Good advice re managing my expectations and sold the house

I cannot recommend Strakers enough.
We’ve had a nightmare trying to sell our house (not because of the house it was beautiful! but due to buyers not really having a clue or being very honest during the process!).
What Strakers provided was someone to discuss and push on your behalf when things were getting extremely tense and stressful. We lost a sale due to first time buyers messing us around and not understanding the buying process but we managed to sell our house again within a week!
The team were lovely from the get go, each and everyone we met kept us informed and communicated with us extremely well at every single viewing.
Also huge shot out to Helen - literally everyone needs a Helen when buying and selling! We cannot thank Helen enough for the times she supported us and made it much less stressful. Helen was not just a negotiator, keeping everything on track but my much needed counsellor when things got super stressful!
I would not hesitate recommending Strakers to anyone and if we ever move (never again when pregnant 🤣🤪) we will certainly be using them. Thank you all so much for your efforts in getting us sold and moved before our babies are here.

The initial consultation and valuation was good.

However, we had to do some chasing for answers regarding what was happening as we had a delayed sale, beyond our original date and requirements.

Rosemary Heath from the Corsham branch showed us around a property. She was a really lovely estate agent, she was approachable, personal and very detailed in her explanations. She is very passionate about her job and she clearly cares about her clients.

Being a landlord, I have had many professional inter-actions over the years with the Strakers Lettings team who diligently manage my properties.

Karen and her team (Nicky, Michele, Nick & Helen) have ALWAYS impressed me by their efficiency, swift response, their clarity of communication and doing exactly what they said they would do, and on time - it is a rarity nowadays!

I have also heard how good and caring they are with the many tenants they have on their books - finding that balance of managing each others need and expectations is a real skill - they do it brilliantly.

For me its Strakers all the way - Karen has clearly created and embedded a great ethos in her small team who are 100% reliable and wholly professional in all that they do.
