With all that said, the subject of this review is the poor quality of the software, the lack of support, and the failure to honour their 30 day money back guarantee.
Furthermore, the company uses PayPal accounts owned by third party individuals. These accounts get restricted and/or blocked, most likely due to the high rate of returns.
This a HUGE red flag. Legitimate and ethical companies DO NOT use other people's cash registers to take money.
When a refund is requested, it is met by statements like "Our PayPal account has been temporarily restricted. Please contest the charge with PayPal etc. They do this knowing full well that the refund would then come from their funds "trapped" there. They then move on to a new account, and continue selling there.
This is the modus operandi....
They create really poor products, and sell these using tempting sales pages, via various affiliate networks.
Much time and effort is spent on the sales page, and are very compelling.
Buyer beware, because if you get tempted into the first offer (at low cost) there is an upsell funnel of OTO (One Time Offers) that are increasingly expensive and even worse in functionality.
Once you have purchased one product, you will then get spammed by the Managing Director Amit Gaikwad, as he is also an affiliate of the networks where their products are sold.
This is Unsolicited Commmercial Email. They may claim you elected to follow them for new product releases, but these offerings are third party, and not related to Softstrem. Hence, it is SPAM.
While the company markets and sells "quality" website development, they do not even publish a website for themselves. Their company domain softstrem.com is barren.
Should Gaikwad, Dhande, Chikane and/or Anirudh Baavra (the front-end sales guy) elect to reply to this review, it would undoubtedly include...
"We could not refund you, our PayPal account is restricted."
"You chose to accept alternative products instead of a refund, you are abusing the affiliate network, we will report you there."
These alternative products are even worse that the initial, so when a refund is insisted upon, and alternative methods to replay or given, this is the response...
"We cannot refund to another source."
The bottom line is that Softstrem Technologies is nothing but a smoke and mirror operation to get money out of unsuspecting customers.
The review is given by someone on the Internet since 1982. I code in 15+ languages and qualified to evaluate the quality of software products.
Softstrem Technologies are creators of absolute junk software, and use unethical techniques to sell their products.
Amit Ashok Gaikwad, Sagar Krushna Dhande and Tushar Krishnakant Chikane and Aniredh Baavra are welcome to repond here, and aptempt to defend their business practices.
In the interim, we continue to work with PayPal to help them clamp down on companies such as Softstrem Technologies.
