Smyth And Associates Avaliações

I am so thankful that I booked Seamus Smyth to conduct the survey on a property I was purchasing. The report was in-depth and identified numerous issues with the property, as such, that I am no longer buying the property.
Initially, I was going for a home buyers survey but after speaking with Seamus on his advice, had a full structural survey done which was the best thing I have
ever spent my money on, saving me buying a house I would not have possibly been able to sell in the future. Additionally, he spoke with me on numerous occasions during the process of the survey, keeping me updated.
I would recommend Smyth and Associates without hesitation and will use them again when I find another property I wish to purchase.
Thank you Seamus

Séamus undertook the survey of the property I inherited as I knew there were some underlying problems with it. His knowledge and guidance about what work is required is invaluable to helping me decide where to direct my resources.

He spent a few hours assessing the property in forensic detail and what he doesn't know about properties isn't worth knowing. He was more than happy to answer questions about the survey and the best course of action with parts of the house. He's also a very amiable chap and a pleasure to have around.

Attention to detail second to none. This is shown in his extensive report which he turned around very quickly. Good comms from start to finish. Highly recommend.

An excellent service. A detailed report in straightforward language with photos of every issue raised.
I feel it is important when making the biggest purchase of my life to get the very best information available, and that is what we got from Seamus. He has also been available and approachable to discuss any concerns throughout. I highly recommend.

Highly recommended
The thorough report and in depth analysis have been very helpful financially and a peace of mind knowing that ALL major problems good or bad have been vetted.
WELL worth it, have recommended to others and shall continue to do so.
MANY THANKS Seamus

Impressive, thorough survey. Surveyor was there for me from day one, guiding me through the process and always ready and able to answer any questions. Saved me a lot of time, money and heartache. Thoroughly recommend anyone to use this Surveyor.

This is the second time I have used Seamus and his work is thorough and outstanding. His report was detailed and he even spoke to me about his findings which gave me clarity as to some of the many issues that he found. Suffice to say, we didn’t buy the property and I thank Seamus as he has probably saved me and my partner tens of thousands of pounds!

Séamus recently conducted a thorough survey on a property we were looking to purchase. Communication was excellent throughout. I was sent a sample survey and lots of information on enquiry. The survey report was comprehensive, including photos and estimates on the cost to repair any problems identified. After careful consideration, we decided not to proceed with purchasing the property as a number of problems were identified and the remedial work would have been costly and disruptive. We are very grateful to Séamus for taking his time to conduct such a thorough survey and providing us with such a detailed report. We are currently on the look out for another property and we will definitely be asking Séamus to conduct a survey when we find the right place. Thank you!

Seamus did a great job for us with his Level 3 Building Survey.
He was so thorough and left (literally!) no stone unturned. At every stage he kept us informed and was polite and professional.
He gave his very great knowledge and very detailed insight to this project, and throughout his report, at every relevant point, he attached web links to the various external trade organisations and advisory services, for us to go straight to the information source.
He has very high standards and has produced a survey of the very highest calibre for us.

Excellent service from Seamus Smyth, he conducted his full building survey of our property with professionalism and diligence. We would highly recommend Smyth and Associates to anybody looking to do a survey.

An excellent service from start to finish. The survey and report were completed promptly. Throughout the process were we were kept well informed by phone and email. The report was set out clearly with labelled photos and a full breakdown of required repairs, making it straightforward to understand. I would be happy to recommend Seamus to anyone looking to have a building survey done at a fair price, by a qualified RICS professional.

We were really pleased with the service that Seamus provided; the report was rigorous and very helpful. He was quick to respond to our queries, going beyond what we expected.

Excellent service and professional throughout. Séamus is very reassuring and inspires confidence when embarking upon what can be a very big step. The report enabled me to be informed and prepared when making an important decision. Will seek Séamus’s knowledge and expertise again with confidence and I cannot emphasise enough, the value of this service and expertise. An invaluable report was produced. It was comprehensive to one who finds such technicalities incomprehensible. The report was presented in a way that detailed specifics and technical information. It was also summarised in a way that made it digestible and accessible to a laywoman such as myself. This service is essential.

I couldn’t recommend enough, Séamus was really helpful, honest advise, very thorough report and I have actually not gone through with the sale of the house because of the findings in the report. Worth every penny.

Seamus did a full building survey on a property purchase that I was looking to make. His report was detailed, thorough and highlighted a number of issues that needed to be explored before contracts could be exchanged. I even phoned Seamus to ask his opinion about a number of issues that he had raised. His advice was intelligent, thoughtful and incredibly useful for me to take forward. Would definitely use Seamus again and would have no qualms about recommending his house surveying service to others.

Seamus is a personable guy who is clearly an expert in his field. He was straight with us from the start and provided an excellent report right on time. In this instance, we believe his report has saved us a lot of money and we look forward to using him again

Sèamus provided an excellent service. He was clear about his qualifications, provided clear guidance on what we should expect from the report and carried out the inspection promptly. The report was extremely thorough and provided within the agreed timescales. He was also a lovely man and really happy to help when I called him to discuss the report.

We decided not to buy the house based on the survey and have learnt a lot on what to look out for before we proceed with another house.

We will definitely use Sèamus' services again!

We hired Smyth and Associates to do a full RICS Level 3 Building Survey (Structural Survey) on a property we were looking to purchase and Séamus was brilliant. We were very very impressed with the level of detail within the building survey report and found the numerous photos very useful. We would definitely use Smyth and Associates again.

A straight forward and comprehensive report, with very useful photo evidence, all done in a professional and timely manner. Many thanks

Séamus has been brilliant from start to finish: clear pricing, clear about what can be expected, and swift to provide a detailed report (with photographs and annotations) written in plain English

Cannot recommend him highly enough!

Quick summary= Completed the structural survey as required. Happy to discuss needs beforehand before committing to survey. Always kept up to date with report e.g. if slight delay does inform you by email. Happy to discuss findings of report afterwards if clarity/ reassurance needed. Appears to have considerable experience in this field of work. Good communicator. Would use again if required and would recommend.
