As a landlord
As a landlord, I had a disappointing experience with Stones Property Management, particularly with their Hayes branch, which has compelled me to advise others to consider alternative options. Initially, we agreed on terms for their tenant find service via email, but the final invoice included unexpected additional charges. Notably, these extra fees were not communicated to me in advance, either verbally or in the written contract.
Moreover, the branch appears to suffer from significant staff shortages, resulting in my having to interact with a different letting manager daily. This not only necessitated repeated explanations of my situation but also contributed to a general sense of disorganization within the office.
Of particular concern was the handling of sensitive information. My personal data, including bank details, was collected through methods that I consider insecure, which raises serious privacy and security issues.
Overall, my experience with Stones Property Management was inefficient, costly, and fraught with communication and security issues. Based on these factors, I cannot recommend their services and will not be using them again. Please exercise caution if considering this company for property management needs.
