Prompt and reliable
I’ve been let down in the past with taxi firms in Shrewsbury who are linked with Go Carz and was pleased to speak to a very nice gentleman (can’t remember name) atStar Cars to confirm booking and received email confirming the same. Received text/link to track driver who was waiting promptly to pick me up. Would definitely use again

DO NOT USE THIS TAXI FIRM - USE NOW CARS
I requested a quote for two taxis to cover a return journey of less than 5 miles and was quoted £100!! I told Star that I had booked Now Cars who quoted £16.80 for the same 2 trips. Someone from Star then called Now Cars, pretending to be me, and changed my booking. If you want a decent, reputable, taxi firm, call Now Cars on 01743 344344 and speak to Kirsty.
I can see you have Flagged my review, Perry, but have failed to address the fact that one of YOUR EMPLOYEES called Now Cars, PRETENDING TO BE ME, and changed my booking so that my taxi would not arrive as I had booked!!

Thank you for your feedback.
The journey requested was for 7 passengers and quoted as one of our executive vehicles which have a minimum charge and booking length. I can see you were quoted £40 for one journey and £60 for another as it was after 10pm. The minimum charge.is for a booking for up to 1 hour and includes 15 miles so that price is correct.
I am glad you managed to arrange an alternative taxi that meets your requirements better.

I recently used Star Cars for a corporate event. I found them helpful and easy to deal with. Perry's prompt responses by email were really useful. The drivers made sure all of our guests had a safe journey back to the hotel from the venue. Thank you, will use again

My first trip since Covid
An excellent experience. I was impressed by the cars which were pristine and comfortable. The outward and return journeys were both smooth and both Perry and Sam were courteous and put me at my ease. I would definitely use Star taxis again as my firm of choice.

Christmas Day taxi service
I booked a taxi return for my elderly mother on Christmas Day with Star Cars. Excellent reliable service. The driver was helpful friendly and courteous, and even had a Christmas gift for my mother from the company. A nice thought. We would definitely recommend.

Easily the best service i have received…
Easily the best service i have received from a taxi company. Last year me and my partner and daughter went away, the service was 5*. Nothing is too much for them. Thats why when i planned to take my daughter alton towers this year it had to be star cars and when i explained it was for my daughter bday they was offering to put balloons and drinks in the car and asked my daughters fav music these little gestures will make my daughter very happy thank you so much star cars amazing service again 😁

Excellent service by Star Cars for our anniversary and surprise proposal
Excellent service by Star Cars. I organised a surprise anniversary dinner for my partner. We were able to have a Mercedes S Class. Such a beautiful and comfortable car inside and out. Loved the privacy glass and rear recliner leather seats. Ian the driver was professional and arranged my ladies favourite chocolates as a gift. We had a great experience.

Excellent service
Unfortunately I have had to cancel my planned trip for December but I have used this company before and they have always given me a service that cannot be faulted. I will always use Star Cars Travel for all future journeys.
