The shops are so poorly stocked and the service is so horrendous that there is just no point in even going there
Purchased a coat for my grandson for Christmas it was faulty when he opened it as I had left it in the packet as bought on home delivery as not had his size on store cost 4.99 to get it delivered and then sent it back as stitching was faulty on sleeve and cost 61.98 with delivery for a junior jacket . They know I need a replacement coat as soon as possible and the delivery back was confirmed by Evri as made 8 days ago now and they ignore your emails at customer service so now no coat still and they have the coat and my money and he is now without a school coat as he has grown out of the other one and needs the new one it’s so cold but they don’t really care they have no empathy and poor communication. This company is not people friendly at all. Il go to JD next time as I have bought stuff there over Christmas as sick of sports direct making you pay 4.99 to get a home
Delivery or a store delivery and never got the items in stock in that enormous shop in meadowhall.
I ordered five items 26th Nov 2025, three of the items were delivered I have not received two of the items yet no any information from sport direct this is really bad.
i was in newtownards store where i gad a 22.99 refund receipt apparently it wasn’t the credit note so i was refused the refund by the store manager who was a rude jumped up man i was willing to buy a coat at 60pd but i wont ever shop in that store again i dont understand why the just dont put your refund onto cards like any other businesses do but i seen it all when the manager refused to give his name and was so rude and obnoxious to me not a bit of wonder its not rated highly stay well away

Never gonna use again. Didn’t expect a scam from this company. I got one missing item from my order and is very hard to get help to solve the problem.
Sports Direct Worst customer service
Sports direct is not for online shopping due the really bad customer service. There is no real person, no phone number. I have returned my item on the 15th Dec 2024 and still waiting for the refund. I have spent so many hours of my time doing online chat and sending evidence of an item sent proof and you don’t get any reply. I have emailed and you don’t hear anything back. I have exhausted on my options and frustrated to write this well deserved bad review. I just end up repeating something over and over on the chat and then nothing happens. I do feel this is a scam to take money from the public and then hide behind the internet. I have tried to discuss this with the stores and they don’t want to know as it’s online purchase. I will never use sports direct and also advised my families to stay away.
As a first-time customer at Sports Direct, this will also be my last experience with them. I placed two separate orders on the same day and immediately emailed their customer service to cancel one of the orders. They responded, stating that someone would get in touch within a few days, but seven days passed with no further communication. Instead, both orders were dispatched, each incurring a £5 delivery fee.
I visited the store today to cancel one of the orders in person, but they refused to accommodate the request. I was told that if I didn’t collect the items, they would be returned to Sports Direct after four weeks, and I’d have to wait another four weeks for the refund process to begin. I initially thought they were joking, but they weren’t.
The cashier I spoke to handled the matter professionally and advised me to leave the trainers in-store if I didn’t want them, but I was informed I’d still be charged an additional £5. As someone with a visual impairment, this entire process has been unnecessarily difficult and stressful.
I will never shop at Sports Direct again.
Cuidado con esta empresa. Publica descuentos que luego te niega hacerlos. Son muy deshonestos. Además te ponen que son de España y no es así.
Recomiendo buscar otras opciones para comprar.
