Très joli banc, servie commercial joignable et honnête

Très joli banc, fidèle à la description.
Service client joignable par e-mail en max 24h. Renseignements avant l'achat (choix des couleurs du bois), comme après l'achat (problème avec une demande de frais de douane qui m'ont été remboursés par Strelle sans discussion et très rapidement). Banc très bien emballé et expédition rapide.
Le seul soucis a été avec le livreur local (en Belgique Fed-EX), ce qui n'est pas dépendant de Srelle.

Srelle.com : à fuir absolument – mon pire achat en ligne
J’ai passé une commande sur leur site le 19 mars 2025, et il m’a fallu attendre jusqu’au 20 juin 2025 pour obtenir une résolution partielle seulement.

Commençons par le positif : si vous recevez vos meubles, ils sont de bonne facture et bien emballés. C’est ce qui justifie l’unique étoile que j’ai laissée sur Trustpilot (si j’avais pu, je n’en aurais mis aucune).

Mais pour le reste, c’est une catastrophe :

1. Délais de livraison non respectés

Dès le départ, les délais annoncés ont été largement dépassés, sans aucune explication claire.

2. Frais de douane injustifiés

J’ai ensuite commencé à recevoir des mails de FedEx m'invitant à payer des frais de douane et taxes d’importation, alors que les prix affichés sur le site sont censés être TTC.
Quelqu'un du "Customer Success" m’a promis un remboursement de ces frais payés en double... que je n’ai jamais vu venir.

3. Produit non conforme

Après une attente interminable, la chaise commandée est finalement arrivée… mais dans la mauvaise couleur.
À partir de là, impossible de savoir quand j’allais recevoir la bonne. Le service client répondait rarement, et quand il le faisait, c’était avec des réponses vagues, sans aucune date précise.

4. Réclamation et plaintes nécessaires

Face à l’absence de solution, j’ai dû :

Faire opposition au paiement via ma banque (Visa)
Déposer plainte auprès du SPF Économie en Belgique
J’ai transmis l’historique complet de mes échanges. Ils ont pris le relais et contacté les institutions financières. La procédure porte forcément sur la transaction dans son ensemble, même si une partie de la commande était correcte.

5. Résolution uniquement sous pression

Ce n’est qu’après ces démarches et sous la menace d’un remboursement intégral que j’ai finalement reçu la chaise correcte… trois mois plus tard.
J’ai annulé mes plaintes, mais l’expérience a été un vrai cauchemar.

6. Avis douteux sur Trustpilot

À noter : les avis positifs sur Trustpilot sont anciens, très génériques et semblent peu authentiques.

Conclusion : SRELLE.COM est à éviter absolument
Si vous avez rencontré les mêmes problèmes, n’hésitez pas à faire opposition au paiement via votre banque (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).
Je me ferai un plaisir de soutenir toutes les personnes lésées par ce site.

Srelle.com – A Website to Absolutely Avoid: My Worst Online Shopping Experience
I placed an order on their website on March 19, 2025, and had to wait until June 20, 2025 to get a partial resolution—nothing more.

Let me start with the only positive point: if you do receive your furniture, the quality is decent and the packaging is careful. That’s the only reason I gave them one star on Trustpilot (and honestly, if I could have given zero, I would have).

But everything else was a nightmare:

1. Delivery delays

From the beginning, the delivery deadlines were grossly missed, with no clear explanation.

2. Unexpected customs and import charges

I then started receiving emails from FedEx asking me to pay customs duties and import taxes, even though prices on the website are supposed to be all taxes included (TTC).
Someone from "Customer Success" promised to refund these duplicate charges—but of course, the refund never came.

3. Wrong item received

After an endlessly long wait, the chair finally arrived... but in the wrong color.
From that point on, I had no idea when I would receive the correct one. Their customer service, when they bothered to reply at all, only gave vague and evasive responses, never providing a specific delivery date.

4. I had to escalate the issue

With no resolution in sight, I had to:

Dispute the transaction with my bank (Visa)
File complaints with the Belgian federal services
I submitted the full exchange history, and they took over, contacting the financial institutions directly.
Important note: the procedure only allows a complaint about the entire transaction, even though part of my order was correct.

5. Resolution came only under pressure

Only after filing multiple complaints and threatening a full chargeback did I finally receive the correct chair—three months after placing my order.
I withdrew my complaints, but the whole process was a complete nightmare.

6. Suspicious reviews on Trustpilot

Note: the positive reviews on Trustpilot are old, generic, and seem fake.

In conclusion: Avoid SRELLE.COM at all costs
If you’ve faced similar issues, don’t hesitate to dispute the payment through your bank (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).
I’ll be happy to support anyone who’s had problems with this company.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I would like to clarify the timeline and details of your order, as some information appears to be incomplete.

You placed your order on March 19th, 2025 for three items:
• Library Bench in Natural
• Cane Footstool in Natural
• Easy Lounge Chair in Natural

One item, the Easy Lounge Chair, was unfortunately delivered in the wrong finish (darkened teak instead of natural). As soon as this was brought to our attention, we arranged a driver to pick it at your Brussels address according to the time slot you selected. The incorrect chair was collected approximately one week later.

Once the returned chair arrived back with us, we shipped the correct replacement. The new chair was delivered to you on April 29th, which is approximately five weeks after the original order date.

After receiving the tracking information for the replacement, you opened a payment dispute for the full order amount, despite being in possession of the other two items and having the tracking details for the replacement chair.

We contacted you regarding the dispute, and you explained that you believed this was the appropriate course of action and that you would close it once the replacement chair was received. We clarified that payment disputes are intended for unresolved or fraudulent transactions and that keeping a dispute open while the order is being actively resolved is against payment provider policies. Unfortunately, the dispute remained open.

Regarding the import duties for the replacement shipment: as you experienced with the initial delivery, Srelle always covers these charges as part of the order payment. However, because the payment had been formally disputed, the funds were withheld by the payment provider, and we were therefore unable to cover the duties on the replacement shipment. This was explained several times during our correspondence.

The replacement chair was successfully delivered to you on April 29th (tracking number 880710520976). Until this day, the order remains unpaid due to the ongoing dispute.

Ordered two chairs a month or so apart

Ordered two chairs a month or so apart, both with "natural" finish and received two COMPLETELY different colored chairs. A slight variation in color is expected but one chair was red and the other was brown. After giving Srelle numerous opportunities to make this right, they still expected me to bear the full cost and responsibility of shipping the chairs back before sending replacements.

UPDATE: It is wildly unacceptable for a company who (made absolutely no attempt to let customers know the wild variance of their "natural" finish) to expect a customer who didn't receive what they thought they were receiving to bear the burden of a $500 freight shipment. I would be happy to send the chair back had Srelle provided collection free of charge. Sorry, I'm not interested in the hassle and expense of shipping an unacceptable piece of merchandise back to the manufacturer.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’d like to clarify a few points from our communication, as some details in your review don’t fully reflect what was discussed.

You placed your first order for an Easy Chair in Natural Teak in August, and the second in October. Both chairs received the same “Natural Teak” finish — which is simply a thin layer of linseed oil over raw teak wood. As we explained by email, natural materials can vary quite a bit in tone from batch to batch. This is true for any product made from untreated wood, whether it’s furniture, chopping boards, kitchen utensils, or anything else.

To help resolve the issue, we offered to custom-produce a new chair for you, selecting the exact teak pieces beforehand and sending you photos throughout every step of the process. We also offered to ship this replacement to you completely free of charge, as soon as the original chair was returned.

You declined this solution and instead requested that we produce and ship the custom replacement while you kept the existing chair, and collect the return afterward. Unfortunately, this isn’t something we can do, as it falls outside our returns policy — a policy we shared with you several times.

That said, we did make an exception by extending the return window by an additional two months and confirming that we would create a fully custom chair matching the tone of your first piece, at no extra cost.

We truly strive to be fair and helpful, and we’re still more than willing to assist you within the terms of our return process.

Absolutely shocking customer service…

Absolutely shocking customer service for missing items in my delivery.

There is only a basic email to contact anyone on and as well as not resolving the issue of missing seat pads in my order, there was an added import tax to pay after receipt of my chairs.

I spent over £500 on items i never received. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

I am very satisfied with the…

I am very satisfied with the experience! Initially, I was searching for a set of original PJ chairs but decided to reach out to Srelle for questions I had about new productions. Constanza took the time to explain the history and how "original" doesn't necessarily mean vintage. She also explained that new productions can be considered "Original Chanidgahr Furniture". I wanted to buy a chair and table for my work from home setup. Si checked few options at Srelle. I got the exact something what I was looking for. Its amazing. Quality wise and even design wise as well. I will definitely recommend Srelle.

Have paid for the furniture in full months ago and now no one at the company will respond. Have contacted them on email several times no response the contact number on the invoice is a dead line. They delete posts on instagram account. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY.

Be careful - this shop is a scam!

In october, we bought the library bench from the Srelle shop for 1.185€.

When we received the package, one of the legs of the bench was broken. This was definitely due to the very poor packaging of the bench. It came in a very weak cardboard box, not sufficiently strong for the shipment of a wooden bench. The bench itself had no sufficient protective covering. The rest of the box was stuffed with remains of waste products which smelled horrendously. This waste was supposed to to serve as protection. Nowhere on the box was indicated that it contained a fragile product and required careful handling. Not something you would expect from a professional company.

When we reported this to Srelle, they apologized and literally told us we could keep the bench or throw it away. They would send us a replacement bench instead. This was in October 2023.

Three months several emails later, we have still no replacement bench received.

In the beginning I wanted to believe them but after 4 months I'm very sure that this company is a complete scam.
- The quality of the product is completely different than the pictures on the Srelle webiste. The bench we recieved is worth not half of the 1.185€ we paid, even if it was not broken.
- A professional company ships its product in a decent cardboard box, fully protected, clearly stating on the box that it contains a fragile product and it should be handled with care. None of that was the case.
- A professional company does not make false promises.

I'm very sure that all the positive reviews on Trustpilot are paid reviews by Srelle. Hard to believe they are real.

BE AWARE - COMPANY IS A COMPLETE SCAM -DON'T BUY FROM THEM

Product different than on website, forced to pay shipment back to India, horrible customer experience

PRODUCT PHOTOS ON WEBSITE ARE MISLEADING

I ordered the darkened office chair from the Srelle website, which in the photos is a dark brown color with a clearly visible wood structure. The chair I received looked black and was varnished with such a dark color that the wood structure was hardly visible. I was unhappy with the product and wanted to return it.

RETURN POLICY ON WEBSITE NOT UPHELD

Srelle’s website clearly stated that products should be returned to their warehouse location in Berlin, Germany (where I also live).
Since the return link on the website was broken, I resorted to writing an email requesting a return. Srelle replied that the chair could only be returned to a warehouse in India and that I would be responsible for all return costs and customs procedures. These instructions clearly contradict the return policy on Srelle’s website.

RETROACTIVE CHANGE OF RETURN POLICY

After I pointed out this contradiction in an e-mail, Srelle completely ignored my e-mail and chose to instead change the return policy on their website to match the instructions they had given me. Luckily, I had screenshotted and date-stamped the original version.

MISLABELED CUSTOM DOCUMENTS

Since Srelle (the sender) refused to process my return over e-mail and provided no functioning link on their website to do so, I would have had to independently ship/export a 17-kilogram package to India and fill out various customs forms.
It is noteworthy that Srelle mis-labeled their own customs forms for my shipment with a lower weight and much lower product value (Srelle declared a product value of $125 while I as a customer paid over $900).

IRGNORED CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION

Srelle has completely ignored all of my latest e-mails while the 30-day allotment for returns is quickly running out.

WHAT I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED

- Srelle should have offered to cover the return costs given the product I received does not match the product photos
- Srelle should have respected their own return policy and allowed me to return the chair to the adress specified
- Srelle should have offered a functioning return portal or link to process my return
- Srelle should have answered my emails thoroughly and in due time

I highly recommend that Srelle channel its energy into better customer service instead of legally dubious behavior. I consider this the worst customer experience I have faced to date.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate requests that fall outside the bounds of our established return policy. We deeply regret any inconvenience this may have caused and extend our sincere apologies.
