It's a pretty great device! Works super well, with the results being visible after two weeks.

My only comment would be that the time between the flashes is medium-speed (not fast) so the process takes a bit of time. But the light isn't painful at all, the device is nice to manipulate, and the payoff is really great for the money.

I'm a life-long shaver/ epilator user, so it's a really great option for me.

I’ve been really impressed with this device so far. I have fair skin with a mix of light and medium brown hair, and after just 4 weeks of use I’ve already seen a noticeable reduction in hair growth. Since switching to the Pure Ice device, I’ve had fewer ingrown hairs and an improvement in my skin texture.

I typically use it straight after showering and shaving. Once I’m dry, I can get started within minutes. The time between pulses is very fast, so treatments don’t take long at all. It’s quick and easy to use and, while shaving my armpits didn't ever take long, this device offers me a long-term solution, and avoids the skin damage I often noticed after shaving.

Unlike waxing, the treatment itself is painless. You feel a slight warmth from the light, but the sapphire cooling feature balances it out immediately.

The device is quiet, sleek, and feels high quality. I love the colour, too - I think it looks really modern and premium.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the results after the full 12 weeks.

I can't believe how well this device worked. After only 4 weeks, most of my hair was completely gone at my armpits, bikini line, and legs. I could see results already after 2 weeks.

The small flash window makes legs a bit of a longer job, but overall its a pretty quick and easy process!

The cooling feature makes it really comfortable, at worst you get a bit of heat/ mild discomfort. But you can turn the intensity of the device down.

Very cooling and a noticeable reduction in hair after 4 weeks, even in bikini line. Really enjoyed the cooling, and recommend ensuring area is freshly shaved, as any leftover hair is more painful. Did not notice this much on my leg, but bikini line more sensitive. Will continue for 12 weeks as there is still growth, hardly noticeable on my legs.

I have quite a few moles so have avoided those, and have been unable to do underarm for that reason. I found it easier completed lying down.

Machine itself is really smooth quality plastic, when I first opened the box I was pleasantly surprised by this. Box is beautiful and all very good quality. Makes the weekly chore a while lot nicer and easier.

Bought product however already received one as a gift. The one I have bought is unopened, I have emailed rhe company three times as outlined on their website to request a refund. I have still to receive a response back.

I have opened a dispute with the company with PayPal, still awaiting a response.

Great response / customer service from smooth skin

I have been using cheap IPL and was disappointed by the results, I then switched to Smoothskin and this is a game changer in terms of both efficacy and ease of use. I highly recomend them!

If I could rate with 0 I would. Product stopped working after 6 months. Have written several emails and have had ZERO response even! Terrible customer service and will never use again. Do not buy from this company as they have no concerns about issues/problem

I have been looking at the reviews and I am not the only one that has had a very negative experience with Smoothskin.
To say they are terrible and don’t care about the product they sell in my opinion would be an understatement.
The product is a Smoothskin Bare and stopped working correctly UNDER WARRANTY, I have messaged the company four times with only an automated “we have your mail and will respond in 24 hours”. No other response, I repeat NOTHING !

When you purchase a so called premium product you expect that if you have a problem the company would respond in a premium manner.

Now I have an expensive piece of plastic which will just be a reminder.

I finally took the plunge and bought a Pure Mini Lite from Amazon as my first IPL device. It is super easy to use. I didn't see a huge difference immediately but after around 4 weeks there is definitely less hair! For me it has been most effective on my legs and bikini line but think it is different for everyone. If you are unsure I would say give it a try!

DON'T BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY. I have the expensive Smoothskin Pure Fit System, brand new out of the box. The Activation Button and the Mode Button will not work or switch on. I'm now outside the 2 year warranty window. I bought the product and never used it because I was dealing with health issues, never thinking that the device will not even switch on when it's brand new. And, based on the negative reviews posted that their device won't work either or stopped working after a short time and customer service is terrible, it's pointless for me to even contact this company. I've been cheated out of $419.

I can't believe this actually works! It's so convenient to be able to do this yourself, at home once a week instead of going to a laser appointment. It's so easy to do, you'd think it's too good to be true. I found it painless and it started working quite quickly (after a couple of sessions). I'm so glad I gave it a go - it's so nice not to have to worry as much about shaving. And makes areas with coarse hair where regrowth is itchy and uncomfortable much less of an issue.

The customer service department works slowly. My product is defective, I tried to email so many times, but after answering it 1 time, they ignored my emails and didn't give me the solution I needed. I actually spent a lot of money on this device because I trusted the brand, but the device was faulty and the staff was slow, making me so disappointed. Now what should I do with this defective machine that costs more than $400?

Customer services is extremely rude and misleading. I can't emphasise that enough. After the offer to refund my faulty device, they simply decided they couldn't do it anymore. I even have an email confirming that the refund was being processed, but after 3 long months of endless emails and delays because many times they simply ignore your messages, I was told I couldn't get a refund because their policy had just changed. Again, staff is really rude.
