. I received the power chord with no charge. I’ll definitely continue buying products from Sharper Image. Now that’s great customer service.
They suck
They suck. I ordered a body pillow that cost nearly $150 that probably cost $5 to make in some Indonesian sweat shop. It is super low quality, flimsy and hurt my neck to the point that I had to go to the chiropractor. I emailed them, they refused to give me a refund and only would take it back for store credit. Then they ghosted me and sent some lame ass auto responder saying: "Recently we have seen an unprecedented number of emails to which we are working to provide answers. Please know we have received your email and we will personally take care of your needs and provide a response as soon as possible. Please note sending multiple emails will not allow us to process your request any faster."
Well, um, given your obscene prices and refusal to give money back to your consumers, I think you can afford to hire more customer service reps?
Btw, I ordered the pillow under the guise of a "mystery coupon" that turned out to be a gift card to be used on FUTURE purchases.

First phone call made to them resulted in them promising to send another device with us keeping the nonfunctioning one. Nothing was received in four weeks. Second call resulted in them not even acknowledging the purchase and and refusing to refund or send another one.
sharper image Neck massager
I got a sharper image Neck massager as a gift, It did everything it was supposed to except massage my neck and I have 3 herniated Discs in my neck so I was really looking for a Great Neck massager . So when we went to return this product. I was told Sharper image would not take the product back. Everywhere else I have ordered I have been able to return product but not sharper image this is a bunch of BS now I know why there going out of business, Poor customer service never again will ever by a sharper image product
Bluetooth CD and DVD Boombox Radio
I ordered and received a Bluetooth CD and DVD Boombox Radio Item #205139 @ $119.99. It works fine when plugged in but will not work with 8 C cell batteries. There is no indication on item as to how batteries are to be placed. We have tried every which way. Please let me know how to fix. Thank you. Barbara Barrow 503-343-9039
