I wrote to customer service when I had been badly treated in the Sherborne store. They just fobbed me off saying that the staff there would be devastated by my feedback and that they wouldn’t feed back. The reply was so patronising - they failed to take on board any points I made including when you walk in the store the staff look up but don’t say hello and then look down and start whispering. It feels like “I’m not worthy” to be in there or bothering them. I have bought lamps, jugs, pitchers and all of my cushions from the shop but no more, I will spend my money where the customer is treated with respect and some Clarissa isn’t pompously bellowing “I’ve got Susie on the phone”!! Badly done Susie Watson you should value your customers as well as your staff

Oh. My. Goodness. If you haven’t been to the new Susie Watson Designs showroom in Marlborough, you are missing out on a slice of heaven!

As a self-confessed interiors addict, I was in absolute paradise. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the most delightful team, especially the lovely Louise, who made my shopping experience unforgettable - and my credit card balance increase!

The showroom is a treasure trove of gorgeousness – from the exquisite fabrics to the stunning home accessories, I was like a kid in a candy store. I may have spent far too much money, but every penny was worth it. The design, quality and craftsmanship are simply amazing, and worth every penny.

Louise’s impeccable taste - and keen eye for detail helped me pick out the most fabulous pieces that I would never have chosen, but she has transformed my bedroom into a rather chic sanctuary. I can’t stop raving about the beautiful furniture and textiles she's helped me find.

If you’re looking for a place that combines elegance, charm, and a touch of whimsy, Susie Watson Designs is the place to be. Trust me, you’ll leave with a smile on your face and a car full of stunning goodies.

Such rude customer service in the Marlborough Branch today - the staff there were so uninterested in customers. No help, support or basic politeness. I walked out and will not be returning.

I purchased a wool throw, a collection of cushions for two sofas and some pottery. The Alresford store couldn’t have been more helpful and patient as I showed them the design and colour way I desired. I initially purchased two “hero” cushions and was given help and advice in store. They were so beautifully made and very striking. I purchased the peacock and guinea fowl cushions initially. I returned to the shop and was given such help choosing additional cushions to match. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they were so friendly and knowledgeable about the products.
I am looking forward to adding to my Susie Watson collection now I’ve found her. Thank you, Sue, and all the Alresford team. A delightful shopping experience, with true customer care.

Cushions are beautiful with their quality finishing and lush fabrics. The inner feather cushions aren't so great. Two in particular stink. The room fills with dust if you to try to puff them up. I've beaten them and aired them often but nothing changes.

I'm disappointed in the response from customer care. If you find this to be the case with your "new" cushion, don't accept it, because customer services isn't interested beyond this point.

The worst service ever from this company. I asked them to come to my home to measure for a bedspread. I waited 3 months for it to arrive… it was the wrong size.
They told me they would correct it asap. Even to piece a panel to it.
9 months later not even an email.
Nothing
They are apparently refunding my money….thats big of them.
So not happy with this company

Following my first online order with SW Designs, I am disappointed with the lack of customer satisfaction that I have received. My quilt arrived with stains, which I was advised to buy Vanish and remove them myself! I have yet to have a response from customer services, following this request (unfortunately, I very much doubt I will).

Wonderful and beautiful things and great quality. Fell in love with the foxglove design and was amazed to find out that they could transfer the design onto a Susie Watson teapot for me! Adele from the team was so brilliant and helpful and I'm so delighted with the teapot. Def a family heirloom now with a wonderful story!

Attended Broadway showroom which is beautiful. Arranged for Rachael their interior designer to meet us at a new house we are buying and paid £50 fee, on the day she didn’t show up and so I phoned up - no answer. Message left and that was ignored!!! I emailed and got told the appointment hadn’t saved in the diary, whilst the £50 was reimbursed it didn’t reflect the time I’d taken off work and fact I’d travelled some distance for this. Was told they would re-schedule, they didn’t, I again returned to their showroom and again left my number, no reply! I have to say I’m tremendously disappointed at the lack of professionalism and courtesy. If this is how they treat customers I think that’s a line drawn for me.

I have visited the Marlow store twice in as many weeks and on both occasions received a warm welcome. The shop is an Aladdin's cave of beautiful fabrics, furnishings & furniture but what really made my visit worthwhile was the enthusiasm and helpfulness of the staff!
After my first visit I came out with numerous sumptuous cushions, all chosen after much discussion and with the help of my new friends; and I am delighted with them.
The second visit took much longer than anticipated but with the patience and helpfulness from Sarah I was able to select all the trimmings I required for every curtain in the house.
I may not have bought the shop out, but regardless of this I still received some special customer service and will go back to this store in the future.

Following an interesting morning workshop at the Harrogate Shop I arranged for Rachel to visit me at home and measure up for new living room curtains. Rachel and Charlotte brought many lovely samples and I ordered curtains for my living room, curtains for my bedroom, two new sofas, a rug and a tv unit together with paint. I would never have had the courage to completely change my garden room without Rachel’s expert guidance! It is now all in place and I am delighted with everything. It took a little time to receive everything but it was all worth waiting for. A delightful shop in Harrogate with friendly, helpful staff. I have returned for extra pieces and will continue to pop in regularly.

What an amazing after sales service. We misjudged the colour of a rug that we bought but only after removing the original packaging, which clearly you had to do so. Replacing the packaging was impossible but the team at the Marlow shop took the rug off us and sent it back to the warehouse. Above and beyond the call of duty but many many thanks. We shall be back.

This is the first time I have ordered from Susie Watson. The customer service was exceptional from the moment I made my enquiry about making a rose pink wide stripe tablecloth to fit my garden table. My order was made very quickly, as requested for a family event. I was kept up to date with its progress from ordering to the point of delivery. The tablecloth is beautiful. The best customer service I have experienced recently . Thank you.

Apple blossom fabric purchased with 130cm advertised working width unfortunately reality this is 120cm and my curtain maker has had to fight hard to get this accepted

They agreed to take the fabric back that had been cut into and replace
I then had to purchase a further 2 m so that we had enough fabric!!!

We were promised that this would be collected and the new delivered we have heard absolutely nothing so far

Really disappointing service and product from a company I have spent a lot of money with

I have had a second set of curtains and co-ordinating soft furnishings from Susie Watson, Harrogate, and I'm just as happy as I was with the first. Rachel helped with both designs, one done with a visit to my house and one from photos. I now have a home I love, my own pieces combining beautifully with those Rachel helped me choose. Thank you.

My mum recently bought a bed which is clearly faulty; parts with absolutely no stitching, clearly still has the tacking in, chipped in places. In short, no one would accept it and it wasn’t cheap. This was raised with the company as soon as delivered and their response was absolutely shocking with no accountability. Nearly one month later, and she’s still waiting for them to arrange collection of the faulty good and a refund. Avoid at all costs, sadly all the negative reviews are true and this company’s price point does not reflect its attitude to customer service

Exceptionally poor attitude to customer service & awareness to your customer's needs. Ordered some stripey candles as part of my wife's birthday present (Nov 2023) circa £26 as could only buy in sets of 6. Also £10 next day delivery so mas to get them in time. Arrived on time, wife very pleased. All are individually wrapped (box well wrapped too) so she opened one & then put them away until we got the Xmas decorations out. She wanted them for that. Upon opening the rest, 4 out of 6 were broken so I complained. Initial response was "could you drive from Birmingham to Broadway" a 100 mile round trip to swap them-really? Obviously I refused, so they offered me a voucher. The warehouse people then sent me an £18 voucher. This doesn't cover replacing (you can only buy 6 at £26.00 + delivery) so not overly impressed. After receiving the voucher one of the candles exploded wax all over the place-luckily the dog wasn't sat on his bed at the time. Following that I messaged the two e-mail addresses that I had for them after Xmas (20th Jan) & as of today not heard a thing back from them (got a read receipt). Poor customer service, poor attitude towards the customer & poor products-the facts speak for themselves.

I very much enjoy using the mugs and plate which were delivered safely and efficiently. I find the straight mug to be the perfect size for me. I particularly appreciate the unique and tasteful designs and craftsmanship - so uplifting to have something different from the generally available mass produced goods these days.

I spent 550 on a 'seconds' stool and due to the state of it on arrival, several emails and phone calls later and it being a 'SECONDS' Susie Watson finally offered up a very small refund of £50.00.

Our experiences with Suzie Watson Designs over the last 4months has been nothing but exceptional.
We particularly enjoyed the first meeting and developing relationship with Rachel, the SWD designer from the Harrogate store. The “at home” design consultation helped us fix our views about the kind of “luxury” bedroom we wanted to create and one that would “stand on its own merits” irrespective of future trends. Curtains, blind, king-size bed, quilt, bedding, throws lamps/shades and cushions were acquired over a short period of time. Together with a new colour scheme for walls, doors/windows and wardrobe doors, all sourced from the SWD range of emulsion/eggshell we now have a wonderful return on our investment. It brings much pleasure to us and confirms that all the hard work involved was definitely more than worthwhile.
We have been very impressed with the quality of all communications from the Harrogate store, the warehouse and the curtain team. The hand embroidered fabrics are fabulous and the quality of curtain making is excellent. The curtains arrived three weeks early, the bed arrived one day within the stated 12 week delivery schedule ( I was even advised when the bed had been put on a cargo boat and was on the high seas making its way to the UK) and all items to be collected from our local store we were notified by telephone/email.
