FINALLY RESOLVED - Avoid this company at all costs.
I purchased WP Ultimate CSV Importer Pro specifically because it claimed to support MasterStudy LMS, including user progress data. It does not. It can’t export or import actual learning progress (stm_lms_user_courses, stm_lms_user_lessons, etc.) — only post types. Total waste of money.
I requested a refund within hours of purchase. That was over a month ago, and I’ve been stuck in a never-ending loop of emails, stall tactics, and “support” that goes nowhere. They keep asking for admin access and pointless info instead of just honouring their own refund policy, which clearly says you're eligible if the plugin fails to perform as advertised.
Shady business practices, misleading advertising, and some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in tech. Still no refund. Don’t fall for it.

Total Scam. Six Months of Lies.
We paid Smackcoders $2,500 for a Zoho–Mailchimp integration, they first wanted $10'000, but reduced the price by 75% after 1 e-mail...What we got: six months of fake tests, constant excuses, and a completely broken system. No delivery, no accountability, and zero support.
They ignored our messages for weeks — we had to chase them through their own website live chat just to get a response.
And the worst part - they don't admit any wrongdoing at all. I have revoked their access to our CRM after 6 months and dozens of "final deadlines" and warnings, now the only thing they say is that they would have completed it, but couldn't work on it because I removed their access.
Who needs 6 months for a simple API setup?
Another company rebuilt the entire thing from scratch in one week for $900. Smackcoders’ work was 100% unusable.
We’re suing. Avoid this company at all costs.
Edit: The reply from them to this post just proves my point, they are trying to justify their scam by saying that I have "approved it". That is not at all the case. One of our marketing employees wrote that it "looks fine" while pointing out another error in the synch, when she was asked to test one part of the synch while I was on vacation in November. She hasn't played any role at all in this project and had no idea or authority to approve anything. They are now saying that this message has officially approved all of their work and it was finally submitted and accepted then...When I returned 3 days later from my vacation the first thing I did when I tested it was write them a huge list of issues and bugs, so no, it was definitely not approved from our side. I am the owner and CEO of the company, I had the lead in this project, I paid them and was the main communicator for all requirements. But I guess it was all approved by a single "seems fine" while I was on vacation. There were several reports from my side during the months following November that nothing is working, only because they started ignoring my messages doesn't mean that there was no communication.
The access to our system was blocked in April, not February...They just can't stop lying...The only thing that is true is that they value long-term relationships, that's why they were working on a simple API connection for 6 months, they truly love long-term projects.
I am happy to share the whole communication with them to anyone who is interested just contact me by email office((at))artboxgroups.com. I don't want anyone else to fall for this scam.

We’d like to share our perspective, as the client’s statements omit key facts. This was a custom Zoho–Mailchimp migration project, not a standard license or off-the-shelf product. Deliverables were clearly defined, completed, demonstrated, and acknowledged as functional.
Support for such implementations typically spans 15–30 days post-deployment, as per industry norms. In this case, no issues were raised for nearly three months after project completion, during which the system remained in active use and new complexities were introduced. Throughout, we maintained consistent communication and delivered the solution as per the mutually approved scope.
🔴 “We paid $2,500... six months of fake tests... broken system.”
🟢 The actual development timeline was 45 days, not six months. The delay was due to client-side testing gaps and third-party (Zoho API) limitations—well documented and acknowledged.

- Inquiry: Sep 23, 2024
- Demo: Same day
- Scope Finalized: Oct 1
- Payment: Oct 31
- Sample Migration: Nov 6
- Full Delivery: Nov 11
- Approval: “Sync looks fine” — screenshot available
- First issue reported: Mid-Feb 2025
- Access revoked: Apr 2025 — during active debugging
🔴 “They asked $10,000, reduced to $2,500 after 1 email.”
🟢 The $10,000 quote covered:
- 200,000+ contact migration
- Extensive custom field mapping
- Unique ID reconciliation
- Middleware server for sync between Zoho & Mailchimp APIs
After client evaluation, we mutually agreed to a discounted $2,500 as a goodwill gesture with potential for future collaboration.
🔴 “They lied about my approval.”
🟢 Written approval was received and not marked tentative. If the approving team member lacked authority, it was not communicated until three months later. Regardless, we continued offering support beyond the 30-day period.
🔴 “Another company rebuilt it in 1 week for $900.”
🟢 Our build handled field-level sync, duplicate checks, and high-volume data transfer—when 95% of the agreed features were delivered already and approved, not disputed without knowing their exact scope, such comparisons are speculative
🔴 “No support. They ignored us for weeks.”
🟢 Communication logs confirm:
- Issue raised: Feb
- Access requested: Mar 5
- Able to access: Mar 18
- Fix under review
- Access revoked: Apr 2 — cutting short our active support
We maintained regular contact via email, chat, and screenshare. Any brief delays were unintentional and never indicative of neglect.
🔴 “They say I removed access too early.”
🟢 Correct. Access was revoked during active debugging. Without it, we could not proceed. Multiple restoration requests were ignored.
🔴 “Happy to share full communication.”
🟢 We welcome a neutral third-party review of all records. We’re confident they reflect our professionalism and effort.
Summary
The $2,500 fee covered a custom, approved, and used solution.
- No issues were raised for nearly three months post-delivery.
- Access was revoked during support, preventing resolution.
- Claims of fraud or non-delivery are factually incorrect and potentially defamatory.

Great support and product

Good support and custom development possibilities
I have been using that plugin for years now in its normal version.
For a new project i had a specific request, so i contacted the support team. They offered me a paid solution at a reasonable price for updating my version of the plugin with my specific process. Very poor support
We bought a rather expensive Wordpress plugin, and have been struggling to get basic support over email. Even after asking developer explicitly to answer the specific question, we're getting a lot of rushed, seemingly copy/pasted responses that are now putting our launch in jeopardy. I would like to see the quality of support improve in the future. Completely unacceptable.

2. This is also the only plugin that can update profile photos on Ultimate Member.
3. With this plugin, you can export courses/lessons/quizzes/questions from the MasterStudy LMS WordPress Plugin. The only thing you have to do is link them after importing.
It's a great-value plugin, straightforward and intuitive, supported by a great team.

Great company great plugins
We use a plugin from Smackcoders to import CSV files to WordPress ACF custom post types. It works quite well and it has been handy for us.
Their technical support is efficient and friendly.

Get away from this company
CSV Importer purchased, import does not work.
I wrote to support, after 4 days I received an answer that had nothing to do with my question but only contained a link to a video.
Sent another request to support, now 10 days have passed and still no response!
This is not worth 199 dollars, and actually not even worth this 1 star
and to this day (27.09.2024) this cowardly association has still not taken care of it.
Conclusion: minus 50 stars, clearly FRAUD
