Sunflex’s policy of only having one approved supplier in each geographical area means customers are reliant on that company, and ours were not only expensive but have left us high and (not so) dry. We had Sunflex doors and windows installed in August 2025, having been especially taken by the slim sliding doors. After a couple of months we started getting condensation issues arising from mistakes in the installation, and it has also become clear there were mistakes in the original design which are likely to cause long-term problems. Unfortunately the approved supplier in Bristol went into administration in November and we’re now left in the stressful position of not having a warranty (as they didn’t run an insurance backed scheme) and having to spend a lot of time and more money trying to bring the work up to standard.
It’s a shame as the products themselves seem decent — as they should be at the price — but in our case SunFlex’s vetting and oversight of its supplier hasn’t been good enough and we’re regretting our purchase.

We used Sunflex profiles for all our windows when we built our home 17 years ago.
We had a leak issue which we couldn’t trace. I called Sunflex technical support in order to discuss/resolve the issue. My expectations in getting a solution was fairly low, especially as the company has developed far better products.
My contact was Will Mitchell. Will went to extraordinary lengths to help us - even finding the original order and sending detailed drawings to assist us, along with valued suggestions as to a solution.
I find it , regrettably, unusual to expect this level of support from manufacturers “these days” .
Truly exemplary support which easily justifies my 5 Star review.

Doors haven't held up. They are 15 years old and no one wants to touch them for repairs meaning I'll have to replace them which is a huge expense. No one answers the phone to direct you to a form where they still won't contact you. I'm sure they are great at sales and their distribution network but if you're a homeowner you'll be screwed over by these doors and company.

Strange isn't it! Doors Bi-folds are corroding underneath the paint finish the metal ball catch housing is rotten with rust...doors are now seventeen years old, our front door (plastic mix not Sunflex) is over twenty-six years old no issues.

Sunflex will not repair if anything goes wrong. Nor will anyone else, because the locks are internal and not accessible. Do not buy Sunflex bi-fold.

We purchased a set of Sunflex Sliding doors through one of their approved distributors in 2018 - they cost £6k and were sold with a 10 year warranty.

In 2022 the rollers failed, doors were unusable and I then discovered the distributor/installer had gone bankrupt, so assumed Sunflex UK would be able to help - how wrong I was.

This is what they told me:

a) My warranty was with the distributor.
b) Sunflex don't have any installers of their own to asses/fix the issue.
c) They wont even supply replacement rollers as goodwill.
d) Cant quote with a confirmed set of rollers as they are not sure which rollers my doors use.

Basically no use whatsoever, despite selling a substandard product, my advice would be to avoid Sunflex UK.

The doors are well made and run nicely. The only drawback is that the top frame is very chunky which makes the door look top heavy.

We have purchased three sets of Sunflex sliding, and folding sliding doors over the last 15 years. We have found them to be very reliable and high quality items.

Never heard of this company before. But an excellent experience with fantastic doors perfectly in time for summer, highly recommend!!

Excellent doors - great value for money

The product is great and looks really smart. Great door action, excellent sight lines. The only reason it's not 5* is that I have another set of Origin doors with very similar spec and price point and they are very marginally better due to the size of the top and bottom of the outer frame being smaller and sleeker. Not much in it though ... both excellent doors.

We are very pleased with our stylish indoor and external windows as installed by HBD Systems St Albans .
They are well made light and slide well, add a nice look to the new extension to our house.
It was a pity that delivery from Germany was delayed which extended our project completion time but worth waiting for

Would recommend to anyone wishing high quality doors. Just what we wanted!

We're really pleased with our Sunflex sliding doors. Slim sightlines, fantastic thermal properties and very well engineered. We would highly recommend if you're looking for a high quality yet functional look to your house.
