Always visit the Uckfield shop in person... we love going there, so friendly and helpful, no pressure and we are allowed to just browse for AGES! Prices are reasonable especially given the very niche... Ver mais

We make and sell top quality biltong, dry wors and boerewors as well as selling Southern African groceries for homesick ex-pats. Our biltong is made from premium grass-fed British and Irish beef and is always freshly sliced to order, never prepacked. We have physical shops in Sussex and offer free UK wide delivery for online orders over £25.00.

Delivery is going downhill
When I first started ordering my reviews was a 5 star but recently my orders have been 2 days late even when ordering way before 2pm.
They continue to use DPD despite knowing it's a awful company. Dont offer next day delivery if the company you use cannot deliver....its getting ridiculous.

Hi Yazmin, I am very sorry that your deliveries have been delayed, however this is the first we've heard of it. Please contact us if future deliveries are delayed so we can speak to DPD about it. We have tried a number of different couriers for our deliveries and have found DPD to be the most reliable but still not perfect. Please let us know which of your deliveries were de;layed to we can follow up with DPD.

Product fantastic as always
Your product as always is fantastic my only issue is dpd delivery. This is my 2nd order in which they have had an "unexpected 24hr delay" which on a normal occasion would be fine but not when it's perishable.

Delicious biltong
Delicious biltong, and way too moreish. I love the products but for the last…
I love the products but for the last few months the Chilli sticks have not tasted the same. The burning feeling in your mouth is overwhelming and not pleasant at all. Somehow it seems that the recipe has been changed, Otherwise this is my favourite South African comfort shop.

Hi Roger, I am very sorry you weren't happy with your order. As a regular customer we value your business and want to keep you happy. We try to make sure that you get your biltong as fresh as possible so we don't send any orders on a Friday and have them sitting in the courier depot all weekend. This policy is shown on our website and as you placed your order at 20:47 on Thursday night, it was well after the 2:00pm cut off time for next day delivery. We sent the order first thing Monday to be with you on Tuesday. The courier notifications are sent automatically by DHL so perhaps they ended up in your Spam folder, please have a look. I am sorry if the stokkies were dryer than usual but hopefully they were OK, please let us know if not.
